  • The latest vid from theloftybiker, a review of the 2022 BMW S1000r Sport.
An 164bhp naked flying machine. Althought this bike has been around a while it's still cutting edge. For those of you who want a little more BMW have introduced this year the M1000r with a 200+ bhp monster.
The bike is currently available at Ocean BMW Motorrad Penryn, Falmouth.

Really hate the iPad speedo. They’ve lost the plot in good looks. Lovely bike and handles beautifully. Just traded down from fast big bikes to vstrom650 and I am in love. It is quick enough and the most planted bike I have owned, no stiffness, no pogoing. Rough welsh rides supple as baby’s bottom. I was doubtful on going down but I am really in love

Thanks. Too much power for me. The NT1100 is plenty quick enough for me plus has the DSCT gearbox.

Like I always say you could deliver pizzas 🍕 on the S1000R or you could also take it on track or a long day out on the twistys it’s a fantastic bike alround but it doesn’t raise my heart like my Triumph Speed Triple RS but it’s a fantastic bike mate, I just find it a bit soulless! But I think that’s because it’s engineered so well that it’s not eventful . saying that as a commuter it’s fantastic because it doesn’t have any nasty surprises, you can give it full beans and it doesn’t mind !
