Most are very laid back mine saw me practicing before so he only made me do 2 fig 8’s stopped me did weave came down shift up in to 2nd stop on dot or line helps took 2 or 3 minutes
It's crazy watching the different PA tests and how much they vary from location to location. I've never seen additional cones inside the box for the figure 8. Some of them have lines painted for the stop and want you to stop by a certain point, others have a box and just want your front tire in that box. My bike doesn't have 4 way flashers, not sure what that guy would say about that. : P
@@TylerLarew if ur bike dont have them they dont have them they wont care its no big deal if the bike does have them then you have to show they work thats all they know all bikes dont have 4 ways
Those cones seem so confusing to me. I guess you have to imagine a figure eight there? It would’ve be better if they drew a figure 8 in chalk. I would’ve been so lost
Yeah you just have to stay in the rectangle formed by the outer cones and cut through the 2 inner cones where the 8 crosses in the middle. You can go either direction
When I was practicing I imagined the stretch between the two cones having an x in the middle you had to cross over the x five times. That how I got it at least and I hope it helps in some way :)
I did not. I started on dirt bikes as a kid, so street riding came pretty naturally to me. And I rode for over a year with a permit before taking the endorsement test
Not at all! But I suppose that can depend on your bike and amount of experience. My bike is very light. I just had to slip the clutch a lot to keep it going. Definitely practice on your own before attempting the test though
I went to punxy today and failed , failed yesterday too on a 2020 r3 the instructor said it’s the turn radius on my bike :( hopes aren’t high right now
Practice before you try again. When you’re doing the figure 8’s, just feather the clutch. I don’t think I used any throttle. Just clutch to give me the little bit of acceleration I needed to stay moving
Yeah it’s pretty easy. A new rider will just need to practice the figure 8s before taking the test. They’re not hard though if you’re used to your bike
Your instructor was so laid back! I hope I get one like that.

Yeah I mean some bikes don't have hazard lights, so I am curios about that myself.

Thanks for the video, I’m taking my test tomorrow on my 2020 honda monkey, I imagine it shouldn’t be too hard on that.
Best of luck!

Awesome sauce 👌 stay safe out there 🙏
Little late, but the MSF is free in PA, just sign up for basic, go for two days, get license, it's super easy, and free =)
so is this test & its only 5 min lol
So is the license test
Thanks for sharing! Is this place just off route 50?
Yup that’s the one! Behind the Giant Eagle
@@MuddyTubMedia Cool 👍 I'll be heading there soon myself. Thanks!
There is also a sweet Chinese buffet right there that is a most excellent victory meal for when you pass!
Did you do the BRC course?
I did not. I started on dirt bikes as a kid, so street riding came pretty naturally to me. And I rode for over a year with a permit before taking the endorsement test
I have an electric motorcycle.. wonder what he’d say about me not being able to “shift” into 2nd or 3rd lol
Hmmm. Maybe it’s like a cheat code!
Is the figure 8 hard

Ride your rear brake to help stabilize the bike
@@VroomvroomNY my bike would stall if I rode either brake it would be easier for me to just feather the clutch in & out whole time
that was the complete test beginning to end?
Yup that was the whole thing
