/ kitokys I consider this run to be the baseline for speed in this category. To beat this, assuming new tech isn't found, you need good RNG on boss patterns and exceptional movement to keep up.
I just finished Stir of Dawn this morning for the first time. The game had some bugs when I played it on launch that soured me a bit, but after a year and the two free DLCs I'm right back in love with it.

Minutes in and the speed of all this is insane! 😂 I love this game and trying a 100% completion of the game. And this dude is smashing the game in a 40 minute video…incredible!
You just hold up and press attack to do an up-slash, then you press down to cancel the animation. Repeat that as quickly as you can in rhythm. As for the slide, you need to have the Fourth Toe made of Limestone equipped, then you just need to hold down while you dash. Easy.

Bile Vial is so I can potentially save more time by taking damage, since I'll have vials to heal with. Even though I already have the wound, the game will not open the door beyond Esdras unless Ten Piedad is dead.

I don't know if this would save much time, but I did a dash stab right before the game locks you in place for the Escribar fight. I ended up starting the fight already in striking distance of him. Anyway, crazy good run man, and congrats on the record!
Escribar has a trick where you can lock his AI if you start the fight a certain way. The way I do it is I open the fight with a dash-thrust, then attack twice as he is casting. This typically forces a teleport instantly, and when he reappears, he doesn't do anything. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
How exactly do you reset runs easily? Don't you need to finish a run just to restart? I may consider doing this just because, but I want to know this first

You can cancel the attack animation. No turbo on the controller

@@indyzaga google it. There's tutorials on here. You have to hit a combination of up attack and crouch to cancel the animation.
