@@butlervon3979dude averaged 18 last year on 43%fg and 39%3pm on a team with no shooting outside of Steph. He’s not the poa defender he used to be but had success guarding bigger players like Paolo, Tatum, kawhi, and KD. He’s gonna be your perfect 3rd option as an above the break 3 point shooter. One final point: would you rather have Derrick Jones Jr. sitting in the corner on offense or Klay?
@@jmi425 Your point about it being a good offensive fit is valid. However I just can't wrap my head around a luka, kyrie, klay lineup defending anybody with a pulse. I also really liked josh greens energy and overall improvement over the past few years, so trading him for a guy on his last leg felt weird to me. You have made me envision the upside of this move so lets see where it goes.
Nuggets can go after guys that would be much cheaper than KCP. Particularly Dennis Smith Jr & Danny Green (if he comes back).
Waiting on some woj bombs
WHYYYY omg nugqs and mavs, my two fave teams , are sooo dumb!?!?! Derrick jones was so key, and losing Josh Green, a rising young player for a washed old player. And nuggets KCP is crucial, qnd last year loseing bruce , it feels like they just content with their one championship.
Yea Nuggies are falling apart but Mavs have improved. They were paying Hardaway 17M to shoot 3s and now they are paying 17M to Klay whos better in every way. DJJ and Green were already replaced by equal players. DJJ was on minimum contract and all of a sudden people wanna act like hes a defensive superstar :D
KCP failed them in the series against the Timberwolves. He is good, but there can be more players to fill that role that are younger and much cheaper.
If Dallas can get their chemistry together, I might pick them to win it all after preseason
You can't win only with offense
@@thefebo8987 they have a great defense
Love watching knicks fans suffer lmao
