    Hey, so 1st question when i plug mine in to my macbook pro laptop i didnt see those setting that you were talking about for the output and input. So can you tell me what to do there? 8:33
    9:39 okay so here you also have an XLR mic, your like the only person so far that is using one and not the Maono microphone which i also dont have. I have an audio condesnor technica mic that im using dor this mixer. I have a question here though so you said you had to again adjust the headphones when you plugged them in? What is that your using? OBS? Im confused ehat is that is that something that i need if i want to podcast / stream / youtube?
    10:37 i noticed your using bluetooth though, i dont see your using your phantom 48v? I have to use my 48v phantom buttom with my mic to be heard
    Cna you do a tutorial on how to use this mixer with a apple macbook pro laptop with a mic using a 48v please?

    • @TekToyzGaming
      @TekToyzGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the questions. Hope I can answer them now lol.
      First question, I was basically just setting my default input and output and output to the mixer on my pc. This way the xlr mic gets picked up and I can also hear any audio from my computer as well through the mixer. I was only using the MacBook as a Bluetooth input. Recording was done through a pc.
      2. If I’m using a mixer I am definitely using an xlr dynamic mic. Mixers for the most part don’t work with usb mics.
      3. This mic does not require phantom power. Higher end and xlr condensers however may need it. I am using OBS for the recording. You need something like this to record and stream effectively.

    Great review! What is the sample rate of the mixer? The Fifine SC3 has 16bits/48khz and the only valuable feature missing in C2 Neo is a quick mute button. Not sure if the end users prefer to slide down a fader instead to push sinlge button.

    • @TekToyzGaming
      @TekToyzGaming  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for checking this out. So the sample rate on this unit is 48kHz /6bit with frequency response at 20Hz-20kHz. Not too shabby. Yea I suppose the slider mute is a little extra work. Or even just turning the gain knob down.

    • @RoverWire
      @RoverWire 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TekToyzGaming thanks for reply, I saw that rate on the maono page and I think there is a typo, since 6 bits is too poor, and the other interfaces are on 48kHz /16bit, seems the same rate than the Fifine SC3. Betweent this and the fifine, Which one do you prefer and why?
      Personally I like the mute button but the noise reducer is useful, I can't decide! hahaha

      Good question! If you’re using this with your pc and it’s powered on most of the time then you can leave it connected to it as it gets charge that way just much slower. Or you can leave connected to power as well. It works while it’s connected to power and usb. This will also work with mv7 and bigger mics as it provides 48v where needed. Good thing the mv7 doesn’t require phantom.

    I see that you keep up with your comments so if you don't mind answering the question for me I just got my moanocaster for Christmas and would like to know why is it that my microphone isn't recording my sound regardless of what platform I'm on If I plug in my phone and simply try to get on Facebook and make a story It doesn't pick up from my microphone but picks up from my phone But if I get on a platform for streaming it automatically knows that my mic is my source of sound. Is it that the soundboard needs to be registered if you speak by the platform that I'm on? Could you recommend a platform to record audio on before I put it on a different platform? Even though I'm only at the beginning of the video I don't understand how I can connect my Bluetooth device but I still need to plug it out with an auxiliary cord. I thought the Bluetooth link for my phone to the device will take place of me needing a physical cord to record

    • @TekToyzGaming

You can't talk with the XLR mic connectivity to the mixer and channel that out through bluetooth to a phone for example, not even for calls. I am not sure what platforms will do this, there are many. The only way I can see this working with a phone is using the line out with a 3.5mm aux cable. I just upgraded my iphone to 15 and I dont currently possess a usbc to 3.5mm to connect it this way test this out at the moment unfortunately. Hello there. Is your yeti mic usb? If so, it won’t work with this mixer unfortunately. Not even with an adapter.

      @@melanieasurto6118 the issue is the conflict of usb mics already having built in “mixer” functionality (mute, gain, monitor controls). Also usb mics need power to run which you don’t get from the 3.5mm port. You basically risk damaging the mixer or mic trying to make it work.

    I know this is an older video but maybe you will get this comment. I can’t for the life of me figure out why the mic monitoring for mine doesn’t work. I plug my headphones into the “stream out” port halfway I can faintly hear myself but if I plug it in all the way I can’t hear anything. In the “headphones” port I can only hear audio from my computer but not from my mic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • @TekToyzGaming
      @TekToyzGaming  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the question. The headphone port is the monitoring port for all audio including the mic. Be sure to check that none of the mute buttons below are toggled on and the mic gain and volume are both up. For some reason some of those buttons get toggled on upon every reboot. Also are you using an adapter to connect your mic or headset to the mixer? And does the mic audio come out normally on the final output/recording? Or is it isolated only to the monitoring? Does your mic require phantom power? Sorry I have more questions than you do lol

      Check to see if loopback was turned on. This allows the rerouting of internal audio back into the interface.
