The 2024 Motul Course de Monterey is complete! The 4th round of IMSA's WeatherTech Championship season was a blast, and there is a lot to talk about. This is my race review breaking down all details of what happened during the Motul Course de Monterey Powered by Hyundai N held at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in 2024!

I was there in person too, for my first IMSA race! Man, I cannot even really describe the massive smile on my face and the adrenaline as I saw the cars come through on the formation lap by turn 4... It was SO damn cool.

Thanks for the review. I didn't see any of this race because of the time difference between California and Ireland. I like how there were different cars on each podium. Great competitiveness across all categories.

I'm starting to have a feeling Winward are gonna do what Paul Miller racing did with dominating the GTD class and then Graduate to the GTD Pro class next year.
Considering there's no GTD Pro merc rn it only reinforces that idea.

Caddy had this race but as usual, they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Aitken just gave up and dropped back multiple seconds after the miscue. They had it in the bag.

Seeing Rexy and the No. 6 Porsche win at the first IMSA event I attended was seriously the cherry on top, it being Rexy’s first win was even more beautiful.

Hey Formula Jonah, I'm new into the motorsports world. All I know now is Formula 1. Where can i learn the others such as GT3, GT4, hypercars. Le mans. Everything is a bit confusing for me. Any recommended vedios?

Acura's are struggling a bit. Another race out of reach for victory. They are the only manufacurer that doesn't compete in both IMSA and WEC and can we see disadventage of not running cars globally and getting a lot more track time? It's time to think about an antenna in WEC as they have an excellent car and could improve faster.

Cadillac just can't stop shooting themselves in the foot, they need to just stop trying to make aggressive moves around lower class traffic, obviously it doesn't work well for them, I just want an American team to do well :(
