How to Remove a Dent!

For anyone interested in seeing how a dent is removed from a flute, we were recently asked to remove a rather nasty dent on a headjoint. Naturally, Edison took one look at it and said, "Hold my beer" and got to work. Angus was on hand to record the process and provide sound effects.

did this myself with a huge huge dent in my head joint using plyers and a dollar store vaccum stick, this helped alot

I just bought an Artley 18-0 flute that has two dents in the body by two key cups.The keys still close.Do you remove those with a conventional dent ball used for brass instruments?
