Kingrinder 6 includes (in the package) a small rubber ring that holds the handle and the little plastic cover together. It makes the device MUCH easier to use. The instructions are rather clear about this.
I have the same machine. I tamp without using dose ring. Instead, I use a grind size that limits how compacted it can be tamped. It works well. It's fine like table salt but not fine like talcum powder. I know people say "grind finer", but too fine with a light tamp can cause channeling, and poor extraction.
Have you noticed any difference in daily use between the new and old versions of the K6? I saw your video on it and curious if you've noticed anything since
according to my experience, 1 round and 45 clicks for V60, 1 round for Aeropress, 2 rounds and 30 clicks for french press. However, these settings do change according to the water temperature and roast levels of your beans. For higher temperatures, more clicks are okay; for less roasted beans, fewer clicks are okay.

Should i usethe same grind size if I have a K4 with a Picopresso? Thanks for the great video btw
I guess you'd better choose your setting based on the flow speed of your espresso, a 25 second flow would be a healthy setting

The new is several clicks ahead of the old, like 4 or 5 clicks. Say 45 clicks on the new one equals 40 clicks on the old one.
hi . I have got K6. Would you advice how many clicks used for v60, aeropress and french press? Thanks

@@RanLinlayrian thank you so much 🙏🙏
Nice video but that shot looks horrible, sorry.
Did you just throw brown powder on the floor in your house? 😂
Nah...This is my office desk. I wipe things off after the mess.
The grind was to coarse man..
I know... Already changed my grinding setting to 38 clicks.
K6... I have mine on about 32. 45 (per vid) is way too big.
