Here is a tip for getting much better audio with these remote connection interviews: Don't use the audio recorded from the remote software in the final edit. Instead, have each party record their own audio using some other audio recording device, or software. Then have them send their audio file to whoever does the final edit. The editor will then insert their much cleaner audio into the editing software. If the audio syncs at the beginning but not the end of the video, just stretch or shrink the audio track till it lines up all the way through. Stretching audio just a little bit gives cleaner results than stretching video just a little bit because audio is essentially thousands of "frames" (samples) per second.
All transistors are "physical" switches. The distinction you may be trying to make is "mechanical switches" vs. "electronic switches." And I seriously doubt there are any mechanical switches inside any laptop (other than keyboard keys). MUX is short for "multiplexor." And multiplexors are almost always electronic, except in pretty high-power situations.
I would love to see an update on this for the SLS2 verse the Asus ProArt PX13. I'm especially curious if the px13 has fixed the pen/touch issues (pen/touch lag, palm rejection, etc.).
After spending much time researching and learning about these two devices, I decided to purchase the z13 RTX 460 recently. My use case is Photoshop and doing some 3D work using After Effects. Having used the Z13 for about 3 weeks, I am at the point of returning mine for SSL2. I'm finding that the 16gb ram is simply not enough for my use, even though I am a beginner when it comes to After Effects. My Z13 hits 95% ram usage just running After effects alone, and I also get the low ram messages. Aso attaching and detaching the keyboard is an extra annoyance I don’t want - keyboard connection mechanism could easily snap with constant use, this does concern me. SS2 design will probably work better for me as the keyboard is always there when I need it, and I can use it in a tablet mode as well. My experience of using the Asus Pen hasn't been great either. I am a bit torn because I absolutely love the Z13, but 16gb ram is already proving to be a problem. SS2 with 32gb ram, RTX 450 is probably the one I am going for, although the gpu is a downgrade, 460 model is just too expensive for me.
hey so, In your opinion, should I get the surface laptop studio 2, the acronym edition z13 or the x13? they are all basically the same price, and I am planning to get one of them to mostly draw, coding and game development.
it's a tough choice. I think that there is some things I would consider. I would pick the z13 if you prioritize gaming and casual drawing, but drawing isn't the main thing. I'd choose the surface if drawing is the main thing and gaming is second. for coding, the surface for sure. beautiful typing experience. I'd choose the Surface over any of them if I had to start over, but that's for my needs, more drawing then gaming. (and it might be adjusted or fixed soon)
@@TabletPro hmmm. Well the professional drivers helped my display viewport in maya on my reg laptop computer. It was flickering. Was a thought since it all seems to be a display reaction issue.
Thank you for the detailed video. You are scaring me with your desire to upgrade the device due to bad palm rejection. I am about to go and buy the acronym z13 :\ Not sure I'll be able to test or return it. Have you tried Leonardo? It was designed for SP line, with separated inputs for pen and touch.
Yeh the pal rejection is pre bad but I’ve heard running the surface pen with it is much better or just buy a drawing glove, either way the s13 4060 is half the price of the studio and runs better
@@alexanderzhulin3528 make sure it has the latest bios as well , that seemed to fix so many problems for a lot of people , it also increased battery life by a lot
Surface Pen is much better than the slim pen 2 or the stock pen. R530 is also a very good choice. I've been really frustrated with the palm rejection issues so added a simple solution to the STUDIO app we make. It removes the super frustrating parts of the palm rejection issue but it's not elegant (but works) It makes it a mostly usable device.
Here in Australia, even the top tier laptop studio 2 only comes with 1tb ssd... Which absurd for $5730 AUD laptop. Do you think it's realistic to be running your files (photoshop) off micro-cards? Or will Microsoft be able to open up your laptop to increase the ssd while keeping the warranty? I'm looking at the 8tb gen4 m.2 for about $1500 😊. Cache sorted.
I think @cbutters has some info on replacing the ssd and I don't think it voids the warranty. But I'm not sure. He recently replaced his ssd with a 4tb version. I think that the files off the microssd cards would be fine, but takes longer to load.

Do you get a better drawing and touch experience with Studio Drivers in the z13?
Great question. I don’t think that affects it. But if anyone knows what is affected I’d love to know more

@@TabletPro Oh so the z13 not very good for drawing ? such a shame. Seems like a good computer.

Which device is which ?
The lower score is the z13 with 4050
