Hayward should go back to Boston on a minimum. They have 1 roster spot open and they are stacked so it won’t matter if he can stay healthy or not. Best chance to get a chip.
Gordon Hayward is Chandler Parsons 2.0 but with a "career ending injury". Although I Parsons wasn´t willing to commit 100% to training in Dallas but Hayward joining the Hornets for more money and a lesser role was pretty much the same
Maybe the Wolves are evaluating what they have with Dillingham before they ask a reunion with Tyus Jones? I'd assume that they'd rather have both, but maybe not if Dillingham plays well in Summer League.
Tyus Jones will end up on Clippers, Gary Trent Jr on Lakers, Luke Kennard back to Memphis, Issac Okoro to Nets, Gordon Hayward to Kings off the bench with Monk
Im not sure Gordon is seeking a minimum contract. Im amazed he got what he did from Charlotte post recovery in Boston but the problem with him is 1. Injuries 2. Playability. If he cant break the lineup at OKC when he has all those tangible benefits there are other issues. And those issues would probably be will he be healthy when we need him, will he take way less than his prior 30 million and will he pout if hes not playing? Low risk: depends on price. High reward: unlikely.
I love when players gamble on thier selves and take a minimum to prove the world wrong. Todays underdog stories. I want to see Gary Trent & Precious or Gordon on the 76ers
The Lakers should sign Gordon Hayward, he's an offensive threat and they could use another one of those. He would also give their rookies some time to ac-lament themselves in the league.
This is a consequence of the 2nd apron. I have no idea why the players agreed to this. They’ve effectively turned the NBA into the NFL style of valuing players
Probably coulda pointed out the reason why nobody wants these players, the days of “just a shooter” are over. This isn’t the 90’s, you gotta at least be 3 and d.
@@LetsTalkAbout1125 yes, but that’s irrelevant. He signed a 90 million dollar contract as a pure shooter, that proves that you don’t need to be 3 and d.

While I agree Hayward definitely has the talent and should get a contract somewhere, it seems a bit odd to not mention that he was constantly injured, which may be why teams are reluctant (or maybe he is still pushing for a large contract?). If he could stay healthy for one hot minute I believe he'd still be worth a 15-20m deal
Kennard will get like 8-10 from someone. But unless his defense improves the guy is not a starter for a team serious about winning a chip. And if he just a bench guy, a lot of different lanes teams can go down instead. Could be a defender or a rebounder or creator instead of a shooter.
Not many NBA teams have the cap space to pay 10 to 15 million a year for solid role players at this time. I can see the New York Knicks getting 1 or 2 of these guys.
Gordon Hayward not taking accountability for his short stint in okc turned off a lot of other GMs anyone who watched him play he refused to take shots he was out there to get cardio, and he blamed the coaching staff lol
Trent just needs to find a team with minutes and sign a one year deal. The Raptors didn't have the minutes for him to demonstrate his value. But like Kennard he is a subpar defender and that will always limit his value. Hayward is perpetually injured and you cannot invest much into him. My guess is that he is looking for more than the minimum.
GTJ got screwed over by Rich Paul already ruined his chances btw Rich Paul is a terrible, terrible agent who still get a pass just because he's LeBron friend, but at this point Gary Trent best chances is to take a 1 year deal with the Denver Nuggets. Nikola Jokic is the best value raiser, floor raise and paycheck getter in the league. If you play with Nikola Jokic the next year you gonna get a massive contract. Look at KCP,MPJ,Jamal,AG,Brown,Jeff Green,JaMychael Green,Will Barton,Monte Morris,Gary Harris. Every single player who was at DEN and played significant minutes with Nikola Jokic got a massive boost on their contract deals right afterwards. If you want to "revive" your value and career Denver is the perfect places to pick a 1 year deal. Heck everyone should just sign with DEN is the perfect system to regain value. Tyus and GTJ would be great a DEN
The new CBA has put a stranglehold on every good teams ability to spend otherwise I can guarantee you that Tyus Jones and at least Gary Trent would not still be available right now. There's at least five or six teams that could use Tyus Jones and Gary Trent Jr and one of them is the suns, but they have no money at all.
Nuggets could use these guys and a lot of other teams, it's probably that they just can't get the $ amount they want and are waiting for better offers.

I'd get it more if he wasn't being played but he saw the court a fair amount and didn't play well enough to see it more. Regardless of fit if you don't capitalize on your opportunity you aren't going to play.
@@brandonbeglin2379
Maybe you are right. I guess we will see how it plays out.
The nuggets really need to sign one of these player to help out with the bench badly.
Sign Hayward, Trent and Jones.
Hayward should go back to Boston on a minimum. They have 1 roster spot open and they are stacked so it won’t matter if he can stay healthy or not. Best chance to get a chip.
Gordon Hayward is Chandler Parsons 2.0 but with a "career ending injury". Although I Parsons wasn´t willing to commit 100% to training in Dallas but Hayward joining the Hornets for more money and a lesser role was pretty much the same
I think gary trent jr would fit on the warriors now that gp2 has windled down since his injuries and no klay. Cmon now. Someone pick this guy up.
Two words : Second apron. The new rule no-one completely understands
The fact bronny and giddy and such have guaranteed contracts just means I should have declared for any draft.
The new CBA is changing roleplayers contracts and a lot of teams are still stuck on a lot of bad contracts that worked on the old CBA.
Kennard is more than a shooter, he can create but the league looks at him and calls him a shooter, but he can make plays off the dribble as well
Gordon Hayward is cheeks
Always has been in my opinion. He was average at best in Utah and then teams kept giving him the max even though he played worse and worse.
Maybe the Wolves are evaluating what they have with Dillingham before they ask a reunion with Tyus Jones? I'd assume that they'd rather have both, but maybe not if Dillingham plays well in Summer League.
Gordon Haywood still being in the nba is honestly very impressive 😂 I thought that dude would be forced out years ago
Gordon Hayward was a trash disappointment for the Hornets. Missed way too many games to justify his contract.
The backing track is the worst 😂
Team realize that even tho there good 3 point shooters left now of them ain’t worth 20 million kings ain’t want to pay monk he better than all of them
The Lakers should sign Gordon Hayward, he's an offensive threat and they could use another one of those. He would also give their rookies some time to ac-lament themselves in the league.
This is a consequence of the 2nd apron. I have no idea why the players agreed to this. They’ve effectively turned the NBA into the NFL style of valuing players
the thumbnail dudes have the same exact build lol
I'd personally like to see Hayward in Dallas or the Heat... when he was younger xdd
But maybe the Knicks could put him to good use now.
Probably coulda pointed out the reason why nobody wants these players, the days of “just a shooter” are over. This isn’t the 90’s, you gotta at least be 3 and d.
That’s just not true😂 Duncan signed a 90 million dollar contract as a pure shooter.
pistons need em
@@bradeskiithat was and still is one of the worst contracts.
@@LetsTalkAbout1125 yes, but that’s irrelevant. He signed a 90 million dollar contract as a pure shooter, that proves that you don’t need to be 3 and d.
@@bradeskii and now nobody wants him, those days were still around when he got that crazy contract.
I don't really care about these players not getting a contract; the NBA is BROKEN why no one HIRED Jeremy Lin and let go Ernes Kanter?
Bucks have interest in Gary Trent Jr but they can only offer him the vet minimum sadly, so it's highly unlikely unless the Bucks trade someone on the current roster
Atlanta Hawks pick up point Guard Ty Jones Shooting guard Gary Trent Jr From free agency Would be Nices
CBA. If your team ain't no play-in hopeful now, rename them 'The Tanks'.
Kennard will get like 8-10 from someone. But unless his defense improves the guy is not a starter for a team serious about winning a chip. And if he just a bench guy, a lot of different lanes teams can go down instead. Could be a defender or a rebounder or creator instead of a shooter.
Interesting that there are 3 former DUKE University Players on this List.
Gary Trent has too many games with points zero rebounds and assists
Not many NBA teams have the cap space to pay 10 to 15 million a year for solid role players at this time.
I can see the New York Knicks getting 1 or 2 of these guys.
All of the first 3 guys played for Duke. All around the same time too. Weird coincidence
If a contender don't pick him up this year , it's safe to say he's in retirement mode (Hayward).
Where is Dinwiddie
Well Gordon Hayward would be a good signing if you need someone to log some solid cardio off the bench.
Tyus and trent jr wanted more money that's why there are still out there
Gordon Hayward not taking accountability for his short stint in okc turned off a lot of other GMs anyone who watched him play he refused to take shots he was out there to get cardio, and he blamed the coaching staff lol
tyus jones would be a good fit in san antonio
Tyus to the Nuggets Trent to the Nets Kennard to Miami Okoro to Wizards Gordan to Cavs
Noone cares but if that graph shows watch time from subscribers how the hell are 61% not subdcribed
lakers gonna watch this video rubbing their hands after failing to acquire klay and demar
Everyone loves Hayward it’s just injury worries
Trent just needs to find a team with minutes and sign a one year deal. The Raptors didn't have the minutes for him to demonstrate his value. But like Kennard he is a subpar defender and that will always limit his value. Hayward is perpetually injured and you cannot invest much into him. My guess is that he is looking for more than the minimum.
trent had 28 minutes per game and was a starter, how did he not get the minutes to demonstrate his value?
Lakers should get Kennard.
Phoenix should get Tyus.
I’m not a big fan of Okoro or Hayward
Gary Trent could be used in Denver with no KCP.
hayward can be useful on the grizzlies they have hole in sf
Hayward is bunz now dude
The new CBA has put a stranglehold on every good teams ability to spend otherwise I can guarantee you that Tyus Jones and at least Gary Trent would not still be available right now. There's at least five or six teams that could use Tyus Jones and Gary Trent Jr and one of them is the suns, but they have no money at all.
Happy to see the Gordon Hayward shell game Ponzi scheme may finally be coming to an end
The nuggets should sign any one of these guys minus Hayward but especially tyus with all the time Murray misses and reggie jackson being gone
As a raptors fan, there is nothing valuable about Gary Trent
Man the Suns need to pick up Tyus Jones.
Nuggets could use these guys and a lot of other teams, it's probably that they just can't get the $ amount they want and are waiting for better offers.
The new CBA rules are restricting teams to go big
In nba2k24 Kennard is a beast.
Luke a beast on anything is hilarious 😂
First 3 were all at Duke crazy
The lakers knicks and mavs should look to get Gordon Heyward he will plug in well with klay austin oand the knicks
Lakers need to sign kennard
hell no they wont make the playoffs D Lo, AR15 and Lebron are all defensive liabilities in the regular season
