Just watched an interview with the twins..they said this is entirely live..no record backing ..they sung and played .. everything was plugged in..and the crowd was a call out for a video shoot and all of those people showed up !!!

Yup.. .true story. I was there. Heard about it the day before on the radio... me and my sister convinced mom & dad to drop us off the next morning for it. It was phenomenal. They played the song and recorded it a couple times... then treated the crowd to a full concert to kick off the tour. One of my favorite concerts.

It’s beyond shameful that these guys hit the scene at the tail end of the ‘hair band’ genre. ‘After The Rain’ was and is an excellent effort ... even today I still wonder if they could’ve topped it the popular music scene hadn’t shifted so dramatically after damned Nirvana hit the scene.

Bryan Neal I think a lot of the music videos we watch from the 80s and 90s have not been archived properly and so the quality looks poorer than something that was taped yesterday. I would say that this video tape has been archived very well since 1990 and this means we are able to watch it the way it was back in 1990 with little degradation of video tape quality.

Every band member were top notch!
They were my very first concert. With Firehouse as the openers. At 12 it was amazing!! And I'm 42 still love it!!
Mine too and i was 12! except firehouse didnt play eddie money did. They were there for WZYP birthday bash they signed autographs and did photos. Firehouse was there but didnt play. The radio station had 2 seperate parties that day one for the younger crowd no concert or alcohol. I took pictures with them. Immediately went to develop them and realized my pic with matthew didnt come out so my granmama took me to the 2nd party where they actually played...i was soooo excited! Best day of my teenage life actually.

Taste of music goes with the passage of generations...I'm 41 now and I'm Nowhere near to seeing them 'Live', but I'd always love their music since I's 12, 13. Skid Row, Motley Crew, Poison, Europe, Whitelion, Badfingers,Ratt,.....and the list goes on...

Man this brings back memories! I was 20 at the time, guitarist in a band with my brother on drums in a band in '90 and loving this song. Great melodies, rhythms and harmonies. I remember taking acid back then and tryin to jam on this song and it just sounded off. Then put on some Doors. Doors instantly sounded better . Just a weird flashback I just had. Peace and love!

I remember going to my very first concert my parents took me to their concert in Kalamazoo Michigan in 1992 I had just turned 8 my brother and I were too short and couldn't see and these 2 tall absolutely gorgeous woman put him and I on their shoulders so we could see I can remember that day like it was yesterday

nelson is the one non Christian rock band i will listen too probably 98 % of the hard rock bands i listen to is nothing but Christian rock bands. Nelson music is clean and fun music to listen too. at least Nelson don't have any swearing or anything like that. also i think that nelson should put a live cd and a live dvd or a live blu-ray disc out as well

These guys were having their heyday, at the only period in my life that I was not plugged into the music scene. Man, What a shame I missed this. Glad I found it now!

I saw them in '90, I believe. They were opening for Cinderella, which was a pleasant surprise. That was an odd pairing. But, they kicked ass just the same! Nelson was one of the very few bands I've seen that were as good live as they were on album.
I saw them on that tour too! Lynch Mob, Nelson, Cinderella. I'm in Alabama, and for the encore, Cinderella and Nelson together played "Brown Sugar", and to close the show..... "Sweet Home Alabama" . One of the Nelson twins was on drums, there were like 5 guitarists.... they KILLED it!! After the show, my dad and I walked out the back door of the arena.... and there was Nelson's tour bus! I was an excitable, star struck little girl, but my dad told them what a great show they put on and high fived Matthew and Gunnar. Such a great memory.

Met these fellows in 2008 at the Alrosa Villa. Gunnar and Matthew were with Bobby Rock. Mark Slaughter was there too. Met em all man! I was a teen again. They all still had it. Mark, Matthew, and Gunnar did Fly to the Angels together. Damn it was great!

Just discovered these guys, they sure can sing. Glad they didn't get caught up in the drugs. They seem like great down to earth guys, from what I seen in interviews...white milk or chocolate. One said white the other said breastmilk Lol.

There's people who love and appreciate their music and then there's the people who just don't let joy in their lives. They perform with such a genuine and obvious love of music. I still hope to see them live.
