In my research of the Del Webb communities in the valley, most are not gated, but you mentioned “gates” so is this community gated? Are there condos and/or townhomes in this community? Are the annual Rec Center dues you mention per household? Does that include all of the amenities except golf? Can the home be periodically rented out as a short term vacation rental? Also, if we buy a second home there, can our kids and grandkids come and stay with us for a certain period of time? Can they use our home for a short period of time when we are not there? Also, how many pools are on site, and is there a playground for the grandkids? Finally, how many Pickleball courts are on site?
Hi Richard! These are great questions. When I say "gates" I'm referring to the gate structures that are at the entrance. There is an actual guard house and space where a gate could be but they are no longer there. When you drive through it has the feel of a gate but nothing is there to stop you from going in and out. There are only single family homes in the area. No condo/townhomes in SCG. The annual homeowner fees include two activity cards per household. That is for the amenities but golf is an additional cost. You can get various levels of golf cards depending on the level of use. I think you can do short term rentals in the area but for a minimum of 30 days most likely. We can double check that to be sure. Kids and grandkids are welcome to stay and can use lots of the rec amenities. No playgrounds that I've seen but there is a dedicated children's pool so that would be fun. I think there are a total of 4 other pools but don't quote me on that. We can verify. Pickleball courts number 22 and 11 for tennis so you can see which is more popular.
