Ralf pockets the 9, walk calmly over to Jeremy and shakes his hand. Still calm he walks away over to his chair, THEN he celebrates. I which the players of today could show this decency.
Jeremy is from the town next to mine, Baytown Texas. Use to see him at local pool halls all the time. He was always good but no one could predict how good he'd become
Watched him play at Rack 'um and played 9 ball tournaments against him, he was lights out even in his younger days. When he entered you just went through the motions and hoped there was enough for a losers bracket, so you had a shot a 2nd place.
Shit… 1997-98 was his prime.. I watched the guy beat a guy 27 games in a row playing one pocket, and when we got back to the hotel room I asked him why he didn’t let the guy win a game?.. He told me sometimes they won’t quit until they win a game..

Tell that to Jason Shaw...lol bouncing around like he's won the superbowl

they're trying to hype it up to generate interest
As well, the crowds were much more civilized then too. Mosconi fans today are fanatics.
Jermey ive traveled back in time to tell you. The shot clock still runs when having the ball cleaned. Remember this in 2021
I came from that video... A total mess :/
Ralf was pure class in celebration. So stark from today’s players who are celebrating on the 8 ball.
Thank God they've added a shot clock! Ralph is brutal to watch at times so slow!
That's why he's a "World Champion"
@@albert333pool Strickland, Efren and Django are also World Champions but they take way less time in shooting.
@@PatduDMD Agree 100% but we're not talking bout them. 🤷♂️
No doubt he's a absolutely great player. But not the easiest to watch
in this match he still kept a good pace. Ive seen him much slower. Best patternplayer of the early 00s

I'm the only on watchin this and I am ok with that. great match.
Amazing
I'm so stoked to mr Jones in a mosconi playing
What a beautiful match.
Song/theme music starting at 1:04?
Look at that BEAUTIFUL Brunswick Table.. 🤩
Much Smaller crowd even in 2002 this is an event that’s grown huge
Saw this live Corey Duel made an insane draw shot on the rail from one side of the table to the other🇺🇸
Is that the classic one that many have replayed here on TH-cam?
Excelentes jugadores. Jay Jay es grandioso , pero Ralf no perdonó, y demostró su temple de acero con elegancia y coraje.
Ralf looks the same as he did 20 years ago 💀💀💀💀
you are right. He's always looked old.
@@harper626 There is a video out there with Ralf having hair (!!!) I don't know if it's deepfake tho😁😁
Jeremy doesn't.

This guy Ralf is such a pain to watch. Thank God they now have shot clocks
I'm glad they use a shot clock now. Ralph is way too slow.
This is further evidence that my phone is listening to not even me, but external sounds and words 😂
What a fight from the Kaiser...!
Has JJ ever won a mosconi match?
Someone posted the all time W/L records for everyone who’s played in the event.. I wanna say JJ was 17-17, or maybe 17-18.. Something close to that..
If anyone else is watching this is 2021 tell Archer he owes Oscar money.
Even back then the German was in charge of the Europeans.
man the pockets were big back then
To bad JJ can't commentate his own matches.
when you have a pool match at 8am and a Best Buy shift at 2p-close
You dont wantvto wish bad for ur opponent...Nirvana

@@jacobjones5269 27 games ?? Did that take two weeks?
This game needed a shot clock lol
I wouldn’t play Ralf no matter what game he offered me even if I were stealing, his slow irritating play drives me nuts.
I’m here after watching joe rogan 😉
what a boring player Souquet is though
These guys are nothing compared to efren bata Reyes.
Here for Tabb, game and on mute, lol.
