Round two! Yes, second time watching because I had just too many distractions the first go around to fully enjoy my screen time with you 😂 I absolutely LOVE your new room! So light and airy ….and your hubby is amazing! I love his “looks can be deceiving” comment😂fantastic interaction! What an amazing man to dedicate so much time, hard work and efforts for you, your love and passion ❣️ way to go to your hubby 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 thank you for inviting us into your beautiful space and sharing with us your slice of heaven! I absolutely love your sign! How perfect 😍 but I have to say your coworkers, Moss and Dave are by far the best…well, I’m sure Dave is more like the boss 😂 or at least he likes to think so 🤣
I almost thought you moved when I saw this video. I can't believe you all shared that room, such amazing memories I'm sure! Your husband is so handy and did a FABULOUS job on this room! I had to laugh our loud about the different colors of 12x12 albums, I just had that happen to me, they made the same album for 4 years and now nope, I have a very eclectic ray of album colors. I saw how you did your brushes from your other video and I did it and I have about 30 brushes, thanks for that idea, I love it! I def need to find a garage sale that has some book shelves. My bookshelves don't fit my 12x12 albums. Love the acrylic containers for the bling! I ordered those Allen and Roth storage bins when I saw your last video and they fit my shelves beautifully! Thanks for that tis bit! LOL, I scrap standing up too and I'm almost 6 foot so that part of your room would not work for me. Thanks for sharing your amazing scrap room, you are so organized!
This was very inspiring. Thank you xx my hubby has no idea how to build, but he’s a champion with anything internet, computer, games he sets up everything including making from scratch, the grandchildren love it, he has made game stations for them too. Very clever man but no idea how to put a wall up lol! Love your room . ❤❤
That is a very nice tool belt setup ! My late husband always had to have the best in tools and such…so i instantly recognized that his tool belt was from Occidental Leather! That will last him a good long time, and probably be able to pass it onto someone else later in life! Love your room! great job !
I love that you recognized the quality tool belt, it is high quality and will definitely last a lifetime. 😊 I say my hubby definitely deserved it after all his hard work. I am glad you enjoyed seeing the room 😊
Love the new craft space! Thanks for taking us on a full tour. I am hoping to update my scrapbooking room that also serves as my home office and a guest bedreoom so the ideas for seeing how different organization pieces work and fit. As always Dave is a hit! And I love seeing that he made Empoloyee of the Month! The collar and tie definitely formalized that great honor ! 🙂 It was nice to know that Moss is there keeping you company as well. Our dog, Piper, always loves to be where her people are hanging out.
My husband has ALWAYS loved when I ask him to help me with projects!! It always meant he’d get some nifty item that made things easier! It is INDEED such a blessing to have a handy husband!! I homeschooled for 21 years and often while my ‘students’ worked this teacher, along with the principal, would have planning sessions for projects. Our home is older and as tired as we are and it needs HELP! I am sucking up inspiration like water on a dry sponge!! Your kitty’s name is Dave?! That is such a fun name for that handsome boy! I have 9 cats, 3 of which are indoor/outdoor. I have one that loves my craft room and enjoys keeping me company. The others are far too ‘curious’ about my goodies!
Having a handy husband is invaluable. We were a homeschool family too! That is too funny some cats are allowed in your craft space and others not so much, I totally understand. I have four dogs and one causes chaos everywhere he goes. He is like a bull in a china shop.
Thank you so much for this very thorough tour. I too struggle with space. my craft closet is 6x8 feet. I live in a very old building. not able to hang much on the plaster walls. I ordered the binders for my inspiration sheets. I don't scrapbook. I make lots of cards and treat stuff. I love stamping and paper crafting. thanks again. Cathy/California
Wow! How inspiring…I am in the process of continuing to organize my craft room to aid me in maximum access and productivity. Love getting ideas from others…thank you for sharing! ❤
such an inspiring spot. My craft room is my 8'x20" utility room. It is a work in progress with built ins. When we built our house I made cards but did not scrapbook yet so all shelves are 8 1/2x 11. But I have made it work. Many ideas here that I am excited to incorporate. Love the repetition of your storage solutions that help to make it look so calm. Love it! Thanks for sharing.
I love your new craft room! Thank you for taking the time to explain your organization in detail, gave me lots of inspiration. I love, love, love Dave’s Employee of the Month photo!!!!
This tour was amazing! My hubby helped me make some custom stuff for my room too. Your room is so efficient and aesthetically pleasing! My favorite part is when you found that tiny tag book you’d made! I got all the tingles for you because I know how special those things are! Thanks for sharing. I got the 12x12 Caydo pockets you suggested and I LOVE THEM.
Thank you for sharing you have an amazing craft room.I would love to see more from your fault journal /planner .The pages are simple and and very inspiring .Would love to hear what ink or pens you are using.I watched a lot of planner channels and it feels overwhelming .This was just the right spark!
Thank you so much! I am glad you found my planner pages simple and inspiring. I needed to keep them simple so I could keep up with the project yet interesting enough they are fun to go back and look at.
Love to see people using 3M products, command hooks. Both my husband and myself retired from 3M with 35, and 28 years of service. I too scrapbook, something I picked up after I retired 15.5 years ago. Love your new space.
Erin, thank you for taking time to go through your new craft room it's wonderful!! There's nothing better than a dedicated room for crafting and for your adorable kitty and doggie lol! Love the sign your mother-in-law gave you too, so clever! Thanks for all the inspiration! Enjoy!! Think I'll go make something! :)
Lol I love it. My husband be looking for a reason to buy another tool piece. He loves projects. So nice to have our own personal handyman, general contractor, lol
Your new craft room is amazing. I too have the lower ceiling in one place. It seems my room is always a work in progress…trying to find something that works, I almost have it though😂. I also love Dave, he’s so cute. Thanks for sharing and happy crafting to you!
Love the new craft space! I need more wall space - I like the way you hang the blending brushes and the giant wall magnet. So much inspiration - I have a list of things that I want to do. Time to start the honey-do-list.
Congratulations on your lovely new craft room! I love how you keep it real with all the things we have to store and all those "crafty items" we love to keep even if we aren't using them. Thanks for all your suggestions, it truly helps to see a visual. You've inspired me to get my room in order and "stamp out" (pun intended) my current chaos! Good to see that Dave has his dedicated spot too! Here's to a year of happy papercarfting! Cheers!
Loved the video! I have to tell you that I was waiting for Mike to say he picked out that outfit because you already knew what scrapbook paper you were gonna use to document this, and his shirt needed to match your paper! 😂 ...because we do that right?!!
Dave. Employee of the month!😂😂😂 Great tour with so many awesome ideas. Thank you for taking the time to do this. Also--I am a planner girl too, and I am obsessed with The Simplified Planner by Emily Ley.
Your new space is soooo good and pretty too! Loved watching your tour and all the little tips along the way on how to store supplies. Now I just need you and Mike to come over and sort my mess out! 😘🤣
I'm so happy I went with black albums from the very beginning because I've also come across the problem where they get discontinued and it's so frustrating.
Absolutely love your space! It’s not cluttered and just so peaceful. Love your crafting buddies too. Would you be able to share the magnet sheets to hold dies on one side and stamps on the other side? I bought some of CTMH idea cards but they were out of the binders… time to look for binders to get those ideas put to use!! Thanks for sharing your lovely room.
Thank you so much, I am very grateful for my craft room. The magnetic sheets I showed come with a plastic storage envelope and you can find them here on Amazon: Stamp and Die Storage envelopes with magnetic sheets (alternative to the SU DVD cases) amzn.to/3VDtJ4l
Hello Rachel, thank you so much! It makes me happy to have the critters in there keeping me company all day. Here are the magnetic sheets I showed - Stamp and Die Storage envelopes with magnetic sheets (alternative to the SU DVD cases) amzn.to/3VDtJ4l
What a great room! It looks so organized and a nice place to create. I love Dave’s ties! Could you share a photo of your phone filming area? I am having a hard time visualizing how you attach your phone.
I am a visual person too. I can't post photos here, do you want to shoot me an email and I can share a photo? You can contact me through my website erinjacobson.stampinup.net
Great room and storage ideas! Suggestion for a series with the CDT - using a circuit. I still have one of the original "dumb" machines and want a new one but don't want to invest in one without having some insight into how to use it and which machine is right. I've tried to watch other videos, but love the way you and the rest of the CDT explain things in your videos.
I bought into your black photo albums when I watched your first craft room video. I do have all my albums in different colors because I first thought I would make my daughter's albums in pink, my son's in blue, family layouts in purple and my stuff in red and, of course, they all are different types of albums in different shades of each color! Although I thought I would like the color variation, it does not look like it did in my Ema-gination because of the different styles of albums! I so liked your black album hack that I went out and bought all black albums because I have now started on my grandson's albums and I want all of these to look pretty on the bookcase I have dedicated the albums to! LoL I doubt my kids care what are the colors of the albums. I suspect that once I am gone, my daughter will probably store her albums in a closet and my son would be OK with the different colors. So this is all for me while I am still here. :)
Thank you, I am so glad you enjoy the videos. She ordered the sign from Amazon but it’s unavailable so I did a little digging and found it online from Walmart. www.walmart.com/ip/Retro-Metal-Tin-Sign-Black-Cat-Scrapbooking-Room-Welcome-My-Woman-Cave-Also-Know-As-The-Style-Miller-Beer-Bar-Den-Halloween-Painting-8x12-inch/5822230443
Thank you for supporting my IKEA family!😂 I have pushed ideas to them for having a designated Room for crafters for years! while I have many of the same pieces, they are still full of random things I need to toss😱 sell or gift. Thanks for sharing the method to your madness ideas...love your new space. Great job Mike (and Dave)💙
Erin Trying to decide if i want to move to the 3-ring binder for my stickers like yours. My stickers are already in a 3-ring binder but in their original packaging, sorted by theme inserted into 8.5x11 page protectors. I would like to know whether you remove the "stickiness" off the sticker before you put it on your pages in your binder? Love your new space - lots of tips i want to implement for my organization, which seems to be a never ending effort haha!😊
I love to see how you organize. Seems I am always trying to figure out different options that will work better to organize my craft room! Can you tell me what dividers you are using for your cardstock? Looks like your close to my heart envelopes are separated. I have been looking for something to do that!
Organizing seems to be an ongoing activity as our collection changes doesn't it? Good eye, the CTMH cardstock did have dividers, I use the same paper holders I showed for the pattered paper they are just turned on their side. Advantus Vertical Scrapbook Paper Holder, Frosted amzn.to/44M66Ki
I love your scrapbook room and how it’s organized!!! I too like organization but I’m slowly running out of space. I have some old cardstock that I really don’t want anymore. I guess my taste in paper has changed over the years. I really would like to get rid of it to make room for other stuff. My dilemma though is what to do with it. I hate throwing it away, if I knew of someone who would like it, I would just give it to them. Have you ever had this issue? I basically just do scrapbooking, haven’t really gotten into making cards. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Cathy
Hey, if a snazzy new tool belt was what it took, you got a deal! Buy him two of them, lol! Love your new room, and I know you are so excited to put it to good use!
Hi Erin. I have been watching you for a while and love your room update. Can you please let me know where you purchased the magnet with envelopes? I didn’t see it on the list? Or was it mentioned in another video? Thank you.
Hi Patti, I am so glad you have been enjoying my channel! I apologize I did not list the envelopes, this is what I shared in the video - Stamp and Die Storage envelopes with magnetic sheets (alternative to the SU DVD cases) amzn.to/3VDtJ4l
TFS. I got some great ideas from you to better organize my craft loft. Is there a link for the portfolio folders? I've got one of your design team sketch books in a binder but I like the idea of having them all in the same portfolio folder.
You are very welcome, I am glad you found some ideas! The portfolio I showed in the video is currently out of stock in the 30 page option but I have two different options and they are very similar. Sooez 30-Pocket Binder with Plastic Sleeves 8.5x11", Heavy Duty Art Portfolio Folder with Clear Sheet Protectors, 60 Pages amzn.to/3ZK5gxl Sooez 30-Pocket Binder with Plastic Sleeves 8.5x11 (Black), Heavy Duty Art Portfolio Folder with Clear Sheet Protectors, 60 Pages amzn.to/4hd12DR
Your room is so awesome! Two questions, first where did you get the portfolio books for your sketch books? Second, where did you get the acrylic holders for your cards you showed in your Kallax unit? BTW Love your employee of the month pic!
Hi Sarah, I am glad you caught Dave's employee of the month photo 😂 The acrylic holders used for the cards were a Home Goods find, I have searched amazon for something similar with zero luck, sorry about that. The portfolio book I showed is currently only available in the 18 pocket (I have the 30 pocket) but I just ordered these and they are very similar. amzn.to/4hd12DR
I appreciated your tour!! You have a great space. I am notorious for buying a container to use and then deciding that I don’t care for it… so I have so much stuff. I plan to purge when we return home from Florida. I’m curious what the name of the (center) ikea bookshelf is.. you probably said and I missed it.
Loved your tour, and got some awesome organizing ideas! Thanks for sharing! Note: the first link in the Description section appears to be an old CTMH link? 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you! The table / desk surfaces are like a formica type material but not as sturdy as formica countertops you would get for a kitchen for example. I do find that these Ikea desks stain easily and chip even though I feel I am pretty carful with them.
Thank you for sharing your craft. I am working on changing and moving mine. How do you find complimentary DSP for your pages? It takes me forever to do that. And what type of flooring did you put down? It is beautiful.
You are very welcome and I am glad you like the floors. It is actually a laminate from Lowes and I wish I could find the name but I seem to have misplaced that information. I mainly use paper collections that already pair the papers together beautifully but I do find it helpful to organize my papers by theme. That way if I am working on an outdoor hiking layout and want to explore other papers to mix in, I can head straight to my outdoor adventure section and chances are I will find what I am looking for there. It is not a perfect system but it does help narrow down the paper search. You can also organize your papers digitally in an app like Evernote or notebook. You can upload a photo of the paper collection then add key descriptive words like the paper colors and theme. If you want a red paper and search under red, all of the red patterned papers you have tagged with the word red will pop up and you can easily scroll through and find one to suit your project.
@ Thank you so much. Sounds like a lot of work to get everything. I have looked at the Evernote but don’t want an ongoing charge. What is the notebook app? I have heard you mention it but not sure what to look for.
@ it is a lot of work to go back and log all of your existing stamps and paper collections but if you get in the habit of documenting anything new, it’s easy to keep up on. The Notebook app works somewhat similarly, my friend Chelsey has a video showing how she organizes her supplies using notebook as an option th-cam.com/video/TuKW8ACJ9CQ/w-d-xo.html
Hi Erin. Can you please give me information on the Epson printer you use at your Cricut station. Model/part number. Where you purchased. Love your craft room and video. Thanks Cheryl
Hello Cheryl, I print my photos at home using the Epson Picture Mate 400 printer and I love it. It is this one here on Amazon amzn.to/4by5hYk. I do see the price is currently up, if you keep an eye on it it will drop anywhere from $249 down to $199. Its a great little printer and I love how easy it is to take to scrapbooking retreats.
Loved the tour of your craft room. I've been using a room that was once my son's room, then became a room for grand babies, now it's back to me for crafting. I've got a closet that I'm trying to make more efficient, so right now everything is a mess while I rearrange. I purchased the envelopes for 12x12 paper that you showed us a while back and really enjoy those for keeping collections together. Im curious, what do you do when you're basically finished with a collection but there are still a couple of nice size scraps or a page or two. Do you eliminate those or keep them handy in case you might find a way to use them?
Hahaa!! I loved seeing Mike's cameo! My hubby is a handy construction guy too - definitely comes in handy around the house. How much time would you say you spend on organization compared to your actual scrapbooking time? I definitely think being organized makes your scrapbooking time more efficient.... I just have to get to the organization time!
Having a handyman is the best! Organizing time varies, once I have the system set it doesn't take much time or effort to maintain things. I recently spent several days sorting through my patterned paper 😱 Cataloging new stamps when they arrive doesn't take but 10 to 15 minutes but starting out it took weeks to back catalog my older supplies. It is all worth it though, in the long run I better utilize my stash.
Hiii. 😊New here to your channel. I am curious to know how you painted your shelf? Did you use a spray machine or brush? I want to paint a wall unit I have in white. What kind of paint did you use? Thanks I,want to avoid sanding it down, lol.
Hello, welcome to my channel. I hope you find lots of inspiring ideas in my videos. I used a brush to paint the shelves and it is a chalk paint. I don’t remember the specific brand but honestly, I’m not impressed with it, it scratches very easily and several coats didn’t completely cover the yellow pine color underneath. I did not sand mine down because I’m with you on that and would really rather not spend the time to do so. 😂

I am so glad you found it inspiring. We each have our strengths, I bet your grandkids have such a good time playing the games he sets up.
Love your space and way you have organized it. Thanks for sharing❤

Stampin’Up has really embraced Scrapbookers from CTMH!!
I love that you stamp in your scrapbooks!!
Beautiful room! I love your videos. Thank you for all of the wonderful ideas and techniques you give us in your videos.
Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate your support! 😊
Loved your new tour of your craft room. Like you, I store most of my products by theme which has worked great for me.

Looks great!
Thank you so much, I hope you found some ideas you could implement in your crafty space.
Ryan would have 💯 used that as an excuse to buy a tool belt or some tool. 😆
Great space!
Wow, you’re are so blessed to have a hubby that knows what he’s doing and that wants to do this for you! But not everyone can afford to do this.
Your new craft room is amazing. I too have the lower ceiling in one place. It seems my room is always a work in progress…trying to find something that works, I almost have it though😂. I also love Dave, he’s so cute. Thanks for sharing and happy crafting to you!
I love this! Thanks for sharing.
How wonderful your new space is, Erin! Thank you for sharing it.❤-CarlaM
A lot of storage ideas and you must be in heaven in this room. Dave is top cat of course, surveying every corner. Thanks for the tour.
The blending brush org is great😊
Beautiful
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
What an incredible space! I’m amazed at all the places you have to store supplies and you’ve given me some great organizational ideas. ❤️❤️❤️
And your craft space is amazing and functional and beautiful and well loved! Paint imperfections included! Lol
Erin consider putting felt protectors like used for chair legs on acrylic pullout.
Love the new craft space! I need more wall space - I like the way you hang the blending brushes and the giant wall magnet. So much inspiration - I have a list of things that I want to do. Time to start the honey-do-list.

Nice craft room! Your patterned paper is stored exactly like mine... In the 12x12 Amazon boxes and 12x12 storage envelopes.
Love your craft room! It’s really beautiful and I’m taking some inspiration for my own, which is currently in process.
Thank you, I hope you spotted some good ideas for setting up your crafty space!
I love your space and how your drawers are NOT overstuffed...I need to take notes 😂
Your new craft room is awesome Erin , enjoy scrapping in this new space
Dave. Employee of the month!😂😂😂 Great tour with so many awesome ideas. Thank you for taking the time to do this. Also--I am a planner girl too, and I am obsessed with The Simplified Planner by Emily Ley.
Haha, I’m glad you keyed in on the employee of the month! 😂 That was actually Chelsey’s Vorosmarty’s idea and I thought it was so funny.
Such a fabulous new space! It was fun to see some of the progress clips too. And of course Dave and Moss! 😂
Love your new space Erin. Great use of your space.
I use the same magnetic storage system. Never knew the orange side was for stamps. I love having my dies in this type of storage.
Would love to see process videos on you working in your hemlock daily journal.
Your new space is soooo good and pretty too! Loved watching your tour and all the little tips along the way on how to store supplies. Now I just need you and Mike to come over and sort my mess out! 😘🤣
Nice!
I need those scripture vellum quotes!❤️I’m starting a faith planner and have been looking for beautiful scripture quotes to embellish my journalling 🥰
The magnetic sheets I showed come with a plastic storage envelope and you can find them here on Amazon: Stamp and Die Storage envelopes with magnetic sheets (alternative to the SU DVD cases)

Hello Rachel, thank you so much! It makes me happy to have the critters in there keeping me company all day. Here are the magnetic sheets I showed - Stamp and Die Storage envelopes with magnetic sheets (alternative to the SU DVD cases)

Thank you so much! I wish they were available in Canada at a reasonable price.
I was a demonstrator for Close To My Heart when it first started and was called D.O.T.S. I still have some of those stamps.
@ thanks!
I love your pets and when you talk about them. Go Dave go.
I will soon be moving and after 30 years of paper crafting, I have ideas to redo my new space. Thanks for sharing this Erin!
Thanks
Love it all!!! And love following you and your process videos!! Can you say where your MIL got the scrapbooking sign??? I would love that!!
I loves Dave!
Advantus Vertical Scrapbook Paper Holder, Frosted

@ thank you!
I apologize I did not list the envelopes, this is what I shared in the video - Stamp and Die Storage envelopes with magnetic sheets (alternative to the SU DVD cases)

That’s LOVE 💕. My husband is a nurse. He can but doesn’t handyman.
Your room is so awesome! Two questions, first where did you get the portfolio books for your sketch books? Second, where did you get the acrylic holders for your cards you showed in your Kallax unit? BTW Love your employee of the month pic!
Hi Sarah, I am glad you caught Dave's employee of the month photo 😂
The acrylic holders used for the cards were a Home Goods find, I have searched amazon for something similar with zero luck, sorry about that. The portfolio book I showed is currently only available in the 18 pocket (I have the 30 pocket) but I just ordered these and they are very similar. amzn.to/4hd12DR
This is the one I showed but again, the 30 pocket is out of stock amzn.to/3ZK5gxl
@@CraftyConceptswithErin Perfect replacement of the portfolio. Thank you ❤
I was thinking you could put some felt pads on your lucite bins to protect your shelves(?). Great craft room tour, thank you.
Great idea, I definitely need to do that 😊
I appreciated your tour!!
Erin, what a great room! Can you tell me what your surface is for your desk? I am having a craft table built and I’m picking between stone or Formica.
“a brain is for coming up with ideas, not remembering them”. Haha that’s a classic Erin. 😂😂
Amazon has small appliance wheels that will work for you acrylic boxes
