As I have said before there is nothing like a Michael Lemmo review. He brings the life out of these vintage guitars. I can see him jumping around on stage with Keith Richards and Jeff Beck blasting out the rock! Excellent review and thank you Norm for bringing us Micheal. He's your best salesman!!
My '65 Olympic White Jazzmaster has yellowed just like that. Coolest color ever :)
I’m just amazed how people used to hate Michael but REALLY REALLY love him now. I understand the flow. People used to haye hate because their not used to a new “Mark Agnesi” but Michael so far has done a very very great job at Norms. He seems like a really great, honest, soft hearted guy.

THANK you, Michael, for demoing this Strat with the selector between pickups!! It’s usually a little tricky until the switch “lives” in positions 2 & 4 for a while, but like virtually all mechanical switches, they kind of “settle in” to those positions over time if you have them there in place long enough. Then, after some point, it’s much easier to land in-between them. Thanks again, man!
Tone on "Layla" was killer!
If you take the spring off it works much easier.

Seem to recall a feature in a magazine a few years ago where Jimi gave Ernie Isley a guitar just like this,,, they thought it was ugly ! say WHAT??? I love everything about it,,,faded White, RWB and minty green pg !@!

Usually I'm the guy who is moaning:" Oh noo, no proper distortion in that Fender Amp, come on use a Friedman or a Marshall!" This time I really enjoyed the clean sounds and was rewarded with some cool overdriven Rock 'n' Roll afterwards. Great playing Mr.Lemmo! This time you really nailed it. "Miss you" was great. Give us more of that Gotd style!

Not only a very cool rip through "Miss You," but even snuck some "Push" in there. No B/S, Lemmo, that's easily one of the best tunes I've heard in the past year. Oh yeah, and I guess the guitar's kinda OK, too.
That sounds so smooth when you play the riff and switch to the lead with no background. At least he ain't mudding it up with the ditto. Those moments are best saved for private.

It's been a minute since we had a vintage strat. That case is sick.
"Been a minute, lol! And I agree about the case. There was only a relatively short period when Fender used those blonde-ish cases with the black leather ends. My favorite. I'm actually wondering if it is original to the guitar, because by 1965 the cases would have been black for a couple years.

That was my favorite soda when I was a kid.that guitar appears to play like I'm the one who set it up because it seems like it was built for me I wish I had the money.even the pickup height is the same way I would do mine with that slightly slanted neck pickup.

The color that ivory faded to is quite amazing. I think I've only seen that shade in rel ivory. (RIP, elephants of the world.) Sounds every bit as good as it looks. No wonder you lust after it!
