When researchers fail to research their guests! 😂
What is Oppenhuimour?
@@patrickmcgoohan8612 Oppenhuimour is Oppenheimer after he's been to a comedy club. 😂
What does it have to do with Harvey Weinstein best buddy Matt Damon?
@@hagestad Is that a serious question? Matt Damon is in the movie! (with Emily Blunt). That's why they are together in this video we're commenting on 😅😅
Love when Matt almost cracked on his beef with Kimmel
I was really glad he played that the way he did. Such a good long running schtick.
Beep bop... I'm the Philosophy Bot. Here, have a quote:
"The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed"
~ Carl Jung
If you want to see the best Matt Damon talkshow appearance it's Graham Norton show with Damon, Bill Murray and Hugh Bonneville. Hilarious! They were drinking before and are a riot.
It was actually nice for him to mention the strike part
Yeah and how Matt had the black woman producer fired🤣
Jokes aside it was kind of sweet how Matt sneaked in that compliment to Kimmel while keeping the gag alive. Props to Kimmel for his benevolence towards his writers.
ok
Kimmel is evil. He's in on the child sex trafficking
sneaked isn't a word Conan. You went to Harvard, you should know that.
@@froggytimmy8643I went to Harvard driving school.
@@froggytimmy8643snug, not sneaked;)
*I don't know why but I can listen to these 2 talk the entire day about absolutely random things and still be captivated. It's like watching 2 friends going out to dinner & just chatting nonstop for hours on end*
💯% this is how we all should be communicating with each other - as friends, as family, as travellers on the same path ❤
Exactly my thoughts! They’re so chill
@@theVirsanot that easy

One of the best things that came out of Oppenheimer is seeing Emily Blunt and Matt Damon reunited in a movie as well as in all of these fun interviews / appearances!
Get a life
remind me their of their previous film together?
Well you obviously didn't see how big his loads are. Definitely better than anything Johnny Damon or James Blunt have done
@@ssotkow The Adjustment Bureau
True True. Love both of them.
I love these two together. Their friendship is a breath of fresh air, especially how close their families are and associated friends. Their chemistry in the Adjustment Bureau blew my mind.
A breath of fresh air, or a breath of halitosis??
The Attachment Bureau*
@@julick8412 Did you?
Yeah and how Matt had the black woman producer fired🤣
@@simona4315she probably deserved it , she was Balck wouldn't have been an issue if she wasn't horrible to him.
Emily is positively enchanting and Matt comes off as so genuine.
Are you trying to say Matt isn't enchanting? That's horrible.
I love how Emily complains about American food but then said she would destroy a double cheesburger from McDonalds.
Well, she said she thinks all American cuisine is just cheeseburgers and nuggets (poking fun of course, she k it’s there’s more). She didn’t say she doesn’t enjoy it
I was amused that the example of British cuisine was Sunday roast. Like most Southern Americans I grew up with didn’t have that almost every week.
Burgers are not American, and the Brits invented the sandwich so yeah.
@@mitchellbooth8435 bruh, it’s widely accepted that burgers were invented in Texas. The reason they’re called hamburgers is because the idea of shredding beef was brought to America by sailors from Hamburg Germany.
@@makaiwise4609 right but the sandwich was invented by the English, and the beef patty had many many iterations before the modern hamburger was even a thing. Research suggests that the hamburger actually dates back to the 12th century when Mongol horsemen first ate steak tartare. It's said that this idea made its way through Russia before landing in Germany and then the world beyond. Let me guess you are going to claim that french fries pizzas and various other European dishes are American. Just because you put a brand on it does not make it yours.
I lowkey forgot about the Kimmel feud for a minute ☠️ caught me off guard. I hope it never ends.
I love that Matt keeps it a thing, even when it's nothing to do with Kimmel's show.
@@Elwaves2925 Yeh his dedication to the bit just makes it that much more hilarious
"F*** Jimmy Kimmel"
Plot twist: they actually hate each other.
What happened?
That was hilarious to watch.
Wow

The Adjustment Bureau is one of my favorite movies because of the chemistry between these two. What a joy they are.
Gary Cooper still holds the record for the shortest Oscar acceptance speech. When he won for Sergeant York, all he said was "Thanks."
That was such a great film
He was actually giving credit to the film that made his career, Forest Gump, when he was a co-star of T. Hanks...
(this is untrue)
@@fx4d Man, that would've been a good joke if the first comment was about Gary Sinise and not Gary Cooper.
I wish they made more movies together, they have amazing chemistry
@@luckrequired5382 John doesn't seem like the type to worry about that. Emily doesn't seem like the type to be worried about.
The adjustment bureau
Cost prohibitive. They probably took a pay cut just to work on a Nolan film but they wouldn't dare do that for some other hack director.
In other interview, Emily mentioned about Adjustment Bureau part 2. So let's see.
I see this everytime that Emily gets along hilariously well with any cast member she's with. Tells you how lovely a person she is. 🤩
yes, and I'm glad she hasn't got so American that she can't remember our national dish - chicken tikka marsala😄
Yes she get along easily with Everyone. Watch her with Charlize Theron. It's the best.
@@catgladwell5684 The dish is chicken tikka masala - marsala is a sweet Sicilian wine, which does not go well with spicy chicken !
People thought Bill Cosby was great too.
@@catgladwell5684what the hell is marsala, its masala
2:07 I love how committed to the bit he is. Zero hesitation once the question was asked.
The bathroom meeting scene from the Adjustment Bureau is easily one of the best romantic chemistry/flirting scenes on film..followed by every successive scene of them reconnecting. Their chemistry made the film really.
I love the Adjustment Bureau - it was their chemistry which made the movie so endearing & watchable 😃
Such an underrated movi though
Best chemistry I've ever seen in a movie, honestly.
gotta admit though, attatchment bureau was better
One of my favorite movies
I BOUGHT the damn DVD because of that chemistry. I remember seeing it in the theater and just being blown away by their mind-meld.
This was a lot of fun. I love that Matt keeps up the shtick with Jimmy Kimmel 24/7 in front of the cameras. Best late night bit ever.
Chris Elliott/ Dave Letterman was better
why do you like Jimmy Fallon so much. Because he is not Jimmy Kimmel.
Now that the Paul Rudd/Conan bit is over this is the best ongoing bit
@@sharris256did you hear it revived on Conan’s podcast? It really played well in an audio format 😅
@@eolsunder british hosts are better.
What a sweet friendship to witness and I enjoyed hearing about their shared history and little anecdotes. It was a little ironic that Matt was dressed similarly to his character in the Adjustment Bureau, and yay to Kimmel for paying his writers during the strike.
I would pay my writers too if I made that much money that I could.
Can relate to Matt's colarbone problem. Subluxated mine years ago, when a girl I'd been hanging out with told me to go and buy a few bottles of wine and some "protection". I left her house so fast, jumped on my bike, zoomed down the kerb onto the road ... lost control of the front end and absolutely dunked myself off the bike, shoulder first, into the road. Felt it come out immediately. Absolute shock, sweat, agony, but I couldn't stop laughing. Some woman pulled up in her car and started shouting to me to get out of the road, like she thought I was laughing because I was having a great time. I made her call the ambulance. Not only did I lose a great opportunity, and totally dissapoint that girl, I ended up having lifelong problems with my damn colarbone! Especially getting comfortable in bed! :/
Love how right after Matt Damon says "I don't know what else is coming out this week" it cuts straight to Margor Robbie's interview teaser xd
Their friendship is so endearing to witness. Puts a smile on your face.
Emily deserves a better husband.
Emily is so lovable. She gets along with everyone. Such a sweetheart.
I loved The Adjustment Bureau. The premise was a bit wacky so the movie hinged almost entirely on how believable the romance between the pair was to persevere against such obstacles ... and they knocked it out of the park.
You gotta love that Damon, while still in the middle of committing to his hating Kimmel bit, took the time to call out the awesome thing his friend is doing for his writing staff lol that's a real pal.
The Adjustment Bureau is honestly a top tier release. Not just their chemistry but the actual storyline too, it's riveting.
It's okay for a silly poorly defined premise.
It has very unique promise but the ending felt bit flat from what i remember.
@@witnessingobscura952 I think many people don't realize how many of the films they love/like come from Philip K Dick source material. Blade Runner, Minority Report, Total Recall, Man in he High Castle (series), Adjustment Bureau, Paycheck (had no idea til now). Great stories that often aren't known til they're adapted. To me it's a little like people not knowing Stephen King's dramatic stuff except for the movies- Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Stand by Me
@@orsonhyde7002 Would you rather see a movie for Survivor Type or Jaunt? Great stories, but I got enough nightmare fuel just by reading them.
I agree! The ending was okay, but the message is beautiful :)
I like how they were fighting for which is the less worst food between both the countries 🤣🤣
Not even close. England has culturally appropriated Indian food, fish and chips, and roasts. America literally has everything. 💯
@@JEBossTon92I mean American pizza would be appropriation wouldn't it? Or Fettuccine Alfredo.

There, i fixed your sentence. Gotta love the American classics like Pizza (Italy) Bolognese (Italy) Ceasar Salat (Mexico) Hamburger (Bruh, literally named after the City it was invented in, and it's not American)
Or name any Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Mexican dish.
It's lovely to see such an endearing friendship that these two actors share...Both Emily Blunt and Matt Damon are so grounded and seemed very natural! ❤️❤️
Is it possible not to be just smitten with Emily Blunt? Genuinely don't think so, she's such an enormous delight and incredible talent and she has amazing chemistry with Matt Damon. Also, the both of them gushing over Scarlett Johansson? Yes please and we need a Scarlett x Emily meet omg
Can't figure out why she was dressed like Mary Poppins for this though.

No wonder they love each other. The chemistry in "The Adjustment Bureau" was
, and is still, unprecedented.
The fact that the Kimmel thing came up and Matt instinctively trashes him to keep up the gag.. Their feud is the best long running joke ever.
Lmaoo the jimmy kimmel beef 😂😂😂😂
What is it
@@zeecaptures It's a joke between Kimmel and Matt where they pretend to dislike each other publicly
The way Matt has that Big Mac recipe down, is the most impressive thing 😂
"Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun" is from a commercial of theirs that played ad nauseam in the 80s. I'm about the same age as Matt and I can tell you that pretty much every American that was a kid during this time can recite this.
Everyone knows that if they were indoctrinated through the commercials
Any American between the ages of 45-55 can sing that jingle In their sleep! What a throwback to childhood!
Yup, it's really a testament to the power of advertising.
Their chemistry in the Adjustment Bureau was on fire! It's not every time you see actors connect in that way on screen. Love that movie!!!
The Adjustement Bureau is one of those movies that everytime I watch I find little hidden things in it. Both actor have a great chemistry together and also the "grand plan" underplot is something new and original that I never seen explored like that and THAT well. A delightful movie with delightful actors. Recommended!
HAHAHAHAH yessss I love when they keep the Kimmel Damon fued going no matter what in ANY interview. You’ll never hear anything positive from them about each other EVER lmao. Geniuses
But wow he finally did give him kudos for paying his staff during the writers strike. 🥹🥹🥹
love this format, and of course, the guests are so funny, natural and relaxed
The fact that Damon remembers the McDonald's jingle from decades ago is super impressive.
Hey now, I liked the Adjustment Bureau. Very interesting premise and the lead actors had great chemistry. Definitely worth watching if you like either Matt Damon or Emily Blunt.
Can you imagine these multi celebrity family vacations? That is the life 😂
They aren’t rich enough for private jets, but they don’t want to fly commercial, so groups of celebrities will go in together on a private charter plane and it’s cheaper if you fill up more seats.
Celebrities. They are just like us

I feel like Emily Blunt always has the most fun with work and publicity interviews.
Oh the awards reaction is hysterical. You can tell they both are as fed up with it as the viewers does 🍺
Honestly awards speeches should have a 30 second limit or at least 45 seconds. it would make the shows run much faster and smoother as a result.
@@Missjunebugfreak I think Matt is onto something there; not limit it by time, but by word amount. 10 words should do it, i reckon!
7:26 her reaction is everything 😂😂😂
The way she described her kissing ritual with brushing teeth etc. especially sticking gum to your palate, is how I always pictured it to be done! Glad she solidified that for me 😂
There has to be an uncut version of this I could easily watch 20 more min with them doing this lol
I see Emily Blunt - I click. I think it's impossible to dislike her (don't say you do, you're lying)

A few minutes ago, I went to see Chris Nolan's Oppenheimer at the cinema and it was amazing, to be frank Nolan found the right actors to play their respective roles. As a result, the whole cast amazed me from Cillian Murphy to Emily and Matt.
From what I hear they all have like a messenger group of top lister actors where they schedule their meetings, vacations and they hang out together which I absolutely love. 😂❤
Matt's reaction to the Jimmy vs Jimmy question was hilarious XD KEEP THAT FEUD GOING MY GUY
Love Matt Damon's instant response to the Jimmy Kimmel question. 🤣
When Matt gave his burger suggestion all I heard was will hunting.

Emily Blunt has to the the most fun female Hollywood celebrity. So unpretentious, real and chilled out. And a hottie. What’s not to like.
Not really Hollywood celebrity, English
Worked on the Jason Bourne last one he did, Matt Damon is a LOVELY man, shook everyone's hand at the end of the day telling us 'great job' and always checked in on everyone if we needed breaks etc. Lovely Lovely man
Emily Blunt is still gorgeous after all these years. Her sense of humor is magnetic. Her alien groundhog day w/ Tom Cruise is one of my favorites. Their characters' subtle romance was top tier adorable.
That's a totally underrated movie..... Cruise and Blunt portrayed their dilemma beautifully
What an awesome movie that was...They were both great in it.
In case anyone is wondering about the "alien groundhog day w/ Tom Cruise", they're referring to the movie "Edge of Tomorrow". It's great, and definitely worth seeing.

Awesome interview ! Have to share a flight story ! Many years ago I was on my way to Los Angeles from the midwest ! We were in the handoff area to LA center ! The drink cart was just past me when I noticed nothing but ground out my window and blue sky on the other side of the plane ! As we leveled off I looked to the other side of the plane and I could see the faces of people in the windows of the aircraft as they flew past in the opposite direction ! No one had seatbelts on, not a drink was spilled I watched everyone leave the plane and no one said anything to the pilots as they left after landing ! I walked up to the pilots and expressed my thanks for the amazing job they did, they both smiled and expressed their appreciation ! I was very grateful that day !!!
i remember when a coworker, a very tough guy, commented that he had gone to the cinema and loved a film he saw it was weird bcs he never expressed a thing, i asked for the name of the film but i ended up missing it in cinemas, a couple of years later i wached it at home and absolutely loved the film too, the chemistry between them is so warm. became one of my comfot movies. it's the 'attachment' bureau.

Amazing interactions.
I loved the adjustment bureau in fact I’m gonna watch it again right now 🥰
If somebody has bad breath you ask them what the hell they've been eating. It's much better than just outright telling them their breath stinks. You give them the chance to laugh and say, "oh, yeah, I had chili and garlic for lunch" or whatever, and then you can both laugh it off, while later they go brush their teeth.
