I saw them twice back then great shows. Our friends Joey and Paul were in the band. Never got to meet the twins. Gunnar was my fav. I am a big fan of Ricky Nelson and Ozzie & Harriet. Loved it when their mom Kris was on too.
This is cool to see so many years later. I think I might have seen this. This song is very inspiring as are most of Nelson songs. They are good songwriters, singers and performers. I like how they both are very confident in themselves and their music and their energy and enthusiasm. Rarely do we see anymore this level of energy and passion in a rock band performance. So many music artists nowadays just strut around the stage singing but they don't have the charisma like these guys have. The 80s & early 90s era was the most fun & entertaining & inspiring era for hard rock bands. Nelson is a melodic type of hard rock. It's hard to describe their music within the hard rock hair band genre but they aren't really soft rock - they are in between. I think of them as high energy melodic hard rock.

I think their sister plays the mother in their, "short promotional film", for their song, "After The Rain". It would be nice if someone could confirm and or deny this.

I think it's a shame they spent their whole interview discussing how they have to "win over" fans. I think their music speaks for itself. I never fully understood why soo many in the music industry dumped on them? They put out good pop songs and were great singers, songwriters and performers...total pros. It was hard for dudes to openly admit they liked their music because they were "pretty" boys that girls would swoon over. It may have been more fun to do an interview with the twins, Tracy and Sam Nelson. Bad Arsenio!!

@@LAwoman1956 - Yes. Not only good performers but good people. I met Matt and Gunnar twice at meet and greets. Two of the nicest, down to earth people you could talk to. They are very welcoming to their fans and enjoy talking about music. One of the guys in their band I believe was their longtime friend from high school?
This band should have had another successful album or two. The changing industry the back half of 91’ destroyed their momentum. Not to mention they had actual talent.
Omg they weren't average let alone anything else. If you want to get an idea of how they were in their personal life read Bobbie Brown's book Dirty Rocker Boys.
They were hated because they were actually talented and beautiful and nice. Love them and appreciate their hard work.
