- In this video I'll be showing how to restore metal/chrome window trims that has been oxidized and waterstain-ed. Also, I'll be showing how I apply OSREN Coatz 02 Absolute Metal Coating onto the metal window trims.

can this work on black anodized roof rail? my Macan Turbo OEM roof rail is a disaster. it show like discoloration and stain like dry washing machine soap.
Hey there! I don't recommend polish anodized chrome, especially if it's not chrome finish. What approach have you tried ?

What if the metal trim is black? And rusting in spots?
Is it good for Night Pack crome too?
Hey Chiorean Cezar, I did a google search on Night Pack Chrome, but couldn’t find what it is. I would assume you mean window trims that are of metal/chrome but the finishing is black?
whats the best way to tell the difference of chrome plating window trim and metal? Would a magnet be easiest?
Hi Arthur, magnets are not the best way to test out chrome as these parts are usually manufactured to be not ferromagnetic.
We have an updated chrome polishing method where all that needs to be differentiated is matte finishing or reflective finishing.

Would you recommend the same treatment for anodized aluminum trim?
Hi LJJSA, For anodized trim, since it's very thin and mostly matte, I don't suggest polishing with this method.

Hey, yes! in fact we recommend to polish and clean it before wrapping
Good job Henry.. this is chrome color frame? How about black matte metal frame? is it work with same method here without damage to original color? since it is matte color.
If it's matte, you can still polish it to remove the waterstains. However over polishing it will make it glossy and ruin the finish of it being matte.
ohh..but it is better seeing over glossy color instead of matte with waterstains. haha. tq ur feedback.

What if we don't have access to pneumatic tools? By hand possible?
It can also be done with an electric powered rotary and a (at least) 3" backing plate + wool. By hand, possible, if the stains are very mild.
I used Mothers Mag and Aluminum cleaner by hand on the trim, works perfect by hand to very quickly it looks clean, just also use masking tape so it doesn’t affect the paint or window

Will this method work on acid stained chrome trim. My car's trim was cleaned with acid and they left it on to long. We your system help me.

If yu hav a ca then yu can do it so shake mongolian caann while me talk with spped tool working but resul great supe clear then put mongolia beef is easy just use the cuten applicaror and appy
what if you just use a cloth and wipe really fast with the metal polish abrasive haha! not everyone has an air intake polisher 😪
Hey Joe, if the watermark isn't that bad, yes possible. If it's bad, don't bother, send it to a professional, not worth breaking your arm for.

HI Skar516, we recommend the usage of product with a machine. WIth hand, there will be minimum or unsatisfactory result.

How do you prevent this from happening. Just about to buy a new Mercedes.
Hey there, to prevent watermark, we recommend not allowing water to dry on the surface. So regular weekly washes will help. Application of metal coating would also help to stall watermark from formation.
