What the hell did they do to the diesel motors? Look at all that shit they put underneath them. All that EPA shit on the new diesels today are nothing but a waste of money, waste of engine power, and a big waste of fuel. I'll take diesel over gasoline anyday if I can afford it. Brand new diesel, it's gotta have the DPF/EGR delete. Diesel burns a lot cleaner than gasoline but they put more DEQ regulations on diesels. DEQ is fucking HORSESHIT!
Hahaha!!!! Go hug a tree! DieselStop keep the videos running! I used to be a GM tech and love the D-Max but there is nothing in the world like a 12valve Cummins! I am already keeping my eyes out for an old 5.9 motor. Also going to be purchasing a Cummins this spring. Can't wait!
Had a friend with a 2012 3500 that deleted his egr stuff and purchased a complete 5 inch exhaust and also got H & S Performance programmer. He is now pushing 600 hp and between 1100 and 1200 ft lbs of torque. Regular cab, long bed, dually, manual trans, and already 25,000 miles on the performance upgrades. truck has 28,000 miles on it.
Nice job boys! Great video too. I'm picking up a 2011 Ram 3500 in the next week or so. Probably go with the DPF delete next spring. Other than a pain in the ass to do, all in all you make it look very doable. What did you do with the left over wire terminations? Just tied them up out of the way? Doesn't the Computer go nuts with no input? or does the chip take care of that?
That was awesome guys! Is it me or did it actually sound quieter? Did pick up a Nice low rumble. I gonna start shopping for parts. Comes next summer... Delete time! My ol'93 RAM used to get 24-30 mpg. This sucker get around 11MPG and thats driving easy. Love this truck but mileage has to get improved!
As long as you have a tuner they say. So that it tricks the ecm into thinking it still has a dpf, but it never needs to go into regeneration because there is no dpf.
Nice video. We have a few dodges for company trucks. I wounder how much weight was taken off the truck with all that crap. With our company trucks it would be nice to do the delete with stock exhaust and detune it to around 300hp,/500tq to keep the the mpgs up. With the delete and de-tune 400k miles out of the engine should be easy with proper maintenance.
They gotta figure a way to do without the EGR and DPF and DEF crap from the factory. Basically you are taking a vehicle that without that crap would get double the MPGs and last twice as long.
Glad I have my 95, that's a lot of work and money. I did my exhaust and air intake for little more than a few hundred bucks in less than three hours. Did you find out what kind of millage it had afterwards?
That is a DEF/UREA tank because this truck is a chassis cab. Notice the C channel frame. The regular 3500 HD pickups all use the hydroformed box frame.
What did you do with all the electrical. and could you possibly do a 12v egr delete. I came across the Cali model.... need to get rid of i but not sure on the vacuum lines
I have a high output 6.7 and I think it looks different than that one . I didn't see any other fill tank for the emissions and it's a 2012 model 4x4 long bed. Am I right or am I missing something ?
I Love your work and thanks for all your videos they give a lot info for people like me who don't know much. Are you going able to help me????????? I got a Dodge 2007 6.7 L any recommendations to crank up the fuel mileage I love the sound of over 20 M/g. Please full info will be highly appreciate it such as parts I need and place to get them from. A 1000s thanks Bravooooooooo to THE DIESEL STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How did the transmission hold up with that 250hp tune? I'm looking at a new truck right now, 2010 6.7 and would like to get a tuner along with some other upgrades. Intake, exhaust, DPF/EGR delete etc.
Hey guys just watched the video and im curious about the fact off all those wires unplugged underneath, do they throw codes on the dash like the check engine or anything like that?
what happens when you only put a dpf delete? the reason im asking is im trying to buy a truck that has one but at idle the truck smokes white diesel smoke should i be concerned?
looking at getting an 08 cummins. with h&s chips off the market is it still possible to delete the dpf and egr crap and have a 100% straight piped truck?
nice video man - i wish i could do the same I got a 2013 Duramax nice truck but live in Ontario Canada, i wanna to remove all these EPA junk pile so bad my truck is a daily driver and work truck
what tank did u remove from the under side of the truck? what fuel mileage did u get? and u probly would of gotten better than 10.3 on fuel mileage if that airfilter was changed :P
is it necessary to remove the downpipe / downpipe converter ??? i was just gonna do a dpf and cat delete . but found out the down pipe has a cat or something too .
since they had the programmar not lights probably came on, because the programmer pretty much sends the signals to your ecm saying everything is as it should be.
so 1700$ in just parts to? with the exhaust included in that price? Listen I have a 2009 3500 6.7L and I would like to remove the stock exhaust and replace it by a 5" straight pipe, but some people told me it will not sound very good because of the DPF in the exhaust? Can you clarify this for me please? Do I need to do everything you did in the video to get a good sounding exhaust?
Well bud here in Oklahoma things are different. Smog/DPF/EGR means absolutely dick here. but in Pensacola, Florida I am sure thing are different. Some states have strong emissions & other states have none. As far as it goes with the dealer there seems to be no problem so far.
That kit is not including the exhaust system is it? Like soup to nuts, 1700 for everything? I dont know why i even ask now, bc you cant find these kits anywhere. Im in NY, and they are pretty stiff on their laws. Love to find a shop to do this for me. I have a 07 dually with the 6.7. I get 10 mpg normal, but pulling trailers, its like 7. It has power, but its so restricted its not funny. I have to open her up. Its killing the engine with that crap on it.
Ya no shit BUD!!! You made the comment and were talking about the warranty & what was covered. As I said before this is a off road truck. So go cry else were if you want to hug a tree.
if you dont have a turbo and a upgraded fuel system then around 500hp is what your looking at. and i know its possible! its just you can only get so much with so much.
you should take that mahle build and bolt up an alison tranny that would be bad ass. and if he's going max tune is he going to beef up the trans? adding all that power and ft pounds to a transmission not designed for it will burn it up at some point. might take a bit but it will effect it.
LOL ok here we go with the ford thing on a cummins video,,, I have owned many powerstrokes everything from the early 6.9 & 7.3 & 6.0 & yes the 7.3 was the best made out of the international powerstroke,,, So now lets go back to the 2nd part of your comment,, I like the sound of the new 6.7 but it just so happens most of my suff is early 12 valve cummins.
WOW good buy emission controls at least the engine can run like an engine now!!!! still hear MOPAR is building steller transmisions wow shifts just as sloppy as an old A518 and that was 20 years when i worked on cummings at dodge. Nice ride bet the millage comes way up..
Well, bud, wether here in Florida or in Oklahoma, it is illegal to use a dpf/egr delete in a vehicle that is going to be for ON ROAD USE in all 50 states, now if the vehicle is going to be used strictly for OFF ROAD USE ONLY than that is fine also I don't know if the state of Oklahoma does emissions testing on vehicles every year or not but that will get the attention of the people doing the testing
the 96 f350 7.3 i had was a beast but i dont watch this vid to brag about it i know it wasnt for power (well it was for a little more) mainly for more mpg. I honestly think the 6.7 sounds like ass compared to the 5.9 im sure you can agree on that.
sounds amazing after the deletes...smoother & more powerful!
I wish I could have this done on my 2014. Awesome fellas!
EPA: "Where's the emissions equipment?"
TheDieselStop: "I don't know. Perhaps someone stole it all in the middle of the night."
nice job clean tune definitely worth it on a brand new truck
Hahaha!!!! Go hug a tree! DieselStop keep the videos running! I used to be a GM tech and love the D-Max but there is nothing in the world like a 12valve Cummins! I am already keeping my eyes out for an old 5.9 motor. Also going to be purchasing a Cummins this spring. Can't wait!

@Lyle Ocker yeah good dpf-r it's an emulation system that makes your truck think it has a stock exhaust on it
Another great job thank you for the vid and the ride
nice work buddy . i think you and NMHP
almost got me talked into getting a diesel truck next time :)
It doesn't smoke like I thought it would but that is good tuning. If it hazes then its just right.
Watching your vids really make me hate driving gassers lol. Be well bro.
Love this truck but mileage has to get improved!
so did the mpg change? if so, by how much? how much does a job like this cost?
As long as you have a tuner they say. So that it tricks the ecm into thinking it still has a dpf, but it never needs to go into regeneration because there is no dpf.

soot cooker... that's a good one lol havnt heard that before
will you keep us posted on the MPG after the delete keep up the good work
Did you have to remove the cross member for the trans, in order to remove and install the down pipe ???
Glad I have my 95, that's a lot of work and money. I did my exhaust and air intake for little more than a few hundred bucks in less than three hours. Did you find out what kind of millage it had afterwards?
That is a DEF/UREA tank because this truck is a chassis cab. Notice the C channel frame. The regular 3500 HD pickups all use the hydroformed box frame.
Did you have to drill any holes in the pipe for an O2 sensor or did you just not put them back in ?
What did you do with all the electrical. and could you possibly do a 12v egr delete. I came across the Cali model.... need to get rid of i but not sure on the vacuum lines
Why did you drop the tank and what was that dpf pump?
@TheDieselStop how did you get to the bolt on the right side of the egr cooler, I can't break it loose
I'm curious what kind of results you get from just doing the EGR delete and leaving the DPF.
I have a high output 6.7 and I think it looks different than that one . I didn't see any other fill tank for the emissions and it's a 2012 model 4x4 long bed. Am I right or am I missing something ?

Bravooooooooo to THE DIESEL STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
did you remove the transmission crossmember to get the downpipe out ??
where do you support the transmission?
How did the transmission hold up with that 250hp tune? I'm looking at a new truck right now, 2010 6.7 and would like to get a tuner along with some other upgrades. Intake, exhaust, DPF/EGR delete etc.
Not having all the evap and other emissions sensors plugged in did it cause any codes with the ecm? It looked like the light was on in the dash.
Sounds good!
Yes & No problems what so ever.
After all that what was the avg mpg?
19 to 21 now
did the engine light come on after? I've heard allot of stories about the engine light staying on after doing a delete job.
Hey guys just watched the video and im curious about the fact off all those wires unplugged underneath, do they throw codes on the dash like the check engine or anything like that?
have you guy been running the wild tune ??
no head gasket problems ??
Is any of this stuff illegal in America or Europe the stuff from the first vid too???
what happens when you only put a dpf delete? the reason im asking is im trying to buy a truck that has one but at idle the truck smokes white diesel smoke should i be concerned?
looking at getting an 08 cummins. with h&s chips off the market is it still possible to delete the dpf and egr crap and have a 100% straight piped truck?
nice video man - i wish i could do the same
I got a 2013 Duramax nice truck but live in Ontario Canada, i wanna to remove all these EPA junk pile so bad
my truck is a daily driver and work truck
what would you get a cummins or a duramax?
Sounds good.
Is this what brings up the P0471 code on the check engine light?
It sure woke it up.
Beautiful farm country, were is that?
what tank did u remove from the under side of the truck? what fuel mileage did u get? and u probly would of gotten better than 10.3 on fuel mileage if that airfilter was changed :P
my dads got a 08 and we are gonna do this to it soon how do you make it roll more coal because the truck in this video didnt really roll alot of coal
is it necessary to remove the downpipe / downpipe converter ???
i was just gonna do a dpf and cat delete . but found out the down pipe has a cat or something too .
Did either of these delete kits set any continuous DTC's?
bad ass for a work truck!
how much coolant do you gotta drain if any to do the egr delete ???
We will just get the beer sponsored.
How many man-hours do you figure the conversion took?
You should come down to help build the custom dash for my Mahle project. I will buy the beer ;-)
Impressive! Needs more black smoke though.
pros and cons of doing a erg/dpf delete?
what exhaust is that?
Well done...
since they had the programmar not lights probably came on, because the programmer pretty much sends the signals to your ecm saying everything is as it should be.
Would this pass the emissions test without the DPR?
Hell just for a field truck, 10.3 isn't that bad. Any word on what he's gettin' now?
so 1700$ in just parts to? with the exhaust included in that price?
Listen I have a 2009 3500 6.7L and I would like to remove the stock exhaust and replace it by a 5" straight pipe, but some people told me it will not sound very good because of the DPF in the exhaust? had also gotten the H and S intake and boost tube.
Could you buy one and do it yourself? Or don't you have the workshop to be doing that kind of stuff?
how much did this cost to do, parts & labor?
It is like a totally different truck.
Thanks.
Any issue with passing smog?
You in north Dakota?
is that city or highway, the new mileage.
No doubt the tree huggers is choking the hell out of them now days.
That kit is not including the exhaust system is it? Like soup to nuts, 1700 for everything? I dont know why i even ask now, bc you cant find these kits anywhere. It has power, but its so restricted its not funny. I have to open her up. Its killing the engine with that crap on it.
you happen to know how much weight in unnecessary parts were removed??
thats a hell of a farm truck now!!! lol
I think you miss the whole point bud. This is a stock truck & the video was about doing the delete kit NOT building a 750 hp truck.
on my way :)
you should take that mahle build and bolt up an alison tranny that would be bad ass. and if he's going max tune is he going to beef up the trans? adding all that power and ft pounds to a transmission not designed for it will burn it up at some point. might take a bit but it will effect it.
This truck had no cat in the down pipe. I hear that some do have it myself.
did you take the cat out off
LOL ok here we go with the ford thing on a cummins video,,, I have owned many powerstrokes everything from the early 6.9 & 7.3 & 6.0 & yes the 7.3 was the best made out of the international powerstroke,,, So now lets go back to the 2nd part of your comment,, I like the sound of the new 6.7 but it just so happens most of my suff is early 12 valve cummins.
He is getting around 18 now.
Pain in the ass maybe but it goes like hell now !!
Thats why it has a cake box on the bed ;-)
How does the 6.7 with the EGR/DPF compare to the 5.9?
is this your work truck
LOL I will let you be the first to comment on the next video.
i guess i would get whatever you guys told me :)
thats why i dont comment often ,
i dont know what im talking about when it comes to diesels . lol
WOW good buy emission controls at least the engine can run like an engine now!!!! still hear MOPAR is building steller transmisions wow shifts just as sloppy as an old A518 and that was 20 years when i worked on cummings at dodge. Nice ride bet the millage comes way up..
EFI live is the way to go I was told....
how much does this cost?

your buying the beer ??
man, this project just went over budget :)
