I know...but I live half the globe away, I don't watch TV nor do I have cable to watch E! or other Hollywood celebrity shows...so I pretty much never see him anymore because he's no longer in new movies. He used to be everywhere, and I collect the DVDs of his old movies (I don't even watch DVDs anymore...now I only watch streaming sites when I have the time). The last time I saw him is in Sonic...

I have grown to love snl so so much. I grew up with Sandler and Spade and that crew and stopped watching it for a long time but I've become so endeared with the many casts over the years, snl has legit got me through some hard times. Thanks for the many laughs

Why
They never got fired. They left on their own terms. Taran had Broadway come up that he wanted to pursue. And Jay wanted to get into other things.
@@tntjoko319 To be fair, alot of the time, they leave "mutually", meaning they are fired (contract not renewed) and given other programs or roles via one of SNL's or Lorne's contacts.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing. SNL needs to constantly change to prevent it from becoming too stale (lose ratings) and inject new talent that could potentially skyrocket.
