For the 5 set, you only need to be a friend level 10 of Liu Bei, nothing more, is a very early in the game actually
I really love that the game really opens up at part 2 and beyond. Having a blast so far.
Video idea: the same type of buff : Power up for example will give diffrent % buffs depending on the activation requirements. For example Power up on critical attack is about 30%-40% dmg buff compaired to Power up of 10-15% on wizardly hit/Martial arts hit and the time the buff stays active is diffrent too. So test these to see which ones are the best when compaired to dmg % to ease of activation. Btw A counter attack counter is when you hold RT and press the deflect button,you will deflect and attack with your other weapon seamlessly switching in the process for anyone that didn't know.
For the last set he mentioned you can get it earlier by raising Liu bei bond to 10
You can also farm it earlier, in Part 5 Sub-Battlefield "Caliber of a Hero"

for the last set presented, you can also raise Liu Bei follower to lvl 10 and get the same set, hes one of the first character found, you can get that set ultra early. The martial art on his sword is also pretty fun and good
Not rly, the Chivalrous double sword arts are much better than the ones on Liu Bei's swords.

Yeah, that first boss is pretty tough. You have to get used to deflecting attacks and countering, or else you will have a very difficult time.
Honestly the boss that took the most trys for me outside maybe one boss on a horse don't want to spoil the name though
@issakfyri2729 Yeah, the one on the horse gave me a lot of trouble. I actually found it easier to beat solo without any reinforcements.

To get the Man of Benevolence 4 Star set and weapon you can just reach Max bond with Lieu Bei
Part 6 let’s make it shine quest have 2 chalice pick up : run to the right follow the muddy road to the next bridge, enter the first boat all the way out, on the right side their should be another boat on the right, enter the second boat all the way, beside the fire pit their should be a shiny pick up u should have 2 chalice from the pick up, jump off the boat or let the bandit kill u, and yes u should die to respawn u back to your flag then retravel to same missions and repeat ….bonus use water wizardry so u can have the speed boost spell make it faster 😊
Why is no one talking about cao cao armour? Combine it with dual swords and its a nuts build whenever you use a martial art you put three debuffs on the enemies.

I was just disenchanting the gear perks that i like and enchanting them to different gear
Ex: Removed detect flag/enemies from one helmet & added to a different helmet
if i restart the game as a new player, i would bond with liu bei and guan yu right away,
guan yu weapon is so op, and liu bei armor set is so good
How many cups do you need to max out a companion? Also when will run into Xun to get the perfect xun set?
I really like the Zhang Fei armor set for early game.
The cup of cordiality run at the Demon Fort doesn't seem to work. It travels right back to the last battle flag where u got the chest. Fighting or no fighting makes no differences. Also saving or not at 1st flag where the black smith is makes no differences.
You have to complete the mission once first then you can replay it to farm the cups using the method he mentioned.
The liu bei armor u can get earlier than when u fight him as a boss, he does start off as a companion before u fight him so you could get his oath to 10 before u even fight him,
One thing to note, in New Game+ light armour is absolute garbage and you will die so much, so often unless you're on try hard mode all the time. I would honestly only recommend Medium and heavy for long term investment. Light if you want some fun specific builds, but not the go to for endgame.
Light doable in newgame plus but you need to invest in high wood for the bigger hp pool.
@@magna1877 its doable but not worth it. youll survive longer with medium and the dodge trade off is barely noticeable. also if your build isnt for wood then its pointless to put points in it. for wood stat most (if not all) builds go medium/heavy not light.
@@NobleOneA259 im saying if your build is wood its a viable build. Wood metal can chunk bosses from far but is a pretty boring build.
I just did the 1st boss in ng+.. i have 40 in wood and light armor (58% weight) was gettin killed way easier than the 1st time. It's just like you said. Had to go try-hard mode just to get by.

Not sure if it differs from follower to follower but you only need 5 cups from lv 1 to lv 10. This has been the case the past like 5 that I’ve leveled up.

@@leegorman3329 when you go to the reinforcements section on the battle flags during a mission there should be an option to use cups of cordiality (xbox controller is "y") not sure what the button is for mouse and keyboard and it's probably triangle on ps controller.

@@leegorman3329 honestly there are videos out there of how to farm cups of cordiality and you could theoretically farm enough cups to level up every follower and get all the armor/weapons they have since they give you a 4 star copy of their set when you reach sworn brother status which is 5 cups. At least last a I played a few weeks ago.

To get the 5th set you mentioned can you keep defeating the boss on the mentioned chapter? Or does that just give the same set pieces you got the first time?
Does armor set effect your spirit if you use spell? Suddenly after the prison mission, my character whenever uses a spell, ends up on bad side of spirit. Even tho it is mentioned that 0 spirit is used for casting the spell, like absorb vitality. It shows zero spirit required but still uses 3 spirit
That zero is not the spirit cost, but the required moral level to cast the spell. Spirit cost is the last 3 digit number there. Every spell has a spirit cost.

General of man armor set Is the most OP Armor
From what I've tested your back up weapon and back up ranged weapons passives aren't active if they aren't the ones ready, so having a set item as a back up weapon will not give you the bonus
For the first set is it a random drop to get all 4stars do the mobs drop it or only the boss I killed the boss twice and it’s the same 3 level

2 swear an oath with everyone via cups of cordiality
3. Read your passive buffs from gear.

might be a dumb question, but do you have to equip the entire set to get the special buffs?
no. you will get the tier bonus for each number of sets you equip. so 2 pieces will give the 2 piece bonus

By the way, to get the Man of Benevolence set, you just need to increase friendship with Liu Bei, not Killing the boss on that mission.
I didn't even hear of this i just found out of it today ill be getting this being a combo of nioh and sekiro which nioh is the hardest souls game ever and faster and then sekiro has that cool counter regain health gameplay

How many points do we need into earth to be able to wear some of the heaviest armors in the game and still be at A or B rank in weight?
About 22. It's no big deal and is quite negligible by the time you hit part 4 and can do some solid Qi farming.
Certain later game armor you'll probably need around 35 to 40 earth I'm using the dread star armor I'm at 40 earth right now and just barely into B rank

Great video thx can't say I'm loving Wo Long. Difficulty seems off, I'm melting bosses without any grind or farming...that's not very soulslike lol.
Melting? Are u just hitting literally every parry? Cause it's about the same speed as a Sekiro or Souls boss being around reccomended level n gear
@@SoulNinjaKen to be fair probs melting but beating first time quite a bit which is unusual all except first three bosses however not even at halfway point I'm sure it gets harder later.
@@JustinB_Oz depends on how far you are tbh part 4 has a pretty tough boss and the final is tough. In my opinion those r the 2 hardest, but ye I've beaten some 1st try, some are tough and some you just kinda can parry easy, I feel like my experience in soul/borne n sekiro parry helps alot.
it was pretty decent pace for myself as well, until Lu Bu that was a spike in difficulty. This one required quite a few tries to get the timings right :D
Parry is something I never been good at. So this game feels pretty difficult to me. Still loving this game.
how to get more than 3 elixir?
there are items that drop in later levels that increase uses and another item that increases efficacy. dragon vein crystal i think is the one that increases number of uses i believe.

People aren’t understanding if the weapon from the set is not the active weapon you have out you do not get 5/5 set effect you get 4/5 same with bows and crossbows
