      c. All basic things that will help to get a good idea to accept a new assignment and settle

    I’m South African and the amounts are accurate, for a middle class to an upper middle class family.
    Having lived in Qatar for 7 years with my family, I’ll say money goes a long way in South Africa compared to Qatar. You can live a good life, nice car and a very nice house for much less.

    A question, please- I'm planning on moving to JHB later this year and have been doing research online. Most of what I have seen causes me to think SA in general and JHB specifically is not safe (crime, personal safety, racial tensions, etc). My question is: what is your own experience related to this? Would you consider making a video about it? I have watched your first video where you speak in general but I'd love to hear your take on this topic specifically.
    Thanks!

    • @NeetikaNakul
      @NeetikaNakul  4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      When we were moving to South Africa we read a lot of negativity regarding the crime and nothing else about the country. So we were motivated to make these videos to tell about other aspects of South africa. There is a lot more than just crime here. Crime does exist here and those who experience it suffer from it undoubtedly. But the country has a lot more to offer. You have to be vigilant and maintain a positive attitude. There are safer parts in Johannesburg where most expats live...and have a good life. Hope that gives you some idea 🙏

    Thank you so much for such an informative video. You guys have explained everything very nicely. Just 1 question as i am considering a job opportunity in Johannesburg- According to you, is R11000 per month enough for 1 person to live a good life in Johannesburg? Accomodation will be provided by the company.
    Thanks!

    Great job with the video but, I go to a public primary school in South Africa,Durban and it costs R28 000🤔
    Hight schools are likely to cost over R50 000, depending on the school
    Most private schools in South Africa will generally cost over R50 000 though even to R100 000 depending on the school

      Starting salary is low and due to the high unemployment rate it is difficult to get those jobs. Also expats are not eligible for those job as they are reserved for locals.
