Jesse great clean up video and so happy, like you that all of that is now gone and you can use what money you got for all of it on the garage building. Love your videos, and appreicate all the work you do on each of them. Stay warm.

You always have a good reason for doing it .Thank you for making time for all of us to enjoy your videos.Ed from Michigan
This was another interesting video. I remember watching the video you made years ago where you piled all that junk back there, and thinking, what a eyesore. But one thing at a time.
All is good interesting videos. Personally I'm looking forward to solar videos since it's one of my current favorite topics and things to do. We use the grid and solar so we have some Independence specially if the power goes out. And reducing the regular power bill👍👍👍
Thanks Jesse - $3500 plus some interesting TH-cam content. I was half expecting an Andrew C-style squashing of vehicles or driving them off cliffs, but that’s not your style 😊 Amazing how stuff accumulates when you have property.
It is a brilliant and very different video, Jesse. Really enjoyed this one. Nice to see you got some money back and reclaimed some land. Maybe Andrew or Sam Weber would be interested in the snowmobiles and jet ski collection. Really interested to see you solar pv project you mentioned yesterday
Man, that looked like a real "treat" when the truck slid back. Winter sure can make things a pain in the arse! Your friend yelling "Good!" cracks me up. You slam into a tree... "Good!" You drop the truck onto the trailer, half on, half off..."Good!" I have a feeling you could drop something valuable onto something else, destroying both and injuring yourself in the process, and the next thing you would hear is..."Good!" lol.
Lol usually when you hear lots of "good!" That means everything is going pretty well. We try to make things as fun as possible because i just always have so many mountains of work ahead, it makes things a little easier to think about
Jesse: You remind me of working with a guy that scraped vehicles using a back hoe/ bucket. You are lucky to not have to take the tires off. Brings back many memories. Good deal ..
I did a cleanup/scrap trip of our property a few months after we moved here. $1200 worth of crusty and rusty metal. It's a good feeling to turn trash into folding money.
@@jmuller86 The subtitles are not available I don't know if it's you or TH-cam who put the subtitles to the video but they are still not available 5 hours after the upload
Agreed. I see way too much value getting scrapped. That Chevy plow in my area would run $700 with the mounts. That hydrologic bed ram can't be cheap. Those Dodge mounts would be $300 each, that ladder rack worth at least $200. That hemi is good, $1000. cab didn't look bad. That red 2500 ram would sell for $1500 even if it didn't run where I'm at.
I’m surprised you didn’t keep any of the parts off the dodge trucks. That gray cab looked it great shape. Just a thought…. Maybe you can buy your brother some suspenders so he can keep his pants up!!
Wow you guys go through some trucks and cars. Looks like NY State claims victims that would be prime rebuilds down here where I live. Those Dodge trucks are sought after for rebuilding here (Mobile, AL) but not with frame and body bad as they get in NY State with the ice, snow and salt! I feel for you guys. It rains here. I get it. It rains 4 inches at times but if it comes in the afternoon it's dry before the next morning. No snow no ice no SALT. When you get 4 inches of snow (I have been up in your neck of the woods a lot) it's wet for DAYS AND DAYS and is a mess for days and days until it finally melts and goes away. If it's really cold at nite what you had in your drive is was dry repeat for DAYS until it FINALLY melts. Only way I come up your way particularly in the winter is if I am PAID well to. You can have it!
There is a time for everything. Clean up, haul off and it's G.O.O.D! when you get money. Thanks for sharing and relating your experience. Blessings Jesse Stay safe, healthy, strong, wise and successful.. ☝️🙏🙌💪🎯🇺🇸❤️🤠
Daggone man, you live in a swamp. I've never seen so much water on one's property until you started building your house. And even under and around your new shop.
I noticed the brakes on the trailer didn't engage when sliding backwards the 1st time. Might look into widening the driveway 15-20 feet each side if possible.
Every time I see the Gehl purring around doing it’s job I remember the way you rebuild it so impressed with your ability at most projects and the way you’re bringing up your family cheers
Jessie we love your videos, could you please introduce the other participants or name them for us, we enjoy their participation but would like to know who they are, especially the heavy set fellow who is present a lot. Is he your brother?😊
my buddy has an excavating co,has a similar D truck and trailer,he parked it. it came outta gear, and he slipped on the running board trying to get in the cab. he fell under it and all axles ran him over including the trailer, he survived, and made a full recovery, after months in the hospital.hes back working..uffda
I think that with two or three extra hours of work, with your excavator on your place, you could have recovered maybe a ton more of pure steel from the vehicles, so you would have made more on the sale. However, even this amount is fine as extra financing for your garage!
Trying to pay that concrete bill down 😂? I scrap myself. Doesn’t take long for that stuff to build up and that money is nice when work is slow. Rock on man.
I never know what an acceptable level of contamination is. Like..plastic bed liner..what happens? Chars into carbon in the furnace and is made up for when they alloy? Any tips for separating metals?
Jesse working smarter not harder. those crusty dump beds perfect to throw all the loss junk in. saves your back and time when comes to unloading. having a skidsteer , telehandler helps too. those ancient Meyer blades were only worth scrapping. the truck side mounts and lift frames might have been worth the effort to take off, resell. sold 3 Meyer classic mounts for 1999-2003 Dodge Ram 2500's for $3k. you cant get them new unless someone has them stashed as NOS, then you paying out king's ransom
Collecting the scrap comes easy, sorting and cleaning for more is always my least favorite. Im in Chenango County NY our scrap yard has a cash limit. Once you hit $500 then you get a check. So its always a weight game to keep it green 😂
Dang, I could of used the headlight buckets out of that OBS chevy for my suburban lol. Man if you scrap all this before the covid crap, you'd make out even better, scrap is still kinda low, Cats still go for good money though. I miss scrapping, price dropped so much I had to get out of it.
A good feeling mate to turn trash to treasure, not only that but Im sure its cleaned up an eyesore you see most days. Progress buddy, thats a good thing.
Those would still be some good trucks if not for the salt,i was looking for a 99-04 XL f250 i found one that looked good in the pictures.
