I just re-played this mission because I missed a marking flag my first time through and thought I just got insanely lucky with the cup being in that chest. I was wondering if it’s farmable, this is so fantastic.
Compared to Nioh 2 this gearing is so much easier, it's great. Can't wait to see what the DLC does. There's a faster one in phase 5 but that's a bit of a ways in.
There's only one martial art I prefer to this and it comes from Song Ce's set weapon the Tiger Fang Dual Halberds. Not only does fire focus heavily on martial arts but the weapon itself just melts bosses, can even sometimes one-shot them if uninterrupted, just hacks and slashes like a mad man in a linear forward motion, if you put a fire enchant on the weapon it helps as a decent mini-boss or big enemy interrupt too allowing you to typically be able to one-shot most enemies.
@@baal8938 I mean the armour comes with the weapon you can equip that, just get Sun Ce to level 10. The weapons scale primarily from fire, secondarily from earth and tertiary is wood, so a balance between those 3 stats, I'm aiming for 60 fire, 40 earth and 20 wood at the moment. Will probably just raise fire to 99 after if I'm still playing. I suppose there are other sets you could use too such as Lu Bu that gives a boost to martial arts, and has a bow that scales from fire, but the basic set works just fine for the first playthrough at least. I keep my spells basic, you can use whatever you like really. Buffs, AoE damage, status builders.
@@hadoken95 Well yeah that too, except he doesn't use a fire enchant and he tries to focus wizardry which for a fire build seemed kinda redundant. Lu Bu is probably the better set to wear.
The splitstaff was ridiculous when you use the high stance active skill, I forget the name. I had a corruption build with one of those and at times it just shredded everyone. I’m actually glad this game isn’t quite as complex as Nioh, I probably still haven’t tried like 75% of everything in that game and played for 300 hours.
@@georgen5882 honestly; the lack of depth has been slowly lowering my opinion of the game as I reach the endgame. I think I can get why the 1-combo thing works in something like Dark Souls and Elden Ring, but after a while it becomes a bit too monotonous. I'm actually wondering how much more fun the progression would've been if martial arts were something you got from either a skill tree, or ranking up friendships with your companions. As it is now, if you find a weapon with what you want. . . why change? I kinda just got to use one 4 star sword I picked up so early, and nothing I've gotten since this new drought sword is even as good as it. . . and it just feels underwhelming? Like I remember my first run of Nioh 2; getting excited whenever I managed to find something cool from a tough fight, or at least something that would get me to swap around my gear more often.
I have a dilemma. I got the rewards for her and collected the delivery. But when I left the mission to go upgrade the new staff, it was not in my inventory and neither was her armor set. I didn’t retain anything yet she still counts as a sword ally.
Not gonna lie I returned this game but I got it again the other day and I'm having alot of fun, Idk what happened but I think I was sorely wrong about it originally
I didn't even hear of this i just found out of it today ill be getting this being a combo of nioh and sekiro which nioh is the hardest souls game ever and faster and then sekiro has that cool counter regain health gameplay
Which build should i go for having that weapon and armorset? I mean how should i use the skill points? Lets say i'm lv 40, what would be the distribution?
I just did this but it's not allowing me to restart the mission. It's also my first time on this stage. Am I supposed to beat it BEFORE doing this farm?
@@Tyrantor I've beat the mission, I did what the video guide says and it just puts me at the start of the level each time. The "30" second farms are a bit bullshit when the loading screen alone even on PS5 and Series X is probably 30 seconds, and then it's a couple of minutes to run back. Not exactly efficient.
@@tristanward9937 And the time spent doing it is time away from playing the game which levels most of them up naturally anyway. These are the kinda questions you need to ask yourself if it's worth doing. If you want a new set ASAP then sure, but if you're spending the time just to grab cups and level them all to go stow away armour you likely will never use, if you're gonna play on NG+ you will get them complete no problem. You also get cups for milestone achievements.
Can someone please explain this: Will weapons in the beginning of the game have the same damage as the end of the game? e.g. will the iron sword you get in the early game have the same damage as the iron sword you get in the end game?
Definitely NOT the best weapon in the game but I get it you want views so there's gotta be click bait. I watched you fighting enemies in the video and I tried not to laugh.
Another TH-camr already released this farming method, he was the first to drop the video on it you should really give credit for not finding this yourself...stealing other TH-camrs ideas very original
Hey slight idea that maybe several people can find the same thing? Look at Elden ring hundreds of videos all on the same farming spot look at dark souls 3 and almost any other game

Customize the skills on the armor BEFORE you upgrade it--the cost to customize for each slot goes up VERY high based on upgrade level
Ohhhh great tip!
That's a great tip!
Thanks for sharing

What skills to get pls tell
Don't forget you have to have beaten the level to do the farm otherwise when you travel to it it will just spawn you at the last battle flag

Does anyone know how to get zuo
Set ? (THE WAY OF TIANZHU) male
Your character has to be male. They are both wearing the same but it changes depending on whether your character is male or female
Does anyone know if you can grind out multiples of the crouching dragon helm
What Virtue Stats do you recommend for this build ??
Wood
Water
Metal
Thanks for mentioning that you need to clear the stage before you do this and getting me walled on the boss for over an hour.
This is great. What is your phase build for the staff play style? Wood and earth?
How do you get zuo ci armor set?
How many cups would I need to max out a character?

Wauw great video, I havent played far at all yet at which part you get that companion to level up?
Act 3
When I travel the chest doesn’t reset. Anyone else having this issue/ know how to fix?
have you fully completed the level before?
Whats stats you spec into for this set?
Are u have snap ?
What spells do you use for your Wood Stuff Wizard?
Does jade staff fanning peacock MA scale with wood stat aswell as fire?
If u have her as a sworn brother but her set doesn’t go into your inventory how do u get it?
did u figure it out?
You get it from deliveries menu, the game tells you this.
Do I lvl up my stats based of my weapons stats
What wiki is all this armor on?
ok but like a much faster cup farm would be the uninhibited heart sub quest, takes like 30 seconds per run with a quick reset after getting it too

are you playing on PC or console ?
If you like wizardy staff play, why arent you playing as Gandalf?

Will weapons in the beginning of the game have the same damage as the end of the game?

You get more damage on weapon by having it be a higher star rating and by upgrading it at blacksmith.
Well I got the armor and staff and the martial arts are trash mine was completely different 😢😢
Could you please explain me something? The cup of cordiality respawn every 5 minutes in the same chest? And how do you give it to the partner?
Just reset the level and do it over again.
Go into the reinforcements section when you rest at a flag. On PS5 its triangle to give cup. Not sure on other consoles.
I need an adult..... I am an adult...
Does this work if you've already picked up the cup? Will the chest reset
Yes you can farm cup by open chest reset mission And open again
a weapon that deals fire damage but gets absolutely no scaling from the fire stat of course that makes sense.
