you can see how acceleracers is underrated on games that it skipped from highway 35 to battle force 5
It’s crazy how ultimate racing took some of the concepts from the realms in Acceleracers and used them in their tracks like the fish from the water realm and the monster from the swamp realm

I have just been hit by the single most massive blast of nostalgia I've ever experienced. I played so many of these games growing up and this video just brought back so many memories!

Turbo Racing was my favorite Hot Wheels game back in the day, loved the car explosions, the creative hazards in the tracks and the amazing OST that was ahead of its time. I remember Beat That as a really good game as well, however, World's Best Driver was a true deception.

Dude, literally. But I was barely alive when I was playing Turbo Racing, Beat and Worlds Best Driver. I remember thinking Beat That was hard asl, but super fun. Turbo Racing being god tier, and has always been my #1. And Worlds Best Driver was just ultra booty 😭
Now that’s more like it, and I think Hot Wheels Unleashed and Track Attack are my 2 favorite Hot Wheels Games.

_Were my favs of all time_
Velocity X was the only game I ever played on PC for the longest time and remains one of my favourite games of all time. I still (now) fondly remember unlocking Surfin’ Schoolbus by using Prototype with the Booster power-up and using the small incline in the sidewalk as a ramp to get up to the skyscraper, only to realize afterwards that I could’ve just gone around to jump onto the buildings. Good times.
You’re not the only one I played it on my pc as well, played it since 2007.
Felt old when stunt track driver was 2nd on the list. Adored it growing up.
I got it when my dad bought me a patriot 2000 computer with the HotWheels paint job. Gutted the internals and replaced it with better parts. Installed alot of racing games on it and it lasted me till 2007. I still have the games and the case somewhere.
Velocity X was my favorite, I really hope they make that type of game again

I like how Burnin Rubber uses the old Mario Kart font.
One that you skipped was Hot Wheels Turbo Driver, a toys-to-life racing game with a special controller that you would snap certain cars onto, (named car-triges) and be able to race as that car. It was really cool and I wish more ppl would talk about it.

Hot wheels unleashed definitely "unleashed" the potential of a hotwheels game, but not quite enough..... I would love to see a game like that but its open world! Would definitely be interesting, especially if it was done like burnout paradise!

World Race holds a special place in my heart. It was the first video game I ever played. Stunt Track Challenge was sick too. I really hope when the Deora II comes out in unleashed it has Vert's World Race livery, and not his Acceleracer's livery...

Stunt Track Challenge was my first PS2 game :)
I played Beat That once when I was a kid. It was just once, but it stuck with me. So much so that when I saw people playing Unleashed, it brought back memories to that one short time. Very weird how memories work.
I haven't played Unleashed yet, but looking at it made me want to try to figure out which Hotwheel games I've played in the past, so I decided to look at this video. I found out that the only two games I remember playing were Stunt Track Challenge, and Beat That. I tjought they were nice from what I remember. I hope Unleashed has some customization to it though, like picking colors or maybe decals.
hot wheels unleashed has some of the best car customization I've ever seen if you're wondering, although you cant physically change the car (different rims, different spoiler, mirrors, wide body kits, etc) the design changes on cars are absolutely beautiful. Also since you can create and share community livery's (livery being the change that you made to the car), there are some absolutely astonishing designs for practically every single car out there.
The first hot wheels game I played was, hot wheels burnin rubber on GBA, the second game was hot wheels velocity X on the PC, the third game was hot wheels beat that on the DS, and the fourth game was hot wheels track attack on the wii. Crazy times as a kid.
There were really interesting hot wheels browser/flash games. I believe they deserved to be mentioned.

Fun fact: the fall of HotWheels: Race Off happened on May 31st, 2021, what they did was shut down the game forever. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO PLAYED THE ONLINE HOT WHEELS DRAG RACING GAME. The whole video I waited for it and once it got to mid 2000’s I was like nah ain’t included, the online hot wheels game was a bangerrr. The Enzo Ferrari was unbeatable

Hotwheels Race Off was actually made in 2016 and got deleted in 2021, about a year ago.

What if Hotwheels unleashed had a track that looks like actual Hotwheels sets, where the tracks are skinny and not wide? Perhaps that would’ve made the races claustrophobic?

Hot wheels stunt driver was the only game I had that could run on the family computer and I played it while in my Spider-Man consume that never fit with sunny D and a warm feeling in my heart, I didn’t know you could do tricks and I never unlocked the other cars.
