The Lexus SC400 was first released in 1993. I have it in gloss black. You probably mean that the SC400 was last released in 2003 (Dragon Wagons Mini Collection) and since then we've not seen a Lexus released. Great video!

Very much so agreed-like on the new Mitsubishi 2 pack, I’ve unfortunately missed out on that modern classics EVO, but luckily I’ve chased a 2 pack with the same paint, rims and casting

Collecting 2 packs is actually a really cool area to focus on as although it’s just two cars in a lot of packaging I can definitely respect keeping a set unopened as they look so awesome! Did you manage to get your hands on the skylines? Admittedly I had to pay £25 each and I did buy 2 but I think it’s well worth it. The skyline 2 pack in a few years time will be one of those products that only goes up in value for sure. Thanks for leaving a cool comment. Appreciate you fellow Diecast brother

I personally like the matt paint castings (and the zamac ones) but possibly because they are the exception and if they were used too often, they possibly wouldnt have the same effect. Cheers

You’re right in saying that matte paint is a lot less commonly used on castings and therefore it’s to be enjoyed… I just hope that we’ll see that epic Lexus again within a year or so and Hot Wheels will release it with some metallic goodness or maybe even with one of the racing liveries. Plus, it’s so easy to say that 2 packs are dumb and just reissues when there are so many collectors out there hunting for desirable castings that SHOULD be made available again in a 2 packs again as it’s impossible sometimes to get your hands on the castings you really want to add to your collection. I wish individually packaged premium cars were more like £6-7 in the UK for sure! 👍
