All Prices are for USA. And if they are $30 or under from Amazon/E-bay but not a kids bow they are either a now $33--$39 an all fiberglass bow that is cheap nylon fiberglass and 100% has to use the stick on/glue on bow plastic arrow shooting rests in now only 20,30, or 40 pounds , bow that is very cheap a POS flat bow that the wood riser is POS and the limbs are going fail where the odd glued on wide J hook tips, or last major model this one model of metal aluminum riser with the same bow limbs as the all fiberglass models. Also all these bows are either 54 inches or 50 inches measured with string on them/by the string. This price is just for the bow. I almost got a rare model of the all fiberglass $33--$39 at $33--$35 this one 45 pound bow since I wanted a fiberglass bow but I looked up the oldest sold model of the 20,30,40 pound bow from Amazon and found how poor the bow really was. If you do want an under 30 pound bow that is going to be good some of the Junxing bows from Amazon that they call wargame bows at 25 pounds, not the color riser model as they charge $99 and can get better reflex deflex bows for that price but the brand selling the all black models of this 25 pound Warbow made for a few games as shown in the product description and they are $59.98 to $62 for a recurve bow that is 54 inches and not an SAS Snake Bow at $67 or PSE Snake bow at $69 as those bows tend to have more reviews of the bow failing then does this Bow and not to mention the SAS Snake has this almost non existent thin riser that if not doing traditional archery next with the bow after the SAS is not worth getting or has quality control issues that 1/2 the SAS lineup is known for having and the PSE Snake has some quality control issues that are when they happen are very big issues.
Man that’s such an amazing bow. I’m going to have to add this to my collection, great job brother awesome review. You did this company well with this review. I can’t wait to order one. There’s nothing better than receiving a twisted bow. See The twist helps while putting it in the trunk of the car. Seriously tho, what the heck, I mean this could seriously hurt someone and thank you for this review. I love it how u call these companies out. Thank u bro. You probably saved someone’s bow hand. And helped new comers to archery out so much.
You can actually get Alibow's Turkish Fiberglass bow off Amazon, 80$ when I got it a year ago. It's up to 90$ now which is still a good price for such a good bow. Free shipping if you have prime. Highly recommend it to just about anyone who wants a cheap Asiatic bow. Was the bow I used to get use to thumb draw before grabbing a Kheshig, Ming, and Hankyu months later.
I bought the very same bow at 40 lbs. And its been great so far. I must've put at least 200 arrows through it so far and found no issues with it at all.
@@gunneryhoneybadger111 I don't use it as much as I use too since my Kaiyuan Ming is my goto rep bow. But I definitely put over a hundred arrows through it. It does it's job, might not be the prettiest bow, but it's gonna accurately put arrows in the target.
@Samsa çavuş archery Compared to most bows...not really. Of course price is subjective to the income of someone buying something. But in comparison, lets say someone is a gamer. The average video game is 60$, the bow cost only 30 more than that. Modern games are trying to normalize 70$, the bow is only 20$ more. Its a budget bow.
Just bought there Turkish bow 45 pds for 79.99. Waiting for it in the mail. Super excited. What are some good arrows you’d use for that poundage and bow?
Every Archer watching this was wincing as you drew that monstrosity of a Bow. You have our respect for being willing to take pain for the Tribe, happy shooting.
Let me tell you about these junk horse-bows. I bought one off of Amazon for $40.00, without shipping included. I ordered the #50 model. Once I got the bow and strung it up, it felt light. Put it on the draw weight scale and what do you know, it’s #35 @ 28”. What a buzzkill. I kept it for a while and used it mainly for target practice. Within 2 months the wrapping and glue came loose and the top limb started coming apart. I sold it to an archery student for $25. Not worth the money, i’ll stick to my self-bows, or a high-quality fiberglass horse-bow.
@@HistoricalWeapons I'm sorry to hear that brother your vids are great and you're a cool dude.. maybe you can work things out? Don't get too stressed about it. Shoot some bows👍
Btw if you plan on buying more of these potentially sketchy bows, it might be worth investing in a [cheapie $50ish] fencing mask for basic head protection. They can easily take a solid knock from almost all likely angles, and the full-face mesh + throat bib can protect from surprisingly small bits if it breaks (with capacity for protective glasses underneath if needed). They're also quick and easy to tilt up and out of the way when you need to resume speaking for a camera.
That bastard is actually twisted on both sides. Never seen that before 😂 And the tiny string loops don't help either. They should be longer for that bow design. But the biggest issue with this is that you can't even complain or report them. That's just an asshole move on their side.

Wow how scary! Hate that people buy these as theyre just being introduced into archery & not wanting to spend too much - or given it as a gift. Also you're right it would be so easy for a novice to string this backwards!
I'm lost on that. How exactly do you string this type of bow backwards? There are no string nocks on the back side of the bow, as it is not a flat tip. There should be no way to actually string it backwards. You could try, but you won't succeed. Or am I'm missing something here?
i would love to cover that topic, from my current limited research it seems the initial bows they used are self bows and later composite bows after alexander conquered persia. For the roman auxiliaries, it is quite dependant on geography and we have seen a wide variety of bows used by them
my selfmade bow ~30lb is also twisted, i shot it a lot but it did never destring itself. But the string nocks on my bow are on the sides and not on the back of the bow like yours, i guess that makes it more susceptible to destring.

Depends on what you're getting into. Are you doing thumb draw or 3 finger? For 3 finger you can't go wrong with Black Hunter or Samick Sage. Good beginner bows that can also be good intermediate bows. If thumb draw is what you wanna try first then Alibow has a Fiberglass turkish bow, as well I recall Historical Archery did a video about a low priced Hungarian Bow. Arrows will depend on your draw length, but 30 inch arrows are usually a good starting point, carbon fiber shafts, around 400 - 500 spine, gpp depends on draw weight. Depending on what part of the world you're fun would dictate where to buy the arrows. Amazon has a decent ones, some ebay arrows are solid, here in the states we have 3Rivers and Lancaster who sells everything needed.
$30 bow is cheap and PVC bow is better for the price. Even some of the $50 bows are crap. It needs to be around $70 to be worth anything from what I've seen friends get and tried a few of myself.
ive had many great cheap bows from ali, yes they break eventually but they are price, neve rhad twisted bow, maybe they gave u one that was shitty, 30 dollar yeah if they have that discount they are selling twisted bows, which is illegal it seems to me
Normal, 😅 the levers are as heavy as a chair leg. I'm sure it sticks and vibrates a lot. You must lighten the levers. For 35lbs you don't need that thick and strong
That is an awful, dangerous bow any even amatuer bowyer would be ashamed of. It should never have got further than the bin, let alone sold as a working bow. I'd be afraid at that degree of twist the siyahs would wrench off, so as soon as the twist got any worse I wish you'd stopped. If you are poor, you have to take the cheapest equipment to start(or learn to make your own if you have some skills), so don't you guys get too high & mighty about, "you get what you pay for," when some have no other option. The siyahs are only half finished, left square with only slightly rounded edges. Millenia of Chinese bowyers turning in their graves!
