If you pull off the case abit you wont dislodge the adjuster correct? Another guys vid says to loosen bolt then take totally off and inspect gears then just finger tight on tensioner screw to seat against chain. Have you had any problem the way you did it? Coolant is to be skidoo only since it is pink? Can I top off with regular. It says for aluminum engines only?
Love all your videos. Question...when putting tension on the drive chain it's reconnected finger light. However this still allows slack when turning he primary clutch when moving it back and forth. Is this normal? I know on the two stokes finger tight the clutch has no movement back and forth. Hope you an help. Thanks
Not really needed. I just look at what I drain out and if I see no abnormal metal particles I don't worry. Never had any gear problems in thousands and thousands of miles on multiple brands. As for chain tension easier to do after fully assembled.
I’ve phoned 2 BRP dealerships in the area I live & they don’t sell a spring remover tool. Would you be able to post a pic of it. Thx. Muchly appreciated.
Not really best to stay with BRP stuff. You can use the auto parts store stuff made for asian cars toyotas etc. My buddy works at dealership and he has been using it for years with no issues. But he still recommends the factory stuff. I have used both also with no issues.

Is this the same process for a 900 ACE as well, or would that one be different?
Slighlty different
@@4SeasonBros Do you have a video for that as well? Or what is the difference between the two?
Get a torque wrench.
my 2011 1200 expedition is a lot easier. no need to tinker with the exhaust or whatever you were doing.... wow they really complicated it.
That looks like a total pita
