Looking to possibly moving to Durban from Italy. How much Is a 20'000 rand a month before tax wage?
I've done all the conversion and looked up costs of living, but can't find anything reliable to the point of making a decision.

Like other parts of the world SA cost of living for food and lodging vary within the country. There is difference between say Cape Town and Polokwane or Port Elizabeth I would imagine.

Compared to Indonesia so many things are much more expensive, at least 2-3x the price here.. A cheap meal here cost R20 & a mid range resto less than R50..
Except for milk, bread, apples, tomatoes & gym membership which are the same..

The informations in this video aren't accurate. First the currency US dollars to Rand wasn't wrong. $1=14R.
Even on increasing values days, the parity doesn't expand higher like that. Other than, great image.🙏🏿

Malaysiia is far more developed than South Africa and less expensive for housing, food, study and entertainment and transport.SA is very expensive with low salary,no safety and only good shopping in white areas.
