I love long videos as you don't forget what you've watched and prevent a loss of interest. Most TH-cam channels love their short videos because they make twice the revenue where Jesse is about quality, not cash
They'd be much more useful if they were segmented (chapters). I was referred here by somebody 'cause I want to see a cushion valve setup (I think this is the right video), but it's going to be a long slog - even with fast-forwarding.
I really miss those times when my boys were that age. Time passes so quickly, cherish the moments you have with them. On the upside, my kids now have kids so I get to re-live the past except when they misbehave, I can hand them back to their parents :).
So very true! My son is starting college and my daughter is going into her last year of high school. Time moves so fast. I miss when they looked towards me as the most important person in the world. Cherish those moments!
Jesse you're legit the best youtube channel around, hope you know that. Perfect mixture of repairs, actions, drone, music, knowledge, ambition, its a great thing.
Good job Jesse - If I were a contractor looking for excavator operator, your son looks like a promising candidate - Nice to see a dad and son sharing common interests and "working" together.
I’m so proud of your son. You are doing a great job raising children who are going to grow up to be capable adults. I’ve been in residential construction almost 40 years and I wish I saw more of this!
It's great to see that son helping Dad, while learning analytical and mechanical skills. We need more young men that have actual skills to keep our great country working.
Well it’s def a whole lot nicer than the excavator I’m working on and mine only has 3500 hrs lol, it really goes to show how important proper maintainence is! Btw Jesse it is so nice and wholesome to see you teaching your son how to fix and work on stuff and it seems like he really has a interest in it, you are so blessed to have such good kids and they are so blessed to have such a great dad like you!!
I can't believe how expensive things are in NY compared to where I am in FL, but you have a nice machine. Love the longer video much better than television.
That’s one kid who’s going to grow up with common sense and have the get it done attitude! I grew up around heavy equipment, he will remember these types of moments for the rest of his life! God bless!
Great job having your son work with you and giving him the on the job training. Don't forget to teach him the value of his work and how to get an appropriate wage. If you don't he could easily end up as a physically broken and financially broke workaholic like me. Love your videos and the Faith in your family.
20:37 The wife and I raised 4 boys. I was rased the same way as you are raising your boys, in so far as helping and learning, hands on. I remember and am pretty good with fixing stuff. Kudos to you and your wife. I think you are a great example of what a dad should be. And thanx for the share, good stuff!
That’s awesome that you are letting your kids get involved with every facet of your life and work skills. Outstanding work. Good job by that young man using the excavator
When I saw you using that big pipe wrench to remove the cover for the hydraulic ram, I knew it wasn’t gonna work. I think you had the same thought at the same time that I did watching you on the video and then next thing you know you’re drawing out a special wrench aka Spanner! on 1/2” Steel sheet and cutting it out plasma cutter! That was absolutely brilliant Jesse great job.!
That was a nice buying I can not agree more is your best excavator by far. Doses knoks is a mistory how bad they were an excavator like that so clean and everything running in very good order. I operated quite a few excavators but your son operated bigger than all of them I am very proud father and son getting your hands dirty that is very special for you Jesse 👏 👏 👍 👍 👌
Jesse, I really enjoy your videos and the content you put in them. You mix work and family together and the skill, knowledge, and commitment to both family and equipment shows. Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you all in all your endeavors. Still looking forward to the final video on your dream truck. To be able to take the whole family in a nice comfortable ride and still have all the tools and equipment you need when you arrive {and being miles from home and the shop}. Can't wait to see those videos. Most of my family vacations growing up were working vacations, but dad still found time to mix both work and family fun time together.
I had to take a break from this video. Home comes first. Really enjoyed seeing your eldest son taking a big interest in what you do, and he helped. I'm quite impressed with him. Thank you for sharing 👌 😊
I like the fact that your oldest son is hanging with you man I figure it's time he start learning your skills and even operating the smaller machines under your supervision of course
Hello Jesse. I've watched you build and repair several things. How you organize the tools you use really should not bother folks. Some folks live and look to complain about something. Many times, things they cannot do. I was happy to see you stick it out with the blower motor. The repair looks great. Have good days!

I think it's so great that you have your young son working with you and teaching him about the machines. I bet he really enjoys it.
First of all, I am truly impressed with your work ethics, especially in teaching your sons to be a part of the projects! He is a real chip off the old block. The excavator has become a solid machine under you hands. As to the instrument panels scratched up screen, if it is plastic, you can use a plastics restorer to buff it back to nearly a new screen Great Channel to follow!
Wow, your son will be a lot on help not too soon. Great to have him learn to operate the machines. I got my pilot's license (student) at 16 years old. He could be ready in a couple if not for the regulations. Keep up the great work. Thanks
Thank you for buying an excavator TO FIX. One of your TH-cam competitors just bought a BRAND NEW one and priced himself right out of my area of interest.
And I am impressed by your expertise in buying and fixing a mid-sized excavator like the Deere 80C. Your dedication to mastering equipment and tackling repairs showcases your skill and determination. Your ability to handle such projects with precision and passion is truly commendable. And I am Floating Village Life
Those outer seals contain glass in them. When they stretch to go on they immediately stay that shape and size. The only way to get them back to the correct size is to compress them with a hose clamp. It’s pretty much an instant fix. Good luck and thanks for the great videos.
Cherish those moments of your kids at that age, and make as much time as you possibly can with them. Years pass quickly and before long you aren't the most important thing in their life, their friends and social media is. I wish i could turn back time and make more time with mine. Its good to see them helping you, they will always remember that!
Hey Jesse, I am the kind of guy that cleans as I go, but the way you do things are fine. The end result is you get the job done. I really enjoy your videos and I have learnt a great deal from you. Keep them coming. Kindest Regards JC
Watched to the end. Enjoyed the video. It makes me happy when good people succeed. In your work, stay safe, healthy, discerning and successful. Don't lose any fingers. Hi Jesse! Kaiden is turning into a great little helper for you! I was so pleasantly surprised to see him operate the skidsteer and the excavator. Wow...he's growing fast. It always amazes me to see how many parts are needed when repairing machines. I think you're right about Deere wanting people to bring their machines into the dealers for repairs. They make more money that way. It's awesome that you can fix everything like you do. I think this will be a great new addition to your fleet, and I hope to see it in action. I'm normally not a fan of long videos, but no matter how long yours are, I watch the whole thing at one sitting. The time flies by. So entertaining, and at the young age of 72, I'm learning things that I really didn't need to know. But, you never know when it might come in handy. Take care!

Jesse, I was struggling right with you getting the A/C motor exchanged. I grunted just like you. That was a heck of an undertaking. Also, I agree with you "A body man you're not." But you did a good job on the sheet metal. Over all - Great Job! Hope you get many hours of work out of that machine.
Climbing on the boom holding a hatchet while Noah is in the cab studying the ignition switch! These boys will be driving when their 12 and working on the crew after school. Congrats.

My favorite part of this video so far is you having your son clean up the pin that he dropped and when you say “I have to punish you somehow“ he says “well, yeah” he’s a good kid and gonna be a great man. Also, Hitachi had made all John Deere excavators since they made their partnership. They only just recently stopped I believe.
The partnership was basically deere engines and Hitachi hydraulics for both companies. Ended last year or so when deere decided to design its own hydraulics.
Jesse, those seals should shrink back down. It’s just because you hated them up. Ps great watching you fixing it & your son looks like he is following in your footsteps in fixing things too
Hey Jesse - enjoyed talking to you a few weeks ago through FB chat, brother. And I love how your kids are around for lots of this stuff - they will look back fondly on these days. All the best from Wes in Pittsburgh.
Really like how you get your boys involved with the hands on part of your life. They will be very capable in life with the skills you are training them in.
Wonderful seeing you getting your son involved. You are building a good business and he looks to like the machines. Hopefully at some point in the future your other kids can help as well. A family run business is special, because the family will follow the way the father wants things done. So far all that you have shown is there is only one way to do a job, the right way. That example will do your kids well in life, no matter what they end up doing as they get older.
I think you found a great deal. For the money It could pay for itself in one or maybe a few jobs! If the machine was used on a golf course that could explain the hours, it may have sat with a guy just sitting in it idling a lot like a guy working for the city! 😂
Jessie Love your video, and I just sit back and relax at night watching them, I so appreicate all the work in shooting along with all the time editing to share all this with all of us here. Very Much appreicated.
I was over the moon when I got my TONKA toy equipment when I was 10 (60+ years ago) but I bet the lad is REALLY happy playing with his dad and his toys lol
First time on this channell and when I saw the little guy yanking on that pin I was bit scared. Within another few minuits I realised that the little guy has been pretty well schooled by his dad and is in fact a good help. This looks like an interesting place, my kind of place, I'll click the button.
I see dad’s helper is there to help out dad, it’s good how he takes interest in whatever you’re working on my friend! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 He’s really intelligent too! He even operates the excavator to and pretty well at that dad, he’s doing an amazing job! Another chip off the ole block, well done little man! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I really thought I knew how to repair a lot of different things. I can tell you now, I don’t hold a candle to Jesse Muller. This guy gets it done! BTW, I’m the same way with my tools when I start fixing something. I’m blowing and going, but I do clean up my mess!
Nice clean addition to the growing fleet. That fan motor was a nightmare to change, but I guess they got to pack a lot in a small cab for a mid sized machine :)
I personally would rather have a 2-hour video, every 2-weeks, than have short videos more often!
Thanks for the fantastic detail too!

You raising your kids up right willing to help an not scared to get dirty. Awesome trackhoe you got there.😊
Jessie Love your video, and I just sit back and relax at night watching them, I so appreicate all the work in shooting along with all the time editing to share all this with all of us here. Very Much appreicated.
Awesome to see your young family operating machines!...GOOD JOB!
I was over the moon when I got my TONKA toy equipment when I was 10 (60+ years ago) but I bet the lad is REALLY happy playing with his dad and his toys lol
Another productive day in the workshop Jesse, well done and thanks to your wee man, going to be a chip off the old block
That thumb is wicked fast..haven't seen one move that quick before..really like the channel
You did a good job fixing up the machine.
Your boy knows more then most men in there mid 20s these days.
Well done dad!
I love the part where your kids saying it's like brand new with the giant dent in frame, great video man.
That thumb work better than most I've seen. Congrats.
Man he built his own giant spanner wrench too. Determined SOB! Good on yuh.
Congratulations to the addition to your fleet
that machine deserves a new paint job like your dozers. Greetings from France. great video as always Jesse
I really thought I knew how to repair a lot of different things. I can tell you now, I don’t hold a candle to Jesse Muller. This guy gets it done! BTW, I’m the same way with my tools when I start fixing something. I’m blowing and going, but I do clean up my mess!
Alright!!Let's' hang out with Jesse ,this Saturday afternoon! Here we go! Cheers! ;-)!!!
I really like the way you work. Thinking outside the box, if it works then it works.
Yeah that Deere is not a bad find for the price. Should serve you well. I always think a smaller one like that is useful while not being a mini. ❤
Nice clean addition to the growing fleet. That fan motor was a nightmare to change, but I guess they got to pack a lot in a small cab for a mid sized machine :)
