  • USA are on the Mosconi Cup hill - can Earl Strickland get them over the line, or will Thomas Engert edge Europe to within a point of the defending champions?

    Love to see the Earl from those days. He had skill and sportsmanship. He stayed very composed the whole match. The earl today has been very different...Still enjoy his games though.

    If you have Earl Strictland, Johnny Archer & Corey Duel in any Mossconi Cup team it will be a tough team to beat.

    "Engert with an acute angle into the center". It's a dead, straight in shot. lol If the commentator was referencing the angle which the 2 ball had to travel into the center pocket, it's about 45 degrees. Hardly an acute angle. Cheers

    • @robmckennie4203
      @robmckennie4203 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Acute just means less than 90 degrees

      @@robmckennie4203 Or it means not A-ugly angle ;-) but yes, less than 90 deg is an acute angle, greater than 90 but less than 180 is obtuse.

      USA won previous 2 years back to back and every match this year was hill hill although Europe victory appeared lopsided.
      It’s obvious you were not paying attention.

      Europe won this year and we won the last 2 years and Europe won in 2017. I'd like to think that's competitive. Oh wait it is. Competitive-Relating to or characterized by competition. As good as or better than others of a comparable nature.

      What a strange comment to make about twenty year old tech. Anyway, nowadays, us Brits players are as good at Pool as Americans while Americans can't play Snooker. At all. Not remotely. Oh, and hope you enjoyed the Mosconi Cup this year? Love to our former colony. Enjoy our language, laws and culture.

      @@leeandrewclarke Except america has no real culture nor a decent language anymore. It's a free-for-all with the rich always on top and rest of us fending for table scraps. Oh yeah and as for laws, if you're rich enough, seems you can get out of mostly anything. When we left Britain, we left WAY too much behind. Anyone wishing to argue this point is simply not paying attention.
