Mate you're one heck of a presenter when it comes to things archery, thankyou for this information on this cheap but obviously good purchase for the expense.
Twist the string and shoot, continue this until your bow is at its most quiet. Measure brace height, that should be the brace height for your bow. Then go from there. String silencers limb liners. Those cheap factory strings may need alot of twists.
I have found this bow to really shoot well actually. Ive had a hoyt buffalo and gamemaster and this bow shoots just as well. Also my DL is 31" . It really shouldnt work for me at all but it works very well and takes 1st place at most 3d shoots i go to. Stay between 10-12 gpi and put some silencers on it and if you fill the hollow limb pockets with bathtub caulking it will also make it quieter. Bring brace height up to 8" also to quiet it and stop limb vibration
I figured it may have been better once I fixed it up. However when they’re that cheap some might come out good like the one you got, but I may have just been unlucky and got a more poorly made one.
I may at some point reorder one and see if it’s better. I also didn’t enjoy shooting the low poundage which may have affected my opinion since it was the first time shooting a bow under 45#
A good way to quite the bow and eliminate a lot of the vibration is to one where the limbs bolt in is to fill the pockets with a light weight foam or other material and then cover the material with a light weight thin leather and then bolt the limbs on plus add some bear hair where the bow string comes in contact with the limbs eliminating string slap on the limbs then add some string silencers like string leaches or bow wax then add a short vibration stabilizer. It works very well and can use the bow either a stand, blind,or hunt and stalk type hunt all work fine with this bow. Had mine for years until it was stolen from my truck.
I have that bow in 30lbs. The arrow rest is crap, use the shelf. I love this bow. I shoot it daily. I've purchased 5 other bows, this is still my fun go to bow.
@@c.m5043 it took a bit of time to figure out which arrows to get. The arrows I currently use are about 350 grain and 300 spine. I had to experiment a lot with different arrows and weights.
@@Qui-Dad-Jinn this is the sort of weight I was expecting, more like 300 grains or so. I was surprised I just can't find cheap amazon ones under 500grains!
The paint job isn't screwed up. They mark that spot with a marker in the factory to show that it has been inspected for installation of the insert. I work in an injection moulding plant and we do that in the QA (Quality Assurance)department.
Been wanting bow for very long time, but haven’t had money for one, tho now I do but I want the best of everything as usual. I had a few in mind but don’t know which one I should start with first. Was thinking of bamboo version bow. But I want to know from you, since your posture and balance of your shots are pretty good, which one for me as first timer would be good.
Black hunter longbow. Its fantastic. The you tube reviews are great check them out I love mine.Get the longbow so you don't have to worry about limb twist. That goes for any of them.
Oh yeah. I liked the riser, so if I wanted to I could replace the limbs and add a better string. It would probably shoot a lot better after that. However, I don’t know if it was an ILF riser.
Loved my samik sage when I had it unfortunately last Sunday I made a mistake amd my bow blew up and I had a bad injury that could have been fatal had my samik sage for three years and ill be going with it again when I get the money no injury will ever keep me from doing what I love that's just it
I’m glad to hear you’re okay. When a bow explodes like that it’s super dangerous. I have a Samick Sage and if it wasn’t for the high wrist grip I’d still use it to this day. I can’t shoot the high wrist grip bows as well as flatter low wrist grips, so sadly I don’t shoot it often. Although, it’s got me started and I shot it for 2+ year before I ever got another bow. Good luck to you and hope you heal up quick.
This bow is a f179, made by junxing, but rebranded by many different vendors. Vibration from a hand tap, does not necessarily mean anything. This guy is young and doesn't necessarily understand or know the differences between good and bad, when it comes to the bottom line. Bottom line being: IF IT SHOOTS GOOD, IT IS GOOD. ESPECIALLY FOR HUNTING.
I just g to a cheap bow from Amazone, think its Monsour Archery 51", with NO directions. Tried following yours but there are some differences and pieces I have no clue. Are there other online directions for these kits that are more detailed?
I’m not for sure. They may have more information in the product description on Amazon, or they might have a website. It depends on what pieces you’re referring to.
I’d say if you quiet it down and put a nice string on it’d shoot pretty nice. I realized last year just how much a string can change a bow. Took my Bear Ausable to a whole new level.
I would however, I reviewed a new one recently that’s only 119$ and I would definitely recommend it. It’s one of the most recent videos on the channel.
@@feelthespiritofthewild Thanks for the recommendation and I saw the Video.😊 The bow is Definitely Worth the price but my budget is Under 70$. So Is this the best one in under 70. Also I can go a bit above 70, Maybe 80-90.
@@lightning_knight7 I’d say this one is worth it for that much money. You could get some string silencers and some Velcro for string groove silencers it’d be less than 100$
When I got the bow the riser was bend so the limbs could not be aligned. It is a little bit stacky but that is to be expected for such a short bow. Other than that I got what I paid for.
Most definitely! If you get anything from a 40 pound bow up, and set up a good arrow with about a 50 grain insert and 150-200 grain broadhead it’d bring em down easily. You’d have a high FOC and good momentum with the weight of the arrow so you’d get good penetration. Shot placement is key though!
thank you so much for not letting me waste time on this bow as my first one. really appreciate it

Bro, it's expensive in the Philippines, but it's not cheap there because the value of your money is great there.

2:53 the bigger is the one on the right isn't it?
Yeah, the one on the right is the bigger one. It’s kinda hard to tell the way it was kinda folded together still from packaging.
Me and my brother just bought two first bows ever so we will see if we like them

I think for that money, you could taper the limbs a bit and line the limb pockets and probably take out the shock and get her quiet.
what if you mod it? best string, dampers etc.

why is ur TopArchery 56" vibrating so much n so loud..? i hav the same 35lbs(clean) n it barely has any 'twang' echo, juz a short 'thud' kinda..
Probably quality control. Typically with cheap stuff like that manufacturing let things slip. Mostly is just a 50/50 chance of getting a good one.
Lol one time I bought a night light and it came almost completely destroyed

Decent enough as a cheap practice bow then is what I'm hearing
