Hawksworth cut the nose off the Corvette, ran the Risi Ferrari off the track and blocked the Cadillac in turn 17, completely denying them any chance of catching the Acura. What a menace.

Agree with the first 2, but it's up to the faster cars to overtake. At some point Jack has to turn the car to make the corner it is just unlucky the Caddy got blocked but wasn't done because he wanted to block the Caddy

Winward Racing starting from last and finishing P1 AND also winning the Rolex this season is mind-boggling. Same with Era motorsport in lmp2, insane feats to pull off.

Nice video. A fun race to watch. The crash was really scary. Keep up the good work.

Glad Pipo walked away but people overreacted to that crash. The tire barrier did a hell of a job absorbing energy as it should and the resulting roll was slow.

I think the one thing IMSA should do is add Virtual Safety Car procedures to the series. Cause already 2 races in and there’s been times where a full course yellow has just not been needed. Daytona with the Sean Creech Motorsports LMP2 spinning out a billion times and most of the yellows coming out from them parked somewhere on the track, and Sebring with debris being on track. And some of those debris cautions were for something way off the racing line. Like yes definitely need to get it, but was it worth it to bunch the field back up? Like cautions for situations like Derani, the AF Corsa LMP2, Kathrine Legge’s crashes obviously yes bunch em up. But like a car stopped on track, 90% of the time off the racing line, and debris on track that is off the racing line but still needs to be attended to, put em under a VSC. As far as that, really good race. 2 for 2 with great races for this year. Really can’t wait til Long Beach and Imola next month.

I was disappointed the Korthoff AMG made an early exit. Otherwise it was another great race at Sebring.

Jonah personally i think that both acura more noticeable but also bmw have evolved and have closed the gap respect to porsche and cadilac who at daytona were one step ahead and sincerely we are finding again something more similar to the end of last year when all the brands were very, very close to each other.Another conclusion that I also find very interesting is that the Sc63 as a reliable car has been born very well and has completed both the Qatar and Sebring races without major problems.

Porsche and Cadillac closed the gap you mean. Acura was the car to beat last year even if they crashed at lot 🥲

Hope Acura can win more they can win IMSA this year so next year they can join Le Mans

Unless they have a WEC entry, they can't race at Le Mans.
Aswell, the IMSA entry for Le Mans for Hypercar isn't based off championship positions. It is who IMSA decides to give the entry too, they may decide to give it to the champion, granted they are eligible to race at Le Mans but it isn't necessary.
Whelen Engineering got the entry for 2023 when they came 5th in the IMSA championship in 2022. And that was because the 2 Acuras couldn't race at Le Mans, 1 of the Caddys was already entered through WEC and the other could enter through 1 car WEC entries getting priority for extra cars if there is space.

That's two races across different series where the 6 Porsche yeeted a GT3 and didn't get a penalty 🤔 they need to respect the other classes race as well man.

Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat belong onto the world stage! These two have the potential to turn Lexus' WEC effort around completely.

Tbf the Vasser Sullivan has been running the Lexus since 2019 and Akkodis has just started racing with it and they have done 1 race. So I would wait for a few more to see how Akkodis do before saying the team is bad.
Also apart from Proton with Ford and United with McLaren everyone else has been running the cars for atleast a year, and Proton also has Daytona so weren't coming in completely new.
