- Just before Christmas a client commissioned five multiple frame end grain cutting boards. These boards are made from Maple/ Wenge and one from Bubinga/ Maple. While at it I also made a few breadboards from a solid piece of Birch. All boards finish consists of flooding/ saturation with paraffin oil followed by liberal application of a homemade paraffin oil, beeswax and carnauba wax blend, which is applied in liquid form and buffed into the pores of the wood. Like my other videos I try to make impressions of what it took me to do a project. This is no tutorial nor a how-to by any means. Holy shit, batman! I consider myself a TH-cam cutting board video connoisseur and have seen a good portion of what is out there. The brillance of your work, both in the excellence of design and execution, is coupled with a simple, well-paced, "detailed-enough" educational component that also wins you some kind of internet woodworking prize , title, or something. How can you have 113K views when other less beautiful examples and poorly executed instruction somehow have more...?
