    The only Chef to say '25g tamarind' instead of 'lemon sized tamarind'. Small details like these are very helpful for beginners! Thank you for your lovely and detailed recipes sir. Huge fan!

      Disagree. Lemon sized tamarind is more useful than 25g for someone cooking at home with no weighing scale

      😅I should have said it differently. He always says it like ' 25g tamarind in 100ml water'. Most people don't tell tamarind:water ratio which spoils the dish (at least for me) :)

      I agree. I know a weighing scale is not usually used but it is very helpful in getting the quantity right especially if you new to cooking or trying to cook a new dish. A ‘lemon sized’ tamarind can mean different things to different people and that’s why the dish ends up tasting different from what we expect. The chef knows what he is talking about!

      People who get cooking videos recommended by TH-cam might be irritated. There is a youtube algorithm which stops recommending same pattern videos when you started disliking. So dislikes in youtube not always based on content 😀

    We make this sponge dosa in our house.we add appa soda to the batter it comes out very well with more holes and very soft dosa. We even toast only one side we don't turn the dosa.its so yummy and all time favourite in our house.

    Hai chef sir.... I'm a doctor working in covid duty... I'm having great passion in cooking. Wanted to attend cooking class.. But didn't had time.. Now I'm happy by watching your channel.. It's my stress buster.. Now I'm in hotel for last one year as I'm doing covid duty.. So didn't tried all the recipes.. Hope I will try that soon.. Till now I had tried pongal, ashoka halwa, rava dosa and pothina chutney.. Everything came well.. Thanks a lot sir...

    Sir ur poondu chutney has become side dish for even bread toast my son 4 years just luv it he eats extra idly and dosa just for the chutney thank u 😊
