This judge is violating the constitutional rights of every defendant with a case before her. The United States Supreme Court ruled over 40 years ago that a defendant has the right to a speedy trial and determined that it must be done within 120 days or charges be dropped unless the defendant waves this right. A backlog of 4 years is unacceptable and the judge needs to be sanctioned and removed from the bench and have her liscence to practice law revoked by the Texas Bar.

I used to live in Waco, Texas. I am carrying a bullet lodged in my left shoulder blade from being robbed and shot by the then 10 year old grandson who was using the firearm registered to the judge. This kid was allowed to do whatever he wanted because the police were too afraid to arrest him because granddaddy was a judge. He shot 4 people and killed 1 before he was 12 years old. They only gave the kid 3 years in a juvenile detention center for a series of 11 robberies, 4 shootings, a 1 murder. He was released at 17 and 4 days after his 18th birthday he shot 3 other people in a road rage incident killing 1.
I was also the victim of a felony theft where the Waco police refused to arrest the thief as his uncle was the United States Marshall for that district of Texas.
I found the cops and court system in Texas to be the most corrupt institutions I have ever seen. 25% of the houses in the area where drugs were sold were rental properties owned by the mayor and the police chief. If anyone wanted a drug bust to result in jail time in the late 1990s the bust had to be made by the Texas Rangers or a federal agency because it was a local agency the mayor would just tell the police chief to release them. Also by the time the case reached the court system the evidence would not be admissible in court due to complications with the chain of custody if not outright missing from the evidence room.
The D.A. had to dismiss a bunch of cases due to an officer stealing and selling the drugs right out of the evidence room.

Y'all need Rob Wolicheck from Michigan the reporter that puts people in the Hall of Shame. Hopefully I spelled his name right, but probably didn't. He followed a judge that spent more time golfing and goofing while being paid as a judge that wasn't hardly ever in the court room.

Justice delayed is justice denied. Someone said this over 100 years ago. We have made alot of progress since but now we are digressing. If the courts cannot be relied on we will start seeing people relying on themselves.

These judges who refuse to do their job should be removed from the bench period. maybe it is time for the citizens to give out their own punishment for these felons who are walking around free. take the matter into you own hands. chances of you going to jail are slim to nothing. take the bad gene out of the gene pool would be a good thing for everyone. no arrests no consequences take your own action.
