  • Oppenheimer stars Emily Blunt and Matt Damon argue over the internet's biggest debates in Agree To Disagree for LADbible.
Should you tell someone if they have bad breath? Is British food better than American food? Should you clap when your plane lands to thank the pilot?
Matt and Emily argue it out whilst revealing how close they are as friends - even going on holiday together each year! We see Matt reveal why kissing Scarlett Johansson was 'hell', whilst Emily is stunned by Matt's ability to remember his McDonald's order.
Oppenheimer releases in UK cinemas on 21 July 2023.

Scotland is part of Britain. Although some reasonable people argue that it was first made in the English Midlands (Birmingham, Derby, Leicester) but since England is part of Britain too I guess, for these purposes, the difference is moot.

I love how both of them were like, "Our food is better cause it's someone else's food."
Edit, since I think many have missed my point. Yes, i realize that Chicken tikka masala is the most popular dish in England. But it was created by Indian immigrants using Indian ingredients and Indian cooking techniques. It might have been created in England, but it finds its roots in Indian food. The same thing happens in America with a lot of Chinese and Italian inspired dishes.
That was the point of my comment, but I tried to word my comment humorously. It was a joke, not a serious commentary on western cuisine.

What's cool about a melting pot though, is that it does blend multiple cultures and evolves to become its own too. America, for example, may not have its own American dish, but Americans are people of all cultures, so their food becomes American and even evolves into other things like Pizza or example or making the hamburger a cheese burger etc.

Tikka Masala isn't a common Indian dish. It wasn't made in India at all, it was invented in Britain by Indian immigrants. What is called Indian food in Britain is actually its own distinct cuisine unique to Britain that has its roots in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh
And if Americans are going to go on about their own food like tex mex and soul food, it seems a bit hypocritical to object to a nation's food having its basis in immigration.
