I have 3 cats. They bring more happiness to my life than I could have imagined. They all have very distinct personalities and quirks. But they all get and give unconditional love.

Adopt a second cat. They are so much happier with a companion. I adopted my first Cat Olly in December 2022. He was found with a really badly broken back left leg so we were asked to keep him indoors to stop him injuring it again. We adopted Rocket a little 3 legged girl. Sadly she lost her back right leg in an accident and it wasn’t able to be saved. We walk them both outdoors on their harnesses which they love. Olly is now 21 months old and Rocket is 18 months old. They are so happy together ❤ from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
By FAR the best toy for a cat is another cat, so I'd seriously consider getting a second one, usually younger females are a safe bet but consider this with other people in real life

My Goodness - when I mentioned the ‘Mom’ - I meant the ‘Human Mom(s)’ - saying how Special these Human Moms were, knowing little details about their Furry little babies..! I never meant to exclude God or Jesus or Any or All the Angels in Heaven..! Now the Reality is - there are Many who hold their dear pets as Family Members and I personally don’t find anything wrong with that.! HAHA! Yes, I remember a cat we had growing up that considered a toy stuffed tiger as a litermate. He did similar wrestling, the "rabbit punches", etc. But this takes it to a whole new level! As always, The Dodo has fascinating individual animals stories that demonstrate the love and cooperation that the animal kingdom has. The human "kingdom" could learn a lot from these lessons....if only we would pay attention closely with some humility.
OMG what a beautiful babies can never have to many cats in my opinion as long as they get along. Have had many in my life, the last one died at the old age of 22. I have found that long haired cats are nicer than short haired. TY for sharing your babies with us

I got my female cat a soft dragonfly toy when she was a little baby. She's 15 now and still carries it around 'talking' to it each day as if its her actual baby. She doesnt wrestle or bite it, just carries it in her mouth making little mewling sounds....so cute! 😊
My older cat whas the same. Playing all day with stuffed animals. 1 month ago i saved a Little black cat and tried to see how She will react. From 1st day they are inseparabile. Now i am the 3rd weel, but happy that She has a sister and companion in playing.
I had a cat that I adopted when she was 5 weeks old. I gave her a beenie baby that was the same size as her. She loved it all her life. As she got older, even after I had more cats, she would carry that Beenie Baby like it was her own baby. When she would put it down, she would whine at it and talk to it when I wasn't looking. She did it for 20 years, and laid with it. She passed away a lil' over a year ago just prior to making it to 21 years old. She loved her Alroy Beenie!

I had a girl cat who used to carry around a skein of yarn like it was her baby. She'd meow "look what I got" and I'd have to pet it. She used to carry it around EVERYWHERE. Then she grew out of it.... I'd say "sasha, where's your baby"? and she'd tear around the house looking for it then bring it to me.
The way Theo had his paw on Zelda while he was grooming her like, "Hold your head still girl." 😂
We just got 2 new kitties Jimmy and Otis. Their big brother Chester will hold them down, “hold still while I lick you.”
