You can buy a bamboo shelf that goes on the IKEA cart, just like the Michael's cart. They are sold separately so you can purchase one for each tray if you needed to. I have one on my IKEA cart.
Thanks so much! Someone else mentioned that too, definitely going to go get that and a new cart! I saw the board on their website but it was not clear that it fits on the cart…that’s great!
Like the idea of a Functional Die category. That’s a new way of thinking about those dies. I need to work on categorizing and storing my dies better so I use them all.
you can install the separate levels upside down and place machines on top. My friend’s husband made us covers for ours. Much prefer the IKEA one and I have three of them and two from Michael’s. The Michael’s are longer and fit my bigger machines.
That’s a great idea to turn them upside down. I bought another Ikea cart recently and gave the Michaels one to my daughter. She is thrilled and I’m much happier!
Thanks for sharing your stamping categories. I like the new to use bin idea. I have mine on my desk in a letter holder but they always overflow before I get to them.
I have a Big Shot Switch and LOVE it. I keep it on my desk next to me so it is readily available. I use it almost every day. My rolling carts house my dies, manual die cut machines, seasonal stamps, seasonal/themed embellishments that are not stickers, 6X6 paper, small punches and unfinished Paper Pumpkin boxes.
That sounds like a great setup! I would really like to use the big shot switch more…it won’t fit on my desk next to me but hopefully I can figure out a setup that works for me. I get lazy and keep reaching for the mini sidekick machine that I keep on my desk. 😅
The Lowe’s bins are the best. So sturdy! You are VERY organized. Thank you for sharing. I love organizing and I continually do it. 😂 Are you liking your new SU stamp/die slimmer packaging for filing? Nice job on the shelf hubby. It’s beautiful in your room. Thank you Jayma. ❤
Aw, I’m glad you think so. I try. It’s definitely an ever-evolving process 😅 Yes, those bins are the best! I ended up getting one of the bigger sizes to store other stuff in too.
Thank you for showing how you store your stuff! I am currently reorganizing my tiny craft room and have purchased some shelving and cube storage which I love! Just trying to figure out a few areas so your video came out at just the right time with some very helpful ideas. It's always fun to see how others store the same kind of products.
I have a lot of the same categories, so I guess our brains work the same way 😊 still have my SU stamp sets in their DVD cases they do take up so much space but I’m still don’t know if o want to switch they to the envelope system. I guess when I run out of space the decision will come naturally. TFS
Hi Jayma, were abouts did you get the sleeves that you keep your embellishments (bling) in please as I have been looking and cannot seem to find them. Thankyou
Question: regarding the Switch… do you think it works well? And is it very loud? Currently, I have (and use) the Vagabond 2, which is retired.. it still works ok - there are areas that don’t have as much pressure as it used to have. I’ve been considering buying the Switch. I love the Sizzix machines because I’m very familiar with their sandwich and I don’t really want to learn another brand.
My friend has said the same about her vagabond but it keeps chugging along! The switch does work well but honestly I prefer smaller plates. I like the size of the vagabond better (or for me, I have the Spellbinders platinum 6). You can use smaller sizzix plates in the switch too. I haven’t used it on so long, I don’t remember how loud it is. I don’t think it’s any louder than the Vagabond.
Thank you for your reply! I appreciate your perspective. I’ve also been thinking about getting the Sizzix fold away big shot… much easier to travel with- but I don’t travel to crops all that much. The vagabond does travel well- but I wouldn’t take the Switch anywhere.
TU for sharing. Have u tried WD40 on your cart wheels? (Of course be careful to wipe off excess to protect floors). I have a Michael's cart that rolls as well as my IKEA one, even on carpet. Your son is so adorable! ❤

The mailing station with envelopes and card bases at the ready is a great idea too.

Oh yay, that wasn’t clear on their website. I definitely need to make a trip down to Ikea!
thanks for sharing!
There is actually a cutting board in bamboo, called HÖGSMA, that fits the Råskog ;)

It really helped me to lay them all out so I could see what I had and then group like items together in a way that works for how you think 😊

It works out nicely!
I have almost the exact same storage for my stamps and dies. I use my carts the same way also. Thanks for sharing.
I installed my top basket upside down to make a shelf :)
Smart! I’ll have to do that next time.

Thank you for sharing. Trying to reorganize my rolling cart. Great ideas!
Thank you for making this video!!
I agree about the zip ties on your rolling carts. Use stronger ones and it’s like new at least on mine!!
I am so excited to try that!
I came here to say the same thing. Got a bag of them from Lowe's or Home Depot.

Great minds think alike! That’s how I decided…I ran out of bins! I do like the dvd cases, they’re just so bulky 😕
Ikea has a board now it fits well. I'm going to redo my cart now based on what you've done with your die cut machine on the second shelf
Thank you! Someone else said that too…I’m so excited! I think I’m going to give my michaels cart to my daughter and get another Ikea one!
@@JaymaMalme I just ordered a second one, it shipped for $5 with my membership. Can't wait until it comes.
ZIP TIES should help that cart
Genius!!!
Will you be mixing your CTMH stamps with SU stamps?
Yes, I am planning to!

The trays on the carts can also be installed upside down for a flat surface.
Brilliant idea!!
Brilliant idea!!
