Looks like a nice model. I've still got the original 1/72nd Airfix one of this kit made by my dad, a long time ago. I liked the fact that it had a smooth underside, so it could be slid along the carpet, simulating a maritime attack on the baddies! (They were so useful those Airfix 1/72nd soldiers).
The gentleman who did Classic Airframes also did Aero Master paints and decals, as well as the Kendall line of cockpit and detailing sets. The paints were by Poly Scale; the decals many times were by Cartograph of Italy. All are alas, no more...
Great review, Peter! 10 out of 10. I'll have to keep an eye out for this at the model show near me in the Fall. I've got the 1/72 HobbyBoss Seahawk in progress on the Flory Models forum. One of these days I need to finish it. It's so close!
Hi Peter. Have you noticed that ‘the golden years of matchbox art’ by Roy Huxley was published last year? Surely it’s worth a review on its own 😀 keep up the superb reviews anyway
enjoyed your video, thanks for sharing

Thanks, I will look it up...I am a massive fan of his work, he sold the kits for me. Cheers. 😃

8 out of 10? Hmmm, okay you're worth it.
The Decals are for the RN and the Dutch navy, the Dutch have the ORANGE CIRCLE IN THE MIDDLE, the Czechs dont,
Yes, I did correct myself and re-stated they were Royal Netherlands Navy when I saw it in the instructions.
