- I travelled to Vancouver to try Filipino foods for the frist time. Watch me react to fried Dilis (little anchovies), I also try Dinakdakan, a Ilocano delicacy with pork parts such as the face, ears, liver, and tongue. I then try Ginisang Ampalaya or Filipino Bitter Gourd and a tasty Filipino Chicken Curry. This is a classic Turo turo (or point point) restaurant in Canada that makes me remember all the awesome places in Little Manila in Queens.

Thank you for always showcasing Filipino Cuisine. God bless! Take care!
Man! Everything looked good! No dessert this time? The Carioca would’ve been perfect! Oh and good job on the spoon and fork use. You’ve just unlocked another skill lol.

at last you eat fried dish dipping with vinegar. I'm now craving with that Tawilis (Tagalog of the fried fish). You can try put chili in a vinegar or ask if they have sukang paombong (vinegar with chilis, onions and peppercorn) it was really good . Anything with fried its a good pair with vinegar.
We miss your filipino food adventure
Dinakdahan is also my favorite. Glad you tried it today.

You got the jackpot of fine dining for affordable price in the Philippines 🇵🇭. You are the real foodie that I’ve seen on TH-cam. Try the diniguan(pork intestines in pork blood stew) and palace na pata ( ham hocks) Go to Binondo area in Manila. Best siopao and Chinese shumai and the works.❤❤❤Be safe and always watch your surroundings. MABUHAY ang Pilipinas 🇺🇸❤️🇵🇭

Nah, it originated from Manila. Made/influenced by Indian soldiers who were serving in the British army when the UK decided to try invading the country starting with the capital. Happened around the 18th century. Some of the soldiers who stayed had to substitute with what was locally available in terms of spices.

In some countries in the middle east, filipino food is terrible
BITTER GOURD in PILIPINO OR TAGALOG is AMPALAYA,but here in CAVITE,PHILS. we call it AMARGOSO.
I love little pieces of knowledge like this!
7:27 No, pansit is the correct pronunciation, not panset. There are some fellow Filipinos who pronounce it panset, whereas it's supposed to be pansit. But I guess, that doesn't really matter at all Both of them refer to noodles.
