Great preview of what's to come. This seems like THE way to build a yacht. Thank you so much for being so clear, precise, and informative on all the aspects of your boat build. It is an amazing process and adventure. Much, much better than browsing through a dock of pre-made yachts and saying, "I'll take that one." It's almost akin to birthing a baby. Nine months (+, +, +) of thinking, imagining and pondering what your baby will ultimately be like. You guys are the "architects" of your own creation in partnership with all the manufacturers. Christmas or the birthday of your yacht when it is finally delivered is going to be one unbelievable day, I am sure. Sooooo, looking forward to it. Keep up the great documentary of your yacht birthing.

13:03 I know I already commented but I’ll be “that guy” that makes two comments. For Victoria, have your partners make a “Easy Button” version of instructions how to turn on, turn off or maintain a particular piece of equipment. We have them printed and laminated for each piece of kit on our RV. Makes it super easy for the spouse to do things when I am on travel or whatever and works as an idiot guide for me when I only use the thing or service it once a year for maintenance.
#2 Literally! I would always recommend an alternate toilet option in case of complete catastrophic failure. Having an incinerating toilet on board is a god sent. The electric version would be perfect for your boat and only needs a single vent pipe. They have been used on commercial vessels for decades. We love our incinolet toilet at our cabin and considering you don’t need a septic, tanks, treatment its super affordable.

Having watched American ex-pat YT'ers who are having boats built in Thailand and China and god knows where, I'm really pleased to see you focusing on U.S. companies. I only recently stumbled on your channel, and was both put off and enamored by your super-yacht tours, but I think your new boat will be something you can be proud of. And so can the rest of us.

Since their yacht will be staying around the US, having US spec equipment and electrical makes sense but for a yacht that travels and spends the majority of its time outside of the US, 240 is the only way to go.
Very interesting episode. Appreciate that your main concern is a quality product that can be serviced and is warrantied properly, and not just if they are giving you a good deal because of who you are in the yachting world. It demonstrates the kind of character you have, and is a good example for other youtubers. Well Done!!

Have you considered a fire/ station, pump? Up at the bow, you can put out fires on other boats. Use it for self defense.

As I started to watch the numerous videos regarding the manufacturers of your equipment I did wonder about the financial arrangement with them. This video clarified this arrangement, which is fair to both parties. I was really impressed by the engineering and manufacturing process for this equipment.

All of the Flemings (even the “little” 55) have the Boening Yacht Management systems since 2010. So, not just on super yachts😉 And yes, they are WAY cool & provide so much useful information organized in an easy to use manner

The two different sized water makers is not surprising- I figured you would use the smaller one for when it is just you guys onboard and a larger one when chartered. I am looking forward to the system specific videos-especially the Faruno, Bonning, and Victron ones.

The Yacht management system you choose is a standard feature on a series of 55 thru 85-foot fiberglass yachts. I won't mention the name, but there made in Taiwan for a Company in the USA.

I love your channels. Rico is patient, Victoria is great as an educator. Both are very knowledgeable. I am a sailor but had a 31’ 1961 Chris Craft for a few years. I prefer sailing and watching you guys is great because I get ideas and learn and learn and learn! Someday, something will come up and I will think of a solution based on something I read or saw. I DO understand issues of the head! Gotta get that right! I am glad you are cleaning the black water before dumping!!! It’s no fun to go snorkeling having forgotten you pumped your sewage overboard. Yuk!
