No this will not power high impedance headphones. You will still need to use an amp to power those. Only down side to that is that you can't press and hold down the censor button/sound in order to sensor everything you want to censor. It'll have to be a set length of the censor sound that will either play too short or long for what you want to censor.
No, first of all, the XLR adapter is one way round, it won't work from USB to XLR. Next, usb mics are built to get rid of the external mixers. if you want to bypass the internal one of your USB mic, which is a quite large part of what you paid for a USB mic, then it's better not to get a USB mic in the first place. That means, if you haven't planned to upgrade your setup, just stick with the quadcast, which is pretty good enough tbh.

Thank you!! I had to get rid of my goxlr because it just kept restarting and crashing all my apps using it. Just ordered the fifine because I’ve heard so many good things about it!
I just got mine. I hear a little static noise when I plug my IEM into the headphones spot. is there something i am doing wrong? thanks
Not sure on this one. Do all devices connected to that port create that static issue?
@@TekToyzGaming i picked up a ground loop noise isolator and removed the problem immediately
@@thelopez0194 oh nice move. You’re talking about the inline isolator. So they actually work. Thanks for sharing that 👍🏽
@@TekToyzGaming yes sir they do. Is there a video on how to separate game / chat mix ?
@@thelopez0194 I don't have a video on this specifically. Not totally sure you can even do that with this device without a third party app or physically connecting your game audio to a separate aux channel somehow.
Thumbs up, ordered bc of this review. Keep up the good work. Edit; went back and removed it and used your affiliate link.
Hey there! Thanks I definitely appreciate your support. A lot of devices I check out on this channel I buy with my own money so every little counts 😃. Hope you like the SC3

Question I have the FIfine RGB headset with mic! So where do I plug in audio jack from sc3 also I’m on Pc
Hi. If the headset has a 3.5mm Jack then can just use the headset port. If usb you will need an adapter.
I think you referred to the H6 USB headset, that model doesn't work with the SC3, you have to use it with the 3.5mm headset.
What mic are you using
@@JollyBean-360 that’s the fifine AM8. Sounds ok?
@@TekToyzGaming yeah it’s good I just wanted to know
does it have real time monitoring?
Absolutely does 👍🏽
@@TekToyzGaming I ask because I got both maonocaster and comica caster c2 amd both have a delay on th monitoring outputs and that's a dealbraker for me
@@marfigue777 listening to myself in monitoring on sc3 is one of the better real time monitors. Better than the Maonocaster c2 Neo. Haven’t tried the Comica one out.
I can’t believe! I thought I could put my earphones and I could hear the sound of my Pc. As I’m seeing I if I put my earphones I can just hear my voice right?😩 I have to delete the order I guess
@@elvismalo2628 you can hear your pc. You have to set the sc3 as the default audio playback device on your pc.
@@TekToyzGaming You think so? I tried the same thing with a live card sound, I tried that but I couldn’t . I usually play Warzone but it didn’t work. Hopefully this one will work, thanks for your answer!

Can you use this for a dual pc streaming set up
Yes this works for dual pc streaming. Fifine confirmed it on their Amazon page as well. www.amazon.com/ask/questions/Tx35B05W0MXIT5B/?
instant cop becuase i thibk i want to start streaming or even make a podcast
Go for it my friend. We only live once and don’t want to regret not having tried🤙🏽
What kind of xlr cable do u recommend for the mixer and does it matter what kind of boom arm u use for the fifine am8
Honestly I don’t think either of these matter. Fifine takes both sizes and a standard xlr will suffice.
May i know your mic used in this video?
I used the Fifine am8. Sounds decent?
which is a better one to buy between the FIFINE Gaming Audio Mixer, VS FIFINE Amplitank SC1 Recording Audio Interface
Thanks for the question. There’s really no better one here. Depends really on what you want to use it for. If for gaming and streaming the sc3 will do better. If you don’t need all the voice changing and rgb features the sc1 will be better. Same goes for podcasting.
i have to buy an amp for my dt990 pro 250 ohm would this work to its full potential for it
@@SmileyOnGfuel it should work just fine especially if you have the amp.
Any idea if this can provide phantom power to a mic and have the power for dt 990 pro 250 ohms? My scarlet solo cant handle the headphones so I have to use a secondary amp currently.
No this will not power high impedance headphones. You will still need to use an amp to power those.
I'll add as well, most audio interfaces will not have sufficient power for high impedance headphones. And it is perfectly okay to use an audio interface and an amp. That's what I do as well as many others.
I use a yamaha MG10XU and it powers high impedence cans and well as mics.
Fifine Sc3 is one of the best budget cost under $50 is absolutely great for this mixer.
Yea Nothing this good at this price point that I know of.
@@TekToyzGamingyou're right 👍
My only problem is that all of my recordings have a horrible shhhhhhhhhhhh background sound
Hmmm. Need to root out the source of that sound. Could be a cable somewhere if it’s loud. Could be mic. Are you using xlr or usb ?
Hello. great video. does a shure mv7 over xlr work? Do you know that maybe?
Thanks for the feedback. A Shure mv7 should work fine with this over xlr. Provides 48v if more power needed.
@@TekToyzGaming good. thx…
what if my headset uses usb to connect
It’s not recommended by fifine to use usb with this mixer.
is the mic monitor easy to adjust? I was unsure if the slider above the button is overall volume or just mic monitor volume. Maybe it's both? if you could clear this up for me I would appreciate it.
Another good question. The mic monitor slider will adjust overall audio monitoring… except audio coming in from usbc input.
@@TekToyzGaming ok gotcha. Thanks a ton Mr.
Nice, so how does it actually sound for gaming...?
@@Boemtie it only sounds as good as the far end persons headphones sound . If they have trash speakers then sounds like trash.
I just need a device to control music volume while playing a game. i don't stream, I don't use a separate mic. Need Just a device so that I can control music volume while playing. Any recommendations?
Just to control game audio? I initially did that with just a headset that has a volume rocker on it. Are you also not using a headset?
@@TekToyzGamingnot game audio, music volume in the background, so I have the game running on 60% volume and I want to be able to control the spotify volume for example in a clutch situation, to quickly turn the spotify volume down momentarily. (I am using in ear (earphones).
@@johnrodes4859 a little tricky since it sounds like your talking about controlling/adjusting audio sources of apps independently in pc audio mixer settings. Not sure if there’s hardware that does that. Might need to use something like OBS and set Spotify as a source and then a hot key to mute that source. Never actually done it myself though.
@@TekToyzGaming i see... well appreciate the help.
Clearly a biased video, wish everyone wasnt bought and paid for on these reviews
They don’t pay enough to be bought. And I think the Maono C2 Neo is a better budget option.
i know bone thugs lol sub for that
I just wanted to know if I can use this without a goxlr or fifne mic because I have a maono and don’t wanna purchase another mic
If you have a Maono mic and it is xlr then you can use it with this mixer.

Just to have an idea. Can I connect an outer microphone that has a type c or a normal USB?
Really only xlr mics work with this. Or a gaming headset mic combo.
Would this work on consoles?
You can, but it’s a little of a workaround for that. Check out this video for a setup with Xbox th-cam.com/video/7ubTNR6TOiY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bCDvO-SofwM5ZGzZ
Is it necessary to hook up the aux but also have a headphone jack hooked to it?
@@Jayden-g4k3r not sure exactly what you mean. The headphone jack is an aux connection. Do you mean aux line in from another device?
The voice changers were kinda funny, the “male” voice reminds me of the “MIU! I told you we needed more glitter.” From the trolls movie
Can you use 1 of the 4 custom buttons as a censor button (with the bleep sound)?
Absolutely. You can use it for ANY sound. Just add your own censor sound you would like.
Only down side to that is that you can't press and hold down the censor button/sound in order to sensor everything you want to censor. It'll have to be a set length of the censor sound that will either play too short or long for what you want to censor.
@@johnrodriguez2372 Yea that is correct. It will just play the sound of the recording. So no real cough button.

absolutely my friend. along with the all the effects and features. just gotta mac sure the mixer is the the mic input device in settings.
Blasphemy…. You name Bone With auto tunes.
🤣. Facts. They did not need that!
Would this work if I got an xlr adapter for my hyper x quad cast s
I’m a little sketchy with converting usb to xlr. It may or may not ok work.
@@FIFINE thanks for that info. You rock.
This thing would be awsome if it didnt need a wire to connect
Yea that’s one of the draw backs. No internal battery 🔋

why does my headset start to echo when i plug it in?
Could be a few reasons. You could possibly have a voice effect on. There could be another audio capture device on. Could be the unit is defective. Does you headset have a built in mic? Have you tried with another headset to confirm it’s not the headset? Is the echo just through the monitoring or the recording/stream? What port is the headset plugged into on the mixer? Several variables as here.
