I dug this review. I’ve watched a lot. Yours sounds practical & sensible. I also don’t know why one wouldn’t just pour the coffee out immediately. I did read that starting with hot water reduces the chance of bitter coffee as you end up cooking it for less time. Looking forward to getting started once mine arrives. Thx for the video!

Came back to post at 1:50 is my favourite part and always gets me chuckling. I have a 1cup and a 3cup. My 3cup holds 15g of coffee powder and around 130-140g of water. My little one is probably around 100g of water and g of coffee powder. I use the 3cup due to us Americans prefer more coffee. I like more because of taste. I know 1-12 cup Moka pots are based on Italy measurements.
It took me awhile to realize the “cup” was not the standard measurement but based on Italys espresso measurement. I think a lot of people still are confused by that and I wish I would have covered that in the video.
Yeah which is why it's not uncommon to dilute the coffee down with hot water to taste. I like to use a 3 cup moka pot and then fill up my thermos with hot water the rest of the way at about a 1:1 ratio and can sip on it all the way until lunchtime.

I use a 6-cup Bialetti to make one mug of coffee and keep it as simple as possible. Just use the funnel to measure out the coffee, use an ancient grinder, then put the pot on the stove. Never had a bad coffee from it.
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee One thing I forgot to add. I also use a heat diffuser because I have a gas cooktop. The diffuser keeps the coffee from getting scorched while brewing, helping to eliminate the bitter taste. Thank you for your reply. 👍
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee more often than not, I don't get that smooth flowing brew. it spits out a bit. what's usually causing that? too much coffee in the filter?
I don’t think it would be to much coffee. It is most likely the heat. Adjust the temp down after a bit of time or right when you see it come out. It takes some experimenting to find the right amount of heat. I turn my heat down a bit towards the end to mitigate the pressure being so high. That will give a nice easy flow upward instead of spraying out. Don’t get discouraged if it takes a few times to find that sweet spot. Good luck!
How to chose the right size of moka pot? Is 2 cup size enough for one person or should I go for 3 cup size? What is the size of yours? Great video, thanks a lot! 😊🥰
Mine is the 6 cup. One thing to remember with the Moka pot is 1 cup is equal to about 1.5 ounces. The cups are not the US standard measurement. That confuses people sometimes.
You would need to get one of the bigger Moka pot units to make enough or buy two smaller ones and run them at the same time. You can just split it and add extra water to each cup to personal liking. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy it buddy!
Hey thank you for the video~! Im using timemore c2 grinder, im doind 12 clicks for a while now fore medium roasted coffee. Should i go finer? or coarser? Im using as well a Bialetti brikka new model, should i use hot water or cold as the manual ? thank you!
I usually do 11 clicks on mine. I use cold water just because it is easier to deal with. I have tried the hot water method and honestly in a blind taste test I can really tell the difference. I pull it off the stove pretty early before it starts to sputter though now. Thanks for watching buddy!
This one is a 6 cup. For these devices one cup is 1.5 ounces. So it can get confusing. A 6 cup Moka pot will do about 9 ounces of coffee. Truly appreciate you watching buddy!
Haha glad to hear my friend! It gets better over time. It’s a tough one to get right the first time. The coffee gets better too! Haha Thanks for watching my friend!
I like your style brother, watched some hipster turkeys talking about the 'proper' way to make moka coffee. Ya dang right it is my coffee; I'm gunna make it how I want and drink it how I like. Keep on keep'n on man. Great tips, great video.
I just bought a 12 cup so I can make basically 2 cups I can take to work. This thing never has a steady stream, it is constantly "coughing" so I have to keep the lid on so it doesn't make a mess. Any tips?
Your heat is to hot. Turn the heat down little by little and eventually you will find a sweet spot where it trickles at a good flow. Once it gets low on water it will start to cough and I pour it at that point. The little bit of coffee left will just start to turn your cup bitter. Hope that helps buddy!
I use regular coffee filters, cutting them to fit the basket size then wet the filter snd put on the bottom of the receiving chamber. I also boil the water in the bottom chamber, then turn the heat all the way down so i can drop the basket in, the go back to medium heat after tightening the top. Turn the heat to low once the coffee first starts filling the chamber. I also do not find it necessary to cool the lower chamber to stop the brewing. As long as you brew it slowly there wont be a strong gurgle at the end.
I've been looking at alot of reviews for a moka pot. This one is by far the most informative. A straight forward review with none of the hipster/barista pretentious bs! Liked, commented and subscribed!
Thanks so much buddy!! I truly appreciate you watching and glad it was helpful! I try to keep it fun as possible. Maybe one day I will be as hip as the hipsters! Haha
This dude looks a really nice person. I still don’t have one of this mokat pot but I definitely will buy one. I’m curious to try this taste. I love coffee, specially using French press. Thanks for the video. Was indeed really helpful!!!
What a nice comment Fernando! The Moka pot is a fun device to use. It’s such a different taste than all the other brewers. Truly appreciate you watching and hit me up with any questions when you get one!
Ya the Brikkas look cool. Def have a more modern appeal. I think if I get another one I will try and get a stainless version. But they are probably pricey. The Moka Pot is fun to plan on but it definitely is a different taste than all the pour over styles. Took me a good while to find a method I liked.
I like your attitude towards coffee making cuz that’s ultimately what we are all here for and why we care about coffee in the first place.. on a side note: I think you technically shouldn’t put the aluminium ones (like yours) in the dish washer as they oxidise.. however, if the flavour doesn’t suck who am I to tell you what to do ;)
Haha! You are correct my friend. I found out the hard way. I truly appreciate you watching and thanks for the kind words! Cheers to better coffee and good attitudes!
I enjoyed the video thoroughly and it was just what I needed (in light of the close winter holidays). But I'm only learning English, so I was kind of curious about your accent😅What kind is it?
Hey! Thanks so much for watching! I am from Louisiana so it is what I guess people would consider a "souther" accent mixed with a possible "cajun" sound. IDK.. lol Heck I am still trying to learn English to it seems. What about you, where are you from?
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee Thanks for the response! I myself am Ukrainian and there's little to no foreigners here at all, so I don't have much practice with recognising accents. Yours is really cool though, that I can say even without much experience. Have a nice day! 😌
Thanks for the info on using a moka pot. I’m using pour over right now, but I have been looking to try out different methods of brewing and I was curious about a moka pot. I’ve never seen one used.
Well I be durned! You may be a long lost cousin on great great great Jimmy’s side! Haha ya the Moka pot is unique and it honestly brews a unique flavor. Some people have a hard time distinguishing between the different brewing devices but the Moka pot provides a very unique taste. Hip me up with any questions cuz!
Loved the vid, very clear and informative. I just bought one of these and excited to brew with it. There's one thing that's bugging me a little , the instruction manual of the ones i bought (same brand; bialetti 300ml) says not to wash with detergent, i think that means no soap right?
I don't really worry about it. Wack some fresh, fine ground coffee in there and put it on low. Wait for it to start making a noise and then pour it straight into the cup and down that bad boy. Great vid!
I’m using the Timemore Chestnut Slim with the E&B burrs. Good little grinder. It is in the description of the video I believe. I’m wanting to say it’s around $125 now.
I'm still having problems with mine ... Always splurting hahaha But I'm on my 1st week of Moka Pot making so far I like the super bitter taste. I love black coffee.
Just got this video recommend to me and after watching I happily subscribed to the channel! Also picked up that grinder as I had been look for a good quality one for espresso beans for my moka pot! Thanks for sharing.
No problem buddy! I truly appreciate you checking it out! I have really enjoyed the Timemore grinder and after looking at some double the price I just can’t see the value added in the Commandant unless I’m missing something! Haha Thanks so much for watching buddy and truly appreciate you subscribing!
It’s a fun device especially if you are roasting your own coffee and playing around with different roasts. Loved your video to with the pop corn roaster. Thanks for watching buddy and thanks for the advice on the thumbnail!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee Shared it to Facebook, my friends loved you and your down to earth manner too. I'm trying to get them to level up to espresso. Moka is a good start!!
It is indeed! It is defiantly a good step into espresso. After using the Moka pot for awhile it developed my taste for straight espresso where I actually truly enjoy it plain now. Had one this weekend and it blew me away. Thanks so much for sharing!
I would say more on the espresso side. It’s pretty strong and most will mix it with something. Lighter roasted coffees (to me) are enjoyable straight but if it get darker roasted I would add some milk or something.
No tamping. I've heard moka pots create approximately 2 bars while espresso machines are in the 9 range. So the water at 2 will flow thru everything pretty evenly with a loose puck.
Love your style! “You gotta like it” that’s all there is! Too many people measuring and weighing and laying down the law… Italian way is soul and passion, not science and data! Relax, drink, like it!!
I think the one I am using is technically the 6 cup pot but it only makes around 1 good cup of coffee. If I fill it up to the valve after brewing I have around 8-10 ounces of coffee. Hope that helps buddy and thanks so much for watching!
Just moved to Italy for a lil while and decided to try out a moka pot because “do like the Italians do.” I’m a fan of French pressed coffee, drip coffee, and I even had an espresso machine in the past. I wish I watched this first before trying. Went with another vid that mentioned to use hot water first. Well I did and almost burned my hands trying to put the top on. Even had steam come out from the side because the gasket didn’t seal properly. Next time I’ll use cold and see what happens.
haha ya you have to have some pot holders or heat resistant gloves. I have did some tests and the difference in taste is just not worth it to me. Hope you are enjoying your time in Italy. I am dying to go back. It has to be the most historically rich place I have ever been to. Walking the streets of Rome was mind blowing. I am a history nerd so it got me. Thanks for watching my friend!
I keep getting a fine ground texture but I'm pretty sure my coffee isnt too fine. Could it just be the quality of the coffee? I also need to try heating the water before actually putting the top on
I think that is pretty common with the Moka pot in general. Fine coffee grounds will rise up with the liquid when it is brewing and get in the upper chamber. The only way I have found to reduce that is to put a paper filter like an AeroPress filter on top of the coffee. It helps some but you still get some fines in it. Some cultures really like that and prefer it with some sediment. One of those to each their own things. If you find a better way definitely let me know!
I heard that if you have a larger moka pot but dont fill its porta-potty full of potent coffee grinds to the rim (lets say 16g of coffee for a 6 pot/330ml) then it would make sense to use an aeropress filter to kind of equalize the pressure a little for a better brew. Ive been brewing coffee with the pour over method for years but decided i wanted to try something like a moka pot. I havent slept for 3 days straight so its safe to say that i still have a lot of learning and tweaking to do.
Haha ya the Moka pot will pack a punch for sure! It is one of those devices with such a unique flavor you almost have to tweak all the small variables until you find what you like. It seems everyone has a slightly different way they like their coffee from the Moka pot. Thanks so much for watching and good luck mastering it!
Heck ya dude! It honestly may take some time to dial in and find a recipe you like but it’s just a classic and has a completely different taste than most brewers. Welcome to the Moka club and thanks for watching!!
As far as I know, there's no need to use soap on the Moka pot, just run it under warm water and use a soft sponge or even your finger. I only used something else to clean it when I bought my Moka pot. It was second hand and I put some citric acid and water and "brew" it once, dumped the liquid, then I repeated, this time only with water. Thinking back, it might not be a great idea to use any acid on the pot, but I wanted to give it a proper cleaning since someone else had used it before me.
Call video, I am far from a coffee connoisseur but I rock this pot out but I just called up my Cuban coffee pot👍🏽 I did not know anything about a mocha pot👍
Ya it was invented in Italy around WWII. I know it is huge in the Cuban community and traditions from what some people have told me. So much so that they call it the Cuban coffee pot! Haha thanks so much for watching my friend!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee interesting....thx! I live in Florida and so of course there's a pretty huge Cuban population here and I just always thought they were cute, but espresso gets me hopped right up!😂
Great tutorial! You should never put anything made of raw, un-coated aluminum in the dishwasher as the chemicals in automatic dishwasher detergent can “etch” the aluminum. What does the inside of the bottom of your moka pot look like? Hazy with dark spots? If so, it’s etched.
Thanks buddy. It doesn’t look bad on the inside. We use a very natural like soap so I don’t know how harsh it is. I haven’t done it sense it was brought to my attention though. I think the outside has a coating but after cleaning it up it doesn’t look like that was to bad affected. Def learned the hard way on this one! Haha thanks so much for watching buddy!
Bialetti said they designed the Moka to be a measuring cup, so you'll always get the perfect ratio of coffee to water if you fill the reservoir with cold or room temperature water to touch the bottom of the valve, and loosely fill the basket with medium-fine ground espresso and level it off with the rim, but don't press it down.
Yes indeed! I know it’s pretty common in Europe but especially like where I live many people have never even heard of it. Thanks for watching buddy and looking forward to speaking with you soon!
Rob you’re using a “4-6 cup” moka pot. If one uses the smaller “3 cup” pot, grind about 15 to 17grams of coffee. I put the sizes in quotes, cause the “cups” the Italians are talking about, are those tiny espresso demi-tasse.2oz cups.
haha thanks so much! Just watched your audition. You should definitely put out more videos if you have time with the piano and stuff. A niche like that could take off pretty quick on here. Thanks for checking out the video and have a great week!
Thanks so much! This is very encouraging and I plan to post more piano videos. Also thanks for the tips on the moka pot tips, I have made coffee primarily from my moka pot since watching your video, and I’m hooked!
A Moka Pot is a staple in Cuban household. It's how Cuban coffee is made. I have a few of different sizes. You can go just past (higher) than the valve with water. Don't worry, it won't blow up. Been doing it that way most my life (30 years). I brew a couple batches just before going to work daily. Make it just before going to sleep too. Oh and the Bialetti brand is the best. Make sure it's made in Italy. Will last years even with daily use.
Hey Joey! Thanks so much for the advice buddy!! You must drink the heck out of some coffee. Do you live in Cuba? I can’t wait to visit one day once everything gets back to normal! Thanks so much for watching my friend!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee Hey Rob! Nah... I live in Los Angeles. I've been to Cuba a few times though to visit family. When it comes to coffee, it's just cultural. They say you know you're Cuban if you've been drinking coffee as a toddler. Go to Miami and you see little coffee windows here and there where you can buy coffee by the shot.
Oh cool! My wife is from LA. We visit every other year or so. I have heard that before about Cuba but I didn’t know if it was true about toddlers and coffee. I mean hey, you gotta start drinking it sometime! Lol that’s cool man. Ya, I know it opened up to the US here awhile back but I don’t know if that is still the case. If I ever catch a window I want to visit. Hope all has been well out there and stay safe brother!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee Oh by the way, the pot that I use in the mornings (well most the time I use it) is the 1 Cup Bialetti Moka Pot. It's big enough for 2 shots of coffee (about 2 oz each) in case you wanted to share, or one big shot. 2 teaspoons of sugar is enough for the 1 Cup. I brew a batch when I get up in the morning and one before going to work, because I like it hot and fresh. I have the 3 cup Bialetti for when there's visitors. Just keep the metal strainer clean and clear (holes get plugged up). Sometimes the rubber gasket needs replacing when they get old. My grandma has a 6 cup monster that she has used for years. She brews a batch, puts it in a thermos and pours a shot every now and then and repeats when the thermos is empty. The Cuban coffee brands I use are La Llave, sometimes Bustelo. Lavazza coffee has an interesting flavor. I believe Lavazza is an Italian brand (I could be wrong).
Ya I have spoken to few Cuban people who drink the Lavazza. It’s crazy how many Cubans have reached out over this post. I’ve had about 5 now and they all have similar stories to yours. Family, coffee, memories and grandmas seems to be the consensus. Haha I love it!
Not my preferred during the week as it is time-consuming. But I do use it on the weekends. I don't know if could ever use just one brewing device now. Sometimes it is the V60 others the Aeropress. Thanks for the demo
No problem buddy! Truly hope you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee sooo I guess 3 cups are something like 130ml ~4.5 ounces. Thanks a lot, and for a fast response as well! Have a great day! 🥰
What's the best way to make a cup for my wife and I at the same time?
You would need to get one of the bigger Moka pot units to make enough or buy two smaller ones and run them at the same time. You can just split it and add extra water to each cup to personal liking. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy it buddy!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee OK cool, thanks for the reply!
How much Click for that grinder to mokapot?
Depends on the grinder but think I was using 10-11 on the slim with EB burrs.
What size pot is the one in your video? Thanks so much for your content! It was excellent!
This one is a 6 cup. For these devices one cup is 1.5 ounces. So it can get confusing. A 6 cup Moka pot will do about 9 ounces of coffee. Truly appreciate you watching buddy!
Today was my first time making my coffee with a moka pot and you got me through it! Thank you!
Haha glad to hear my friend! It gets better over time. It’s a tough one to get right the first time. The coffee gets better too! Haha Thanks for watching my friend!
Great review. I love my moka pot. Plus 1 for rockin’ that classic Polo 👍🏽
Or ‘guide i should say
Haha thanks buddy! I truly appreciate that! And thanks for watching!
How many clicks to set on the timemore sir to get that size?
I do 11 on the E&B burrs! Thanks so much for watching buddy!
I like your style brother, watched some hipster turkeys talking about the 'proper' way to make moka coffee. Ya dang right it is my coffee; I'm gunna make it how I want and drink it how I like. Keep on keep'n on man. Great tips, great video.
Some of us just want a good cup without all the pretension.
how do you get that cream man, please help a brother out
Fresh coffee and I have found to get good creams it depends on the roast level and type of coffee. What type of coffee are you using?
I just bought a 12 cup so I can make basically 2 cups I can take to work. This thing never has a steady stream, it is constantly "coughing" so I have to keep the lid on so it doesn't make a mess. Any tips?
Your heat is to hot. Turn the heat down little by little and eventually you will find a sweet spot where it trickles at a good flow. Once it gets low on water it will start to cough and I pour it at that point. The little bit of coffee left will just start to turn your cup bitter. Hope that helps buddy!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee Thank you! I'll try that
Awesome! You caught me working on a thumbnail so glad I could answer quick!
thank you for this video. I like your draft dude! How much do you grind on the handgrinder, and is there any good cheaper ones?
I use regular coffee filters, cutting them to fit the basket size then wet the filter snd put on the bottom of the receiving chamber.
I also boil the water in the bottom chamber, then turn the heat all the way down so i can drop the basket in, the go back to medium heat after tightening the top. Turn the heat to low once the coffee first starts filling the chamber.
I also do not find it necessary to cool the lower chamber to stop the brewing. As long as you brew it slowly there wont be a strong gurgle at the end.
Great review! As for for underwear. Once a day at home. But when traveling, every four; front then rotate 180, inside out, rotate 180 one more time .
Nice strategy my friend! I may have to test that method out! Haha thanks so much for watching buddy! Truly appreciate it!
how many clicks do you go on your timemore ?
About 10 on the E&B burrs. It may not be the traditional grind but that’s what I have found to like. I use lighter roasted coffee too.
New to Moka, just what I was looking for!
Welcome to the Moka club! Haha glad it was helpful and thanks so much for watching!
Yeah. I love using mokapot.. easiest way for my coffee although sometimes i do enjoy single origins with pour over.
Single origin pour over all week for me. Weekends I like to change it up and experiment!
what is the brand of coffee you are using?
That brand was “Revision Roasters”. It’s a dude from SoCal who is a veteran and he roasts on the bullet. www.revisionroasters.com
I use the filter trick too. It's a great way to make coffee.
Yes indeed! It def keeps some of the sediment down.
Love this video. Simple and hilarious. Made my day.
Haha heck ya! Glad to hear that! Hope you enjoy the Moka pot and thanks so much for watching!
I still have yet to buy a moka pot. I’ll be picking one up ASAP though.
Have you seen the new Bialetti Brikka pot with faux crema?
@H C nope those don’t oxidize but it will likely make your first couple coffees taste a bit like soap/detergent
hello. Cool vid
I was wondering what clicks you use on the timemore for making moka pot coffee. Thanks.
About 10 clicks on the stainless burrs. 9 on the E&B burrs. Depending on what you got. Thanks for watching my friend!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee cheers mate will give it a go (steel)
Haha I appreciate that! I hope you have a wonderful holidays as well!
I love my moka pot I use esspresso ground coffee, I've timed mine on medium heat for 12 minutes with esspresso packed, I make a Cappuccino with mine.
Nice!! I need to start experimenting more with it. I have heard so many good ideas from people sharing. Thanks so much for watching!
Your welcome, I only know from watching TH-cam videos, I'm still learning
Hi, nice vid! How many clicks you are using on timemore grinder?
On the E&B burrs I am using 10. Works good for my taste. Thanks so much for watching buddy!
love your videos as always mate!
keep posting please! fun and informative!
Thanks so much buddy! Truly appreciate the feedback and hope you have been well! Always appreciate you watching!
Great video. Thanks Rob!
No problem buddy and thanks so much for watching! Truly appreciate it!
Loved the vid, very clear and informative. I just bought one of these and excited to brew with it. There's one thing that's bugging me a little , the instruction manual of the ones i bought (same brand; bialetti 300ml) says not to wash with detergent, i think that means no soap right?
Yes do not wash it with soap in the dishwasher. It will remove the coating on the side. I learned the hard way. Lol
I don't really worry about it. Wack some fresh, fine ground coffee in there and put it on low. Wait for it to start making a noise and then pour it straight into the cup and down that bad boy. Great vid!
Haha my kind of coffee people! Yes indeed! Thanks so much for watching!
This is awesome! Thank you, very helpful!
Thanks buddy! Glad you found it helpful! Truly appreciate you checking it out and enjoy the Moka pot!
Thanks for this upload. It's a good guide to brewing this way and highly entertaining. You've got a new subscriber in me!
Well thank you so much!! I truly appreciate you watching and I am glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Which grinder you using?
I’m using the Timemore Chestnut Slim with the E&B burrs. Good little grinder. It is in the description of the video I believe. I’m wanting to say it’s around $125 now.
I'm still having problems with mine ... Always splurting hahaha
But I'm on my 1st week of Moka Pot making so far I like the super bitter taste.
I know I’ve got one of those around here somewhere...........or maybe it’s lost and I need a new one.
It’s a fun device especially if you are roasting your own coffee and playing around with different roasts. Loved your video to with the pop corn roaster. Thanks for watching buddy and thanks for the advice on the thumbnail!
Can i make one cup of coffe with moka pot for two cup? Or i must tu buy moka pot for one cup?
I never heard of the reducer filter but I am going to definitely check that out. I have been curious about this as well!
Using an aeropress filter is a good idea, it will create enough pressure to presumably create the crema.
Never thought of that! Thanks for sharing! I’m going to have to experiment with that soon. Truly appreciate you watching buddy!
Best Moka pot review ever.
Thanks so much! Really happy to hear that! I try to keep it as fun and strait forward as possible. Truly appreciate you watching!
Thanks so much for sharing!
does it taste more like espresso or regular drip coffee? also, do you tamp the grounds at all in the filter?
I would say more on the espresso side. It’s pretty strong and most will mix it with something. Lighter roasted coffees (to me) are enjoyable straight but if it get darker roasted I would add some milk or something.
No tamping. I've heard moka pots create approximately 2 bars while espresso machines are in the 9 range.
So the water at 2 will flow thru everything pretty evenly with a loose puck.
Love your style! “You gotta like it” that’s all there is! Too many people measuring and weighing and laying down the law… Italian way is soul and passion, not science and data! Relax, drink, like it!!
Yes!! Exactly! So many people get caught up in the data and that is fine but life and coffee is meant to be enjoyed! Thanks so much for watching!
I always stir the coffee in the Moka before serving.
Hi there, how many turns on your Timemore valve would you recommend going for?
I do mine at about 10 clicks with the EandB burrs. That’s what I have found is my favorite.
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee Thank you! I'll try between 10 to 14 and see which is better
Best of luck!!
Are you using the one cup pot?
We use in our moka cafe le llave espresso so good with lots of suger 🥰🇨🇺☕
Ya I have heard of a few ways that put a good bit of sugar in it. If it is a darker roast I have to as well. Tones down the bitter dark flavors.
Dude I literally just got one today. Great timing!
I def figured out the hard way! Ya, putting it in the dishwasher is not good. Truly appreciate you watching my friend and thanks for the advice!
@@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee what happened when you put it in the dishwasher?
The protective coating came off. After awhile it will tarnish.
You are right!

I live in Florida and so of course there's a pretty huge Cuban population here and I just always thought they were cute, but espresso gets me hopped right up!😂
It hops me up as well. The dosage of the "moka cuban pot" is pretty high. I think that is another reason. I cup from it will last you all day. haha
Please my Friend in my pot i can make 300ml of water.... But how much grammes of coffee ? Hoffmann said 1/10 ... Well 30grammes but its too strong :(
You can add extra water to dilute it down. It’s kind of a strong concentrate at 1/10.
A moka pot is what I started with when I discovered specialty coffee. Good times.
Yes indeed! I know it’s pretty common in Europe but especially like where I live many people have never even heard of it. Thanks for watching buddy and looking forward to speaking with you soon!
A,very nice and detailed. 'How to do' . 🎯
Tha is so much! Glad you found it useful and thanks so much for watching!
Exactly. Took me awhile to figure out the cups where not actual American cups but espresso shots. Haha
Love this guy!
Well hell ya! I love you back my friend! Thanks so much for watching!
@Rob, thanks for this video. 1st time I heard of a Moka pot 😄

No problem at all! Truly hope it was helpful and thanks so much for watching!
Definitely getting one now! This was the most authentic and entertaining coffee video I may have ever watched!
Is this your preferred brewing method??
Not my preferred during the week as it is time-consuming. But I do use it on the weekends. I don't know if could ever use just one brewing device now. Sometimes it is the V60 others the Aeropress. Love the Chemex and Kalita. Definitely enjoy the Moka pot on weekends though. Truly happy you enjoyed the video and hope you are having a great weekend!
