Are you ever too old for a hip replacement?

Age is just a number, but as we get older, our health problems increase as well. Having said that, if you have a painful hip and it's stopping you getting on with your life, its' well worth considering surgery. There's plenty of evidence to show that the risks of surgery don't necessarily dramatically increase even in your nineties.
