- I found this video when looking over my dragonball z collection and i used to love this advert so i thought i would share it with everyone and anyone who remembers. Before anyone asks i don't know what the music is it sounds like a toonami remix?!?!

Ha! Best advert ever made, whoever put this together at Toonami is a GENIUS.
I remember trying to get a hold of this song for years. The song was also used on an advert from "Holiday Showdown" on ITV around the same time and when I heard it I immediately sent an email off to ITV (yes I know it's sad) and they were very helpful in sending me details of where they purchased the song from. I couldn't get a copy myself as it's from a library of stock songs that I couldn't get access to published by Extreme Muisc Library, (it still seems a pain to get access to by the looks of the site.) For those who don't know Kent's music is featured in a lot of media but he's usually credited with various spellings of his surname (see www.imdb.com/name/nm2398883/) and to those who say they heard the song on WWE - it wouldn't surprise me as "Ollie Starfish" (the Dudley Boys theme) is one of his tracks from "Skate Punk".

OMG I never thought I'd see this ad after it disappeared from Toonami. Probably the most memorable advert of all time! It kept me glued to the TV whenever it came on. Couldn't get enough of that phenomenal guitar riff. Thanks for posting!!

Gawd, this is pure nostalgia. Back in the days where even here in the UK we could watch awesome stuff. Shame I was only like 7 and didn't really know what anime was yet.
I had this promo on an old batman cartoon video tape which had an advert for Toonami at the start...wish I hadn't carbooted it now to get the dvd version.

OMG!!! I remember this advert! Me and my sister used to wait for it so we can tape it! We managed to tape the really long one the 9mins one which was quite rare! Does anyone remember that? It had the original Tom on it....

2001, fuck, man... I've been looking for this, I remember when my dad bought my little brother (and himself) the Batman: Return of the Joker video, and this was one of the trailers included - I absolutely loved it. Tenchi excited me so much... it's just as cool, if not cooler today! haha.
This was the peak of toonami when this advert was goin about, the coolest shows u could ever hope for all on 1 channel. it was amazing! i wish they would change toonami back to this rather than the crap they got now......... toonami 2001 was sex for the eyes and ears!

I then rolled up a magezine and ran round the room trying to hit it.
With the awesome music playing in the background I felt like a bit of a bad ass.
