Your son is a natural. I see a bright future for him. I love that you support his interests and gave him the opportunity. That’s a great parent. Thanks for all your tips too. Sometimes I like organizing as much as actual crafting! 😂😂❤️❤️
Thank you for the ideas - enjoyed seeing what you do for the larger die/stamp sets. Yes, would love to see Jameson and momma do a snow globe card. How cute!
I can't tell you enough how much I love those 12x12 paper keepers from Amazon. They are the best and I appreciate you telling us about them in a previous video.
Your son is a natural! Bring on the snow globes! Great ideas for storage and saving space. Hopefully in the future SU will provide the magnetic sheet and get rid of the plastic container….less plastic=more environmentally friendly.
Your son stole the show! He looks about the age of my grandson who LOVES helping me in the craftroom when he's visiting! Yes, please, on a video of you two! Great content! Love the organization walk and talk throughs! It helps to see and also to hear your thinking! Glad you are moving well into Stamping Up! So sorry about Close to My Heart!
Thank you! He is so cute. He made a card video a few days ago but he did it mostly on his own…he didn’t want help! 😍 How great that you have a little helper too!
Boiler Up! Hooray for Purdue, our son graduated from there and loved every minute of his college career. Thanks for shring all these tips, I struggle with organizing everything and it's really challenging when you have 25 + years of paper crafts. Hugs, Gale The Happy Stamper :)
Jayma your son was so cute and a very good helper. I would love to see a video of both of you making a snow globe card. I have been following each of your videos in this group and your ideas have been helpful in helping me in the organizing of my craft room.
Oh my goodness. Your son is so adorable. He’s a natural at this and clearly has been watching and listening to you! I’d love to see you and him working in a snow globe card and bet it would translate into a scrapbook layout someday too! Love all the organization tips; thank you so very much.
My second time watching to help me organize more lol. I keep learning something each time. Plus what you have suggested came in and had to review what I needed them for lol
Your son is a natural! If we lived closer I’d higher him to put all my dies on the magnet sheets. I have noticed a few others storing their sets that way and it did look like a great solution. Definitely a space saver so I think I will give it a try.
So cute, I loved how your son joined this video! Also loved the great tips and I think I’m going to follow your approach for the stamp and die sets. The DVDs are cute but very chunky so it takes up so much room.
I am literally just reorganising the exact same way you are. I have purchased the envelopes and magnets from Amazon and removed all from the dvd cases. So far I love it. I also love the 12x12 paper sleeves. I am finding this is working well for all my papers.
I’m so glad!! OMG I am cracking up because his name is actually tyler but he kept introducing himself as “Jayma’s son” but while editing I also totally heard Jamison. 😂😂😂 I told him to use his name next time. 😂
Thank you for showing the plastic sleeves you use to store your 12x12 paper and cardstock in. I bought some “envelope style ones from an online scrapbook store that I absolutely love. But they are pricey. I then found some on Amazon that were similar but super flimsy and they don’t always stay closed. I like to make page kits so using the cheaper ones for that. My cardstock is stored in cropper hopper magazine style cases. I have used them for close to 20 years. They did a good job but are bulky and often hard for me to pull off the shelf as they are heavy. Anyway, I decided to order the ones you use and I love them for sorting cardstock and patterned paper as well as scraps. They are working so well that I just pelleted a second set. Thanks again
These have been very motivating!! I loved ur son’s video!! Yes! Enjoy ur weekend! Hugs! I just may have to clear out some older SU stamps and make more room on my shelves!! You’re amazing!! 🤩 ❤
I am a retired nurse- after retiring from the hospital I started teaching nursing for the University of Michigan- Flint. After teaching from home for a year during the pandemic, I decided it was time to retire for good. I enjoy your videos!
@@JaymaMalmealso love the new way of storing stamps and dies. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way, because I’m very limited on space. You do an awesome job.
I have watched all your challenge videos from the beginning and you have inspired me very much. Thank you for all the information and tips you have given me. Your son is so awesome. I would like to see you and your son craft together.
Your son did great and is so cute! Of course I would like to see you and him make a snow globe 😁😁 I also have those envelopes and magnets… I’ve been kind of switching over from the vent cover magnets I used to use… I am going to use your suggestion and remove my Stampin up stamps / dies from their case and use the envelopes.
Thank you! I am really liking it! I switched the rest of my SU sets over the weekend and it’s incredible how much space it saves now!!! I think you’ll really like it.
Just hilarious to listen/watch your son explain how to put the dies on the magnets! So adorable and so fun! What a little buddy you have there….a nice mom/son moment. Yes, PLEASE do a video together. Would love to see it. I don’t have any luck using my Recollections file drawers. I have 12x12 files in it, but is so hard to open and close. Not a very good design. Love your hair either way. I’m sure it felt good to get it cut. It always does for me. TFS for sharing your son! 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
I took all my stampinup stamps out and used the envelopes. I love it organized like that. Then I have a binder that I photo copied the front so I can flip through the binder to find the stamp I need easier. Your son is fabulous! Cherish these moments!! I would love to see you do a tutorial together! My son is 24 and it goes so fast. I love your hair too!! So glad I found your channel!
I have convered all my SU stamps and stamp and die sets into 6x6 stamp envelopes so they store exactly like my CTMH sets. Works the best for me as it takes up less room than the DVD style cases and all my storage was geared to the 6x6 envelopes fromCTMH.

Okay, I'm a slouch, you have a PT job, TH-cam channel, demonstrator and kids, I'm tired just having 2 kids. LOL! Loving all your videos, your hair is perfect and your son is absolutely adorable! He did such a great job, I'm ready for your snow globe crafting together. :-) (Sheila G)
Oh my gosh your son is adorable!! Great tips thank you! I do like having the SU cases stored like books, so I can see the images on the side. I find that helpful. But...yeah...they do take up a lot of room! Those envelopes are a great idea. I will have to think on that. I have enjoyed your videos, but yes....please spend time with your family this weekend and take a break!!!
Thank you! He’s such a good kid. ❤️ I really do like the dvd cases which is why I was so torn on whether or not I want to do the envelopes. But I think I’d rather fit more stamps than have the dvd cases 😂 And I don’t want some stored like books and my ctmh ones in the bin…I just know that will bug me. Unless I plan for that, which may happen when my hubby helps me redo my closet into built-ins…eventually. That is probably a year or two down the road. Hopefully I’ll know what I want to do by than 😂
Your son nailed it Yes I do want to watch you do card. I really like your idea for storing the stampin up steps I have four shelves that double and I'm getting rid of a whole bunch of stamps thanks for the idea
I recently purchased some of those paper storage sleeves from Amazon Australia after recommended you them in a recent video. I’m impressed by the quality. I also bought some in the 6x6 size for that size paper and my ephemera packs.
My BFF & I bought the Target wood crates (that you suggested last year) to store our cardstock in, but for all my current papers/kits, I use a basket from Dollar Tree. It fits paper perfectly & has a nice firm base. Sits at my feet as well & I don't have to worry about it falling over.
* running to dollar tree * 🤣🤣🤣 I am definitely going to go check this out! Glad you liked the crates! I still love them but soon I’m going to need to move specialty paper elsewhere and use both crates for CS!
Also, those narrow copper hopper sleeves are where I store my completed layouts, prior to them going in an album. I love how sturdy they are & how well they protect my pages
@JaymaMalme target no longer carries them in store, but we did find them online there. They're fantastic! The DT basket looks like a 13x13x8 hamper with white handles.
@MotherTrece genius!!!! Except my stack is too big. I think I need to do a video on journaling and putting layouts i to albums soon. I keep putting it off 😂 keeping them in these will keep me on top of that better!
Hello, I was also a Stampin Up demonstrator and redid my organization several times, because what I found was there often more dies than stamps. You can use the dies to cut out many different things and I found I needed to see the dies, and what was in that set of dies to figure out what I wanted to use. I ended up putting my dies on magnetic cards, in sleeves that look very similar to what you’re using for your embellishments. I labeled them the same name as the stamps so I knew which dies went with which stamps - but I often use the dies separately. Just a little FYI.
Quick tip to save time and energy. Staple the embellishment plastic part in an area that does not interfere with the embellishment to the cardboard then slip into pockets. Saves paper as well. Hope that makes sense and that you would consider this tip as well. Cheers ~ Michelle 🇨🇦
I definitely like the idea of the stamp & die being put in an envelope & stored away like my ctmh stamps & dies. I don't have many SU sets as yet but they are sitting beside me waiting to find a permanent home & this idea is brilliant as the cases just take up so much more room that I DO NOT HAVE as I live in a small one roomed converted garage which is more a craft room than flat. What to do with the empty cases? Probably store my ephemera pieces in them, I suppose which would be handy actually as at the present time they are all about the place in whatever container I had empty at the time, this way I would have them sorted & sitting in a stack on the back of my craft table when I finally clear it off & so better protected with easier access.
Your hair looks great! I would love to watch you and your son make a card together. Love your organization. I bought Stampin up products years ago and I have on a A frame type shelf and I kinda like how they stand up and can read the side of the container to see what’s in there, but I love your idea with them too, we’ll see if I change it😂
Thank you! I would like seeing the spine too, but I just don’t want 2 different ways of storing. 🤪 So many decisions with reorganizing 😂 In a year or two my hubby is going yo redo my closet into built-ins so I will probably redo stuff again at that time!
Would love to see you and your son make a snow globe. I love to scrapbook with my granddaughter, only problem she lives in the UK and I live in South Africa. When we do visit I'm sure to take products with me. Wish we could get stampin up products in South Africa.
Would you be able to show your rolling cart and the storage there. I was intrigued and like the idea of putting embossing folders there. PS your son is adorable
I love the way you are organising your stamps now. What are you doing with the red rubber stamps though? Can you show me how they look in the envelopes.
Hi I loved all the tips for organisation but I was wondering how you store the hybrid embossing folders? Do you keep them with the dies and stamps or just in with the other folders?
If they fit with the stamps then I’ve been keeping them with them. The seaside wishes for example. But the newer changing leaves folder is bigger, so I have that with my embossing folders. Actuallly come to think of it, since I’ve been using it lately, I have it just next to the stamp/die set but not in the case. Once the season is over though, I will store just the folder with my other folders. It’s hard to make these decisions! 😂
Okay, so now you know you have to add a cameo of your son to every new video!!! I do have a question, will the red rubber cling stamps also work in those envelope/magnet sets or will you have to keep those in the dvd cases???
Seriously…he did such a good job! I think they would work in the envelopes, it just won’t be as flat. I’ll try it out and do a post on here showing it!
Yes, they do fit. I decided not to for now since they are still kinda bulky and I’m not sure yet what I’d use as the backer for the stamps since they stick right on the dvd case. It would still save almost half the thickness to also put them in the envelopes. Once I run out of space again I will probably figure out how I want to add them to envelopes too. 😂 Maybe stick them to the back of the magnet sheets.

@@JaymaMalme Maybe i'll wait until he re does your closet 😂😜. I might have to do something before then if I keep buying. Haha
Oh my heart, he is adorable!!!
😍😍😍
Would love to see you and your son make a snow globe. I love to scrapbook with my granddaughter, only problem she lives in the UK and I live in South Africa. When we do visit I'm sure to take products with me. Wish we could get stampin up products in South Africa.
Aw that is so far! How lovely that you get to craft together, though. 💗💗💗
Would you be able to show your rolling cart and the storage there.
I was intrigued and like the idea of putting embossing folders there.
PS your son is adorable
Yes I can do that! Thanks, he’s a hoot 😊
I love the way you are organising your stamps now. What are you doing with the red rubber stamps though? Can you show me how they look in the envelopes.
I’m keeping them in the original cases for now. I didn’t like how bulky they made the envelope. I am really loving the envelopes!
I also store my dies inside the stamp case
You son is a future TH-camr! So charming!
Aw thanks! He is definitely charming ❤️
Where did you get the bin for the embellishments. I love the dividers in it
The dividers are so helpful! I got them on Amazon, here is the link: amzn.to/3XPJfKX
What do you do with the cling stamps? Do you leave them in the DVD cases?
That’s what I’m doing for now, but TBD 😃
Okay, so now you know you have to add a cameo of your son to every new video!!! I do have a question, will the red rubber cling stamps also work in those envelope/magnet sets or will you have to keep those in the dvd cases???
Seriously…he did such a good job! I think they would work in the envelopes, it just won’t be as flat. I’ll try it out and do a post on here showing it!
Jayma, are you able to put the red rubber stamp sets with the dies in those new envelopes?
Yes, they do fit. I decided not to for now since they are still kinda bulky and I’m not sure yet what I’d use as the backer for the stamps since they stick right on the dvd case. It would still save almost half the thickness to also put them in the envelopes. Once I run out of space again I will probably figure out how I want to add them to envelopes too. 😂 Maybe stick them to the back of the magnet sheets.
Do the stack storage have lids for all of them?
Are you referring to the stack and sort trays? No lids. They stack onto each other so then the one on too kinda forms a lid but they don’t snap on.
