The fastest way to get this set is by farming the last boss of the last main mission on his first fase after u kill him on his first fase u will get the set than second fase just let him kill u than the game will respon u again on his first fase enjoy 😅😅😅 and great build brother 🎉🎉

Doing this spell requires 15 morale, so takes a little while to get going in most missions. For info you want 60+ water virtue + ice attack on ALL gear pieces for real dmg. In this video his morale is way higher than the enemy's, so you'll be disappointed if you don't spec this properly. I have rocked this ice build since the start and made multiple variations, it is one of the most reliable for NG+, especially in a group.
Its weakness is human type enemies where your ominous chill misses 9/10 times, but the final Ice spell or first one can take care of this, if you do not want to rely on weapons.
60+ in water virtue.
What about the Hard Cap.
Useless after 40 or 50 i've been told.

For wizardry you want to go 60 at least, it's buffing your main element damage source from 4 each level up to level 40, to 3 each level up to level 60 (you actually should stop there until lv130+ when you can afford to pump up the dmg despite diminishing returns) and then goes to + 2 onwards past that (61+). At max level, you can go like 80-99 in main stat, 30-40 wood for hp and the rest in comfort virtue for weight and wizardry spell consumption, depending on your armour.
I just use the guding blade personally to handle human enemies.

Having a crossbow or bow on your back does grant the special effects of that individual ranged weapon.
If its selected in the hot bar yes. Unless your talking about a grace then its always active. This has been tested and proven with the luck stat.
One thing to note at 3:00 is that water isn’t weak to fire it’s primary weakness is actually earth, secondary weaknesses being wood and metal. So just swap to the lightning storm or the earth equivalent which is the rock spikes I think
It’s not about water being weak to fire, it’s about fire storm being a good choice for when the enemy is strong against water.
The nice thing about this setup is really the presets a lot of early bosses are weak to ice(water). You can easily adjust the build the counter the boss / area
There are grace sets foe each element in NG+. The water one basically gives you some free casts. Personally I use Lingbao grace for all the debuffs.
Something to note is that you’re 25 and the enemy is 15 in your intro clip

Yeah I was about to comment the same thing. Morale makes a huge difference in incoming dmg and dmg to enemies by a huge amount. Would’ve been nice to see a gameplay of ng+ using the build.
@@fnclown808 considering ng+ gives enemies a bump to their moral and defenses and hp.. this build will probably need a huuuuuuge investment with good modifiers
things such as damage amplification, lowering enemy resistances and/or more damage... this is probably gonna be wonky on ng+ if workable at all, for someone who likes magic and is still progressing yeah its decent

Cause you're supposed to have more than the boss. I've tried to help players with bosses but 50% of the time we would die cause many won't try to find the check points and try to rush to the boss. Only for us to do shit damage and get 1-2 shot.
@@andrejules9154 you don’t have to but it helps. The big thing here is that people see big numbers and don’t see the big picture. Sounds like the people you are trying to help need help beyond what any of us can offer. Also you take in to account weakness as well. Lots of people don’t want to change their phase type cause they are set in it. I mean yeah you may have fire and do good damage ….but why not take advantage of the build sets feature and use something super effective and make the fight easier. Keep gaming man , and lose those guys that keep rushing

My biggest tip for console. Switch R2 and L2. So you can use wizard and Martial arts a lot easier cause it’s not on the same finger.

They should add an "ominous chill" for each element. "Thunderheads" could make a cloud of thunder that drops lightning bolts, and the earth could have "High Magnitude Quake" Metal could have "Lingering Smog Cloud"
you can actually make the same think with the same fire spell (the one on the top right)
But would this work against Liu Biu or Zhang Rhang? Lol I tried a build similar to this against both and it didn't work I just had to beat them with just sheer skill bcuz they don't sit still long enough to get hit by an ice barrage

Me in 2 or 3 swipes . I don’t get the wizardry stuff . I tried to activate a flame sword and amplify but it won’t activate ! Help anyone ? What am I doing wrong .
How the heck would you get the same armor effects for each piece without embedding? The build isn’t worth the farming lol
I have wizardy build set that do 920 to 1100 on buff and 600 to 700 without buff 483 water
so this build was really fun to play through the regular game as i definitely used a similiar build (stopped metal @ 30, rest is the same except i got water up to like 65?). It is challenging as you dont have a lot of armor and you have to get pretty far through a mission to get your spells to really be powerful. This build is good tog et through levels if you sneak around and one shot everyone, but once you get into like multi on one combat or boss fights its sucks because it is WEAK 1x1 (aside from Lu Bu both forms and Sun Jian and other fire bosses, this build is fucking OP and I think the easiest way to beat Lu Bu)
When it came to NG+ i would get molly wopped with this build. It would get one shotted by every boss if you fuck up. Fucking Taote, Aoye, Zhang Rang and Dong Zhuo were such pains in the ass to get through with this build in NG+. It took me like 10-15 times to get through Zhang Liang at the beginning too. Went back with my updated longbeard armor fire and earth build with b agility and dual halberds, and beat the shit out of those bosses.
All in all I know this was early when this build came out, just wanted to give my honest experience about it. All in all, really cool build!
Luckily there's a load out system.
That's my build have it all 5* and I'm 89 water virtue

Has this been patched or am I missing something? When I used the ice spell the fire buff instantly vanishes
The buff is consumed when you cast a spell, it only applies to one cast, so you need to reapply it

just to be clear this only works great against things that arent resistant to water or magic. as it was shown against the boss and hong jing fight this build is useless. also to point out for the opening fight he is moral 25 (max moral and OP at that point) the mid boss is moral 15. any build would do massive damage at that point.
the build is good but youre not going to be erasing everything with ease every time.

The Tianzhu hermit set does a pretty good impression, you can get it by maxing affection with Hong Jing.
@@williamjohnson5022 Yeah I use that set, really like the fashion and beating stuff with staves. I went back and just farmed this boss. Dude dropped 5 star swords twice in a row but won't drop a 4 star headpiece.

Really just use earth spell the one where u need at least 8 in earth absolutely shits on him and every boss in the game makes the game a joke

Very good you can also cancel his fire by throwing ice on him and cancel it by applying ice on your weapon

New game+ add a set for each virtue,water has a set that after you deflect a crital attack,actions that would require spirit, dont require spirt.I dont know for how long because it's very hard to farm any of the virtue sets because they role randomly on non set rarity 5 star items and there are about 7 or 8 sets that can drop.
It's when you do a fatal strike you get 5 seconds of free spirit, it starts counting down as soon as the damage is dealt so you lose a second by time the animation has finished
My armor is a bit different. Ice power, chill accumulation, damage to chilled enemies, spirit damage (to blocking)
Why no water dmg 3%? It increase ominous dmg too no? Wizardy water spells dmg?

The major downfall with wizardry builds is that they are not good on human bosses, but since most bosses are demons anyway it really offsets that.
I've been rocking wizardry builds the whole game and humans are just as weak it's just they move around ALOT so you have to play different then just sit back and spam.
@Turtle Dish yea I've done damage too humans demons are just bigger targets that are easier too hit since most of their moves are AOE and keep them in place, humans bounce all over the place
@Turtle Dish basic human mobs of course, but human bosses you may as well just not use wizardry at all. Especially the when it comes to the heavy hitting spells, which are all wide multi-hit.
