JJ is so smooth and easy going. Great announcer. If you run into a Yank or Brit embassy guys, they should be able to hook you up with some hooch. No shortage of booze in Saudi. Just gotta know the right people.
I love my brother, and he is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.. But he’ll bust you and make you love it.. A world class grifter (in the pool hall or golf course).. Don’t be fooled..
Kinda figured it would be the case, but good to see someone doing one of these that actually knows their equipment. So many people don't seem to really know their weights, sizes and diameters, tips, etc. Knew JJ would be on top of things.
JJ is a great player and commentator. Pro tip: keep some surgical alcohol wipes in your bag. Not just good for cleaning a carbon shaft; alcohol also has the effect of an anti-perspirant to keep the palms dry. Wipe the palm before playing and it keeps things from getting clammy.
I still use a old Lucasi Jeremy Jones signature cue, it's a jump/ break cue but I normally shoot with it with a jacoby carbon fiber or a newer zero flexpoint wood shaft. It's balanced perfectly for me
Super awesome video Karl glad to see double J with his stuff out can’t believe he goes through gloves to keep his hand dry I could only imagine back in the day using the powder lol
Karl, there’s something I’ve been dying to have a pro show us how to do and that’s using a shaper. I know a lot of players are sponsored by Cuetec, maybe you can have someone show us how they shape with the bow tie? ❤ please
i also do this naturally , i wouldnt call it a shortcut ? its just a result of not squeezing the cue with your back hand through your stroke which is a good thing. And with that light pressure the cue will tend to release from your hand completely for a moment on certain shots.
@johnny5ramos i know i don't do it all the time, usually I will be so concentrated on the task at hand an for whatever reason my brain problem solves an will say the result is the slip stroke, I will end up with a 6 to 8in slip where I'm just catching the butt of the cue, usually a draw shot.
Karl and JJ, two excellent players and by far my favorite commentators too!
Thanks 🤩
Great video! Always love these "Whats in the Bag" series. Thank you, and congratulations on being nominated. Team Captain of Europe!!!
Thanks a lot appreciate it

"No shortage of booze in Saudi." It's even available in many government buildings there.
Love you both, KB and JJ
JJ is awesome. Thanks Karl for interviewing him. Looking forward to the Efren Reyes Cup.
The man, the legend! Also... The man, the legend!

True story

That was awesome.... Thanks Karl!😎🤘

Oh man, wow what’s in the bag with JJ. Thanks Karl for everything you all do for the sport

Love my Techo Duds. Been using them for years. OutsVille has great products. Love the hit and grip. Cheers, thank you Karl & JJ
Love your "What's in the bag" videos.
Yay! Thank you!
I agree that front and back balance on the cue is more important than overall weight.
I started using Triangle tips. They do hold that shape longer. Did take me about 10-15 hours of practice to start liking it.
That’s why i prefer wrapless cue doesn’t slip in my hand. And i want the balance in the front. I like the weight close to my bridge hand
Hello, I want to ask about the difference between gen 1 and 2. Is the performance of gen 2 better than gen 1 or is it just the design?
Jeremy Jones is a cool guy 👍
Karl Thanks for the Interview also Great Commentary Maybe
One day You Guys Will.Have
A Match Just ask Shane to
Put Up The Cash
That's right JJ
Karl, do one again with Carlo Biado he switched to carbon and started using gloves as well!
I'm with JJ with the gloves. I sweat so damn much in games that I look like I'm in a spa. I have to switch or keep trying to dry off.
Good video, JJ is awesome!
But “former” Mosconi cup captain!? Did I miss something
Thank you for bringing JJ :) what music are you using for the intro? Is it royalty free?
Yes, it is! I use epidemic
I hope cuetec finally just sells the x series shaft separately

Hey glad Jeremy finally made it on the list bout time Karl's commentary partner was on here 😅
Good ol double J!
Do Fedor again. I heard he use viking cues and triple 60 shafts
Can anyone explain to me why my NATURALLY HAVE A SLIP STROKE? I had no idea it had a name or was a specific stroke I just do it subconsciously..
It’s a natural shortcut!

It's okay to have a slip stroke. As long as you follow through on the stroke. Mosconi supposedly had a slip stroke as well.
