Go find yourself a nice stocked trout lake in your state!Many places are stocked with people like you in mind and are easily accessable for all!
In the same boat, I'm 73. Don't get out much anymore. But every once in a while I can still do it once, every couple of months can be tough but it's worth it, but I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm just very careful with the places. I choose easy access. Don't be discouraged, just age.. And you're right, thanks to John. We'll get to go a lot more places.

I love Cummins Falls & Cummins Falls State Park in Cookeville Tennessee. My wife and I hike and visit it a couple times each year. There are several other awesome spots nearby! We still need to link up sometime man give me a shout & keep up the great work!

Little River Canyon National Preserve is an awesome spot as well just down river from the falls you were at is some great fishing and swimming at the hippie hole

John the first video was so beautiful, a perfect senerio, but you be careful climbing around & I know you are but just wanted encourage you, but love these adventures you take us on, something that most likely I will not ever be able to do, because of my age & ability! Years ago I was adventurous like you, there was no you tube then to show what all I did, but if there was I might not have captured it, God has blessed you with this channel for people like me! 👍🎣
Took my niece to one of those “tourist stop” waterfalls early this morning. Always take my rod, just in case. Got 2 unexpected brook trout 🤣

John in Colorado I fished for trout high in the Colorado mountain lakes I’m realizing people love fishing rivers, streams and lakes in the mountains it literally takes your breathe away and tells you You are home!

It’s hard to gauge how much water actually flows in these waters. Waterfall shows that.

I haven’t kayaked up to the base of Burgess Falls yet but we’ve hike it a ton I wish they’d rebuild the stairway from the top of the falls to the base. A storm took them out years ago and they’ve never been repaired or replaced sadly.

There’s all kinds of awesome spots near Little River in Alabama look up Yellow Creek Falls it’s a waterfall set on a lake with some great fishing.
i have been there once and it was awesome
You’re videos made me go out and buy a light set-up today,to hit up the local lake to bank fish for bluegill and small bass, hope Sunday isn’t a washout , Upstate New York Albany area

Do you have your chest strap setup so the gopro is near you chin? I've been experimenting and there is way too much hands/arms in the way of the action. Mine is setup to be right at the diaphragm area.
